Putting documents into notes

OK, I just got my new 5gen 60 iPod last wednesday, been having no problems with it itself(had an isue with iTunes and no sound on videos, but got that taken care of with iSquint), but now I seem to be running into something of an issue. I have several text documents that I would like to put on my iPod(which already has disk enabled, btw), most of which are .rtf files, having been made and saved in TextEdit either at school on the g5 or at home on my eMac. Now I can get them on there, and open them, but they have all sorts of tags included that makes reading them difficult. I tried switching from .rtf to .html, still couldn't get the tags to go away, actually made it worse with .html, so before I try anything else I figured I'd come here and ask what kind of text files display properly, without tags. Any help would be very much appreciated ^-^ Thanks in advance!

Finder forces to use password when I want to put document into trash. ML, MBP 2009.

Hello,
today I have got strange situation. When I try tu put document, PDF, photo (whatever) into trash by move / pulling or right clik or in Finder by push trash icon appears information: "Finder wants to make changes. Enter your password in order to it to allow." After entering the password the document disappeared but wasn't in the basket !
I must enter the password for every document individually. I switched off a computer but didn't help. I searched Finder preferences but I found nothing.
I will be grateful for the help.

This is a basic computer skill you might want to learn. You can always control which application opens any document, and the steps below apply to any Mac or Windows computer you use:
Method 1: Drag the document icon on top of the application (Word, Pages, LibreOffice...) icon and release. The system will open the document in the application you dragged it to.

Delta changes in R/3 sales document are not coming into CRM

Hi Middleware experts,
We are on CRM 5.0 SP 005 with ECC 5.0 SP 007 and using the scenario X for sales documents replication.
Now the order is created in CRM and successfully transfered to R/3. I can see 3 Bdocs in SMW01 with green lights. First Bdoc says 'R/3 adapter is called', second Bdoc says 'the order is successfully saved' and displays a warning 'The sales document is not yet complete: Edit data' and third Bdoc has no messages. Also I do not see any struck queues in CRM and in R/3
I am able to edit the sales document in both the systems as per the scenario X. Now I have completed and saved the document in R/3. Surprisingly these changes are not coming into CRM and no new entries in SMW01. Also R/3 SMQ1 and CRM SmQ2 doesn't show any entries. I am also not able to debug, since I do not see any Bdocs in SMW01.
Now, if I changes the document in CRM and these changes are coming into R/3.
Also all documents created in R/3 are successfully going into CRM including delta changes in R/3.
I do not have any clue on what is happening? Highly appreciated, if you can help me.

Hi PK,
In R3AC1 only we put the filter. So if you do not have any other filter then make sure that you are changing the order which was created not before the date mentioned.
I would recommend you to just deregister the CRM system in R/3 Transaction SMQS and do some changes in the orders and check any queues are getting created corresponding to that order, If yes that means filter is not an issue. Then debug the queue and find the exact problem. Also make sure that the order you are changing in R/3 is of the same order type what you have mentioned in the filter.
Make sure to registor back the CRM other wise all the queues will get stuck in R/3 outbound.

When I paste a Pages document into an email it looks totally different. Even when I export it too Microsoft Word the Word document looks different. Apparently this does not happen if you have Word on your computer. Does anyone have experience?

I need to be able to copy/paste documents into the body of an email and have them look exactly like the original document. I could always do this on my PC using Microsoft Word. And all writers submitting work to agents do this. I just tried it with Apple's Pages and when I pasted it into the body of the email, the document looked totally different . . . no double spacing, no paragraphing etc. Even when I exported the document to Word, I copy/pasted it into an email and it looked totally different. I suspect Apple's version of Word does not perform like the real Word in all circumstances . . . Before I go out and buy Word and put it on my Apple, I would like to know if anyone else has had this issue and how they may have dealt with it. Thanks.

Drag and drop the file into the email, the formatting will be retained when it is opened by the recipient.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

My iPhone 4 will NOT show up on iTunes, not even by putting it into recovery mode. Can anyone help me fix this problem? I would like to use iTunes with it.

I got an iPhone 4 on Thursday.
I connected it to my PC, a Windows Vista, that day and nothing showed up besides a "camera."
My computer picked it up as a camera, which I understand is a common occurence in the iPhone.
After browsing countless youtube videos and Apple Forum Questions, nothing helped.
I put it into recovery mode by holding on the power and menu button, but when I opened iTunes it still didn't detect anything.
I feel like I'm almost hurting my iPhone because I turned it off and on so many times, and plugged it in and out several times, and so forth.
Here is what happened after putting it into recovery mode: 1. A Windows "device locator" popped up. 2. It was looking for a solution to help me with the unknown device, or iPhone. 3. I clicked onto the find solution button, and it told me that I needed a disc.
--- I didn't have a disc, so I looked up this problem and it told me to manually find Apple mobile device support on my driver, so I did.---
4. I then went onto Control Panel and clicked on SYSTEM and MAINTENANCE and went to DEVICE MANAGER.
5. There I found my iPhone listed under USB controllers.
6. I uninstalled and installed it several times.
7. I then manually found a program to ease the problem. The program was "apple mobile device support," which was located on my apple driver.
8. Nothing happened, besides it reporting to me that Apple USB was found and that "code 39" or "code 1" was in the way.
9. I didn't know what to do with this....
By this time, I was about to give up on my iPhone and return it back to the store.
I tried again, but in a different way this time.
1. I put it back into recovery mode and I opened itunes.
2. itunes reported to me that some burning or CD/Drive software was missing and that I needed to reinstall it.
3. SO, I reinstalled it several times, about 12 (iTunes), and nothing changed.
4. I then looked up the problem of why the CD/Drive software problem kept popping up.
5. I fixed it by going to my registry and adding an UpperFilter with the code GEARaspi...something like that.
6. The problem was fixed, but still no iPhone onto my itunes.
I stayed up all night last night to fix this problem...I'm annoyed and tired.
I tried another problem to fix this.
1. I didn't put it into recovery mode.
2. My iPhone showed up under portable devices under "device manager," from SYS/MAIN"
3. I did update software.
4. I clicked on "apple mobile device support" but nothing happened.
5. It reported to me of the Code thing again.
I even called the Apple people and they didn't know what to do, so I stopped calling them...because they only had limited options to fix the problem.
Can anyone help me?

Don't have a direct answer. But did you install the updates. They might resolve the problem.

Thanks for your response, I was able to open bridge from File-Browse in Bridge. This worked, but was not able to go back to the way I always opened Bridge. At least I could get to Bridge and go into Camera Raw. I never tried to open Bridge from the Start menu. The odd thing about this is, it has happened before, and to get it "unstuck" and working again, I would shut down and restart again in a few minutes, and things would go back to normal. This time it did not go back to normal after several attempts. I shut down for about 3-4 hours, restarted, and it seems to be back to normal again. I am not sure if it's a problem that is getting worse each time it happens. And yes I am using Mini Bridge in photoshop CS5. Thank you for your help. Dan

To see all the photos on the phone, including photos that have already been imported into iPhoto, deselect the "Hide Photos Already Imported" checkbox. If the camera contains photos that have already been imported into iPhoto, those photos are hidden by default.

Hello Chandra,
Check whether any standard cost estimate is existing for that material for which your billing. If it is there then check whether costing key from COPA is able to access the cost estimate.
I am also working on the same issue but not solved yet.
