Putting creative cloud or CS6 on a system clone

Hi all,
I haven't been able to find exact clarification on my query as I'm not looking to distribute a clone to many stations.
I have Macbook Pros I lend out every now and then but i want to completely wipe them and reinstall from a clone after they've been returned. Cloning the system is easy enough but I'm not sure what i need to do in terms of reinstalling some creative suite programs.
There is creative cloud and CS6 products on there. Would i need to use the enterprise deployment software in order to retain the keys with the clone so i can simply refresh them? Maybe that applys more to the cs6 version? Can i just clone the drive as is with creative cloud and simply sign back into creative cloud as the systems are the same?
Hopefully this makes sense, or if there's simpler suggestions I'd welcome it

Hi,
CC gives you access to all adobe desktop applications ( Photoshop,Acrobat,Illustrator,Indesign ,PPRO,After effects ,flash...) .
I'm a CC user and i have no major issues with it .Some issues when i have new updates but it's normal for each new application.
CS6 full license will not be updated ,it means that you'll have to move to cloud in the furture.
Creative cloud allows you to install CS6,CC and CC 2014 if you have different customers on different versions .
You have access to all new versions immediately after their release .

Had no less than 4 blue screens of death (BSOD) and I had to do restore but lost most of my files and cannnot get them back. What say you? I unistalled any leftover CC and CS6 illustrator thereafter.

    We can't know. You have not provided any relevant technical info like system specs and the actual crash logs. just saying that it crashes is pretty useless.

    Yes you can uninstall CS3 and CS5.5.
    You can also do this before installing CS6 too.

    Please add an option (maybe in next update schedule) that will let us to choose a different browser not the default.
    Adobe Cloud ,Behance also Prosite are very weak implemented on the Internet Explorer.

    Thank you for the attention given! I know this ... CCloud,Behance,Prosite go very well with Chrome;Firefox browsers(I use also on this browsers).
    In case that will set Chrome or Firefox as the default browser I'll lose modern (metro) Internet Explorer... I don't want to loose this browser because is using on different stuff...a taste option.
    I try question more like an suggestion to Adobe (maybe a future thinking option) but my English writes are weak ..

    Please follow the steps below :
    Step one : Open your Adobe Application Manager
    Step two: Click on your name- This should open a small drop down menu ( I know its not very obvious so here is a screen shot)
    Step 3: Click on preferences
    You will go directly to languages.. select the language you want.
    If you have already downloaded the app, just restart it - go to preferences or help ( in case of Edge animate for example) and change language.

    Hi Kapil, so maybe this could be the cause? Every time I start my computer the Adobe Creative Cloud asks me to sign in (without even touching any Adobe program, I just have installed a few of the CS6 suite to test them). If I press 'cancel' and then start the Adobe Application Manager, it asks also to prompt the Adobe ID AND every time I have to agree to the license agreement, not only once.  I'm just in the 30 day test phase, maybe this could also be a cause for that? Or ist this a hint for an improper installation?

  • Image Object Removed from Creative Cloud DW CS6

    Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Classroom in a Book  does not correspond to the creative cloud version of Dreamweaver CS6. One of several issues is that in chapter 3 and page 88 of the book it talks about image placeholders but in the creative cloud version of Dreamweaver CS6 insert > image object > image placeholders has been removed and no longer exists. In fact, the entire image object entity is gone!

    You are essentially using a book published at least a year ago for a product that  changed drastically about 2 months ago.
    If you had the actual disk copy of DWCS6 (Dreamweaver from Creative Suite 6), the book would work failry well. However, you don't have DWCS6, you actually have DWCC (Dreamweaver Creative Cloud, even putting the 6 in there doesn't really make sesnse anymore IMHO) which is constantly changing and is well on its way to becomming a completely different program.

  • Issues with Creative Cloud/ Flash CS6

    Hello, I've recently (Friday, March 15, 2013) restarted my subscription to Creative Cloud for Flash Pro CS6, but I haven't been able to open the application.
    However, I've contacted tech support (by phone and chat), but I still couldn't get any luck.
    What I've already tried (numerous times), but failed:
    Uninstalling and reinstalling Flash though the app manager
    Opening it through creative.adobe.com (still had the option for to "Try" it only)
    Updating Flash CS6
    Rebooting my PC
    Rebooting internet connection
    Opening Flash on another PC (still no luck)
    No matter what I tried, it kept taking me to the page requesting a serial code, when I'm supposed to have a subscription. I've had previous subscriptions to Creative Cloud and never had this problem until now.  What's really worse is, that the payment has already been posted and taken out of my card and yet I can't use what I paid for. It's an extremely unsavory feeling to pay $30.00 for something you can't even use. Sorry to sound blunt, but I could really use some help  (or a refund) to resolve this issue. I'd also appreciate it if you could let me know if you're having a similar issue and/or know of a workaround to the problem!

    I've tried your suggestion, but unfortunately, I couldn't even get past the third step because I still wasn't able to open Flash, even when I did follow the first two steps. Just a thought: I have Photoshop Elements 9 installed, but I know that it's not part of CS, but could it possibly be something with PSE 9 interfering with the app manager? Though, I have had PSE 9, a trial of Illustrator CS5, and a subscription to CC for Flash CS6 installed on my computer once before, I had no problem whatsoever. But now I just have PSE 9 and (Flash CS6). I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the issue I'm having, but I just wanted to make sure.

  • Installation Error -403 on Creative Cloud Photoshop CS6 install

    Mac OS X 10.8.2, Retina MacBook Pro, 16GB RAM
    Greetings, and hoping for a hand here (already on hold for an hour and a half waiting for a tech from Adobe to become free...wow, there must be lots of similar problems...).
    Just started a Creative Cloud subscription. I already owned some CS6 applications, most notably Photoshop. I installed the AAM and downloaded some of the apps missing from my catalog. Cool! But I noticed that Photoshop was not Photoshop Extended. Some searches led me to believe that I needed to deactivate my purchased version and uninstall it (which I did with Adobe's uninstaller). AAM then reported that Photoshop was no longer installed, so I clicked to install. It downloaded and immediately at the end of installation, it gave me the following: Installation Failed. Download error. Press retry to try again or contact customer support. (403).
    Note that I've installed three other CS6 applications successfully on the same network setup with no issues. I've also run the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, but it doesn't see Photoshop at all remaining on the machine. I see no remnants of it when I manually inspect things.
    Repeated downloads of Photoshop do nothing different. Always error 403. DLM_Native.log has nothing at all useful. Here is everything time stamped from this particular installation attempt:

    Anyone have any ideas? I have searched extensively and haven't seen anyone with this situation. Maybe Adobe rolled this out a little before it was ready? The hold times on the phone seem to indicate this...

    OK, I figured it out. It was the firewall at work. Installed correctly on the first try at home. What is strange here is that other applications installed just fine. It appears that Photoshop does some extra validation online that the other apps don't do. So, if you see this error, know that one cause of it can be firewall issues.

    Okay I am getting very panicky now as I have joined creative cloud and submitted payment and spent the whole morning waiting for it to download photoshop CS6 and it still comes up with 'enter serial number' - I have a project to finish today which isn't helping. As far as I am aware I have uninstalled the trial version I had installed.  Is there anything I am missing or that I could check - I am using a macbook pro - any help will be very greatfully received, this is not a great start to my 12 month contract!

    I started a project file on the Adobe Creative Cloud and I am trying to convert the file to CS6 (as that is what all my editors have).     I am the director of the project- so I am not very technically inclined to answer these questions, but will try my best. My lead editor dropped out of the project leaving me very confused and I am trying to establish a new workflow based off of her existing project file.
    The original project was started in Adobe Creative Cloud. I am now trying to use Adobe CS6 and I am trying to figure out if we can convert a file from Creative Cloud > CS6. If you can provide a list of questions for me to ask my previous editor I can direct them to her and try to provide a more concise answer. Thanks for your help.

    I have CS6 Premium installed (the upgrade from CS5 Design Premium)
    Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat X, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Media Encoder, Extenson Manager
    So, there's only  Lightroom and Muse left. I dont use either much.
    I'd really like to see it work in my normal work scenario with the above apps.
    Do I need to download separate copies of the CS apps to run under Creative Cloud?
    Or can I temporarily deactivate the CS6 apps' perpetual serial and run under Creative Cloud?
