Putting in Transitions...any way to do it all at once??

Hello
I would like to put cross-dissolves on all my pictures in my slideshow, however, is there a way to do it all at once instead of 200 individual entries??
Thanks
Chris

Are you doing this in iPhoto or iMovie. In iPhoto, put all the photos you wish to include in your slideshow into an album. Select that album. Along the bottom of the window, hit the slideshow button. Then, you simply select the transition type for the slideshow transition popup menu, and it will apply to all slides. Press play and watch the show.
If this is helpful to you, please make sure that you hit either the Solved or Helpful button at the top of this response.

  • Place linked, any way to update several layers at once when changing location of source files? (i.e. moving source folder to different location/computer)

I have a PS file whic I wanna use as template for several works. I've got several layers containing external images which have been "placed linked" and which are organised in a single folder in my computer. I believe the links are saved as absolute therefore if I copy the PSD file and the source images folder into a different computer (or even if I move the source folder to a different location in the same computer) all smart objects have to be relinked one by one!!! any way to do it all at once (as I guess it is the case in Premiere and AE) assuming they're all in the same folder???
Also similar question when renaming all source images, any way PS can link to specific file and keep the link even if a name change happens?
If possible it'd be a huge time saver!
    Thanks

    anyone any help? Thx!

  • HT1202 My iPod is set to manually manage music. I have tons of different music from different computers on my iPod. Unfortunately my iPod is getting old and I'd like to purchase a new one. Is there any way I can transfer all the music to a new iPod?

My Ipod touch is set to manually manage music. I have put music from my computer and iTunes account onto it, and music from other people's computer and iTunes accounts on it. Unfortunately I dropped my iPod and the screen cracked. It still plays music and everything just fine, but it has problems with it's battery life so I'd like to just get a completely new iPod nano. Is there any way I can transfer all the music from my iPod touch onto a new iPod nano? From what I can tell it won't let me sync any of the music on my iPod touch that is from other people's computers onto my laptop, and so I wouldn't be able to put it on a new iPod nano. Hopefully that makes sense. I'd just really really like to be able to keep all that music and not lose 2/3 of my iPod touch music library because I want to put it on a newer Ipod.

Use iTunes to backup files from your old ipod first then transfer to the new iPod. Please
follow the steps in How to transfer your backup from one iOS device to a new device.   By the way, if you don't have the iTunes, you can use this iPhone transfer program. It help you to transfer sms and contacts from iPhone.

To see if there are any backups of your device on the computer, go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices.
Moving the mouse over the listed backups will tell you to which device they belong.
If there is no backup of your phone listed, your data is gone.
In case you also used iCloud to back up your data, check this article:

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
That depends on whether you have it backed up somewhere.

  • I synced my sisters phone with my itunes and now all her contacts have disappeared and been replaced with mine and also photos... she has never done a back-up is there any way we can get all her contacts and pictures back?

Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .

  • HT2905 My entire song list duplicated for some reason  Do i have to delete individually (take forever), or is there a way to do it all at once?

My entire song list duplicated for some reason. Do I have to delete songs individually (take forever), or is there a way to do it all at once?

I had the same problem.  Had at least 3 of each song in my library...  Here's how I fixed it.
Go on iTunes to your library
Hit Shift and click on View
Scroll down to "show exact duplicate items"
the list will give you all your duplicated songs
Click at the top of the "date added" Column to sort by date added.
Even if it all happened the same day it will group your whole library by date and time added.
    The time is the key...
You can start at the begining of you list and scroll to the last song that was added that day and time frame.
Everything after your last song is duplicates.
Highlight the first song hold down shift and scroll down to the last song...
Once they are all highlighted you can hit delete and send them all to the recycle bin.
It took me a while to figure it out but it works

  • IPad 3 with iOS 7: Any way to close/exit all apps with one action?

While there are some things that I like about iOS 7, there is one long term gripe that I have that's been made worse by iOS 7.  I have an iPad 3, and usually close (exit) all the apps that I've used that day at the end of the day, then put the iPad on the charger for the night.  I'm really tired of having to fling all the apps off the screen to close them...being able to do this with 2 or 3 apps at a time is really not helpful, either *smile*.
Is there any way that I can just close all the open apps with one gesture or action?  This would be so nice, flinging apps off the screen is not an improvement for me over the previous method of tapping on X's, what would be an improvement would be to not have to do that to close all the open apps.  Flinging isn't bad for one or two apps, but for 10 or 15, no, I can't say that it isn't really boring and annoying.  Even Android has an option to "close all", good grief.
Thanks for any help with this.

Most apps close automatically when you press the home button and move to the next app. Apps only need swipe closing if they are misbehaving or you purposefully left them open. The most notable exception being the music apps which because of their ability to play in the background always closing. In short if you're worried about saving time by swiping apps there's no need to swipe any.

  • Any way to clean up all the monitor activities ?

Login in APEX Admin, under Monitor Activity page, I can view all kinds of report and activity. Those pages have a link that I can download those reports to CVS file. So I can archive those activities in flat file rather than storing in the database.
Okay...my question is: Is there any way to purge ALL the activity log ? I want to free some tablespace space since Oracle XE has limitation on the tablespace size.

    Hello,
The activity reports you are talking about are based on a built-in view called APEX_ACTIVITY_LOG -
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14373_01/appdev.32/e11838/advnc.htm#CHDDHGJI . As far as I know you don’t have any control on how this view is working, and you can’t purge its data from within APEX. However, APEX is doing it for you, periodically, although I don’t know the exact time frame.
    Regards,
    Arie.

I have an iphone 3gs.  I have 7 separate email accounts on the phone.  Everytime I update the phone, it reloads all emails received as new unread emails.  I can click each one, move them to trash and then delete all.  However, I am wondering whether there is any way to either (a) delete all from the inbox or (b) stop them from reloading?
    Thanks

    Hello Kizzyk,
I would start with taking a look at the settings to make sure that you are able to send and receive messages. If everything looks good then the next step would be to remove the accounts and add them back in. Take a look at the article below for more information and details on how to troubleshoot your issue further.

  • Is there any way to delete multiple spams at once, right now I go through each individually and delete it, but it's time consuming, thanks

Is there any way to delete multiple spam messages at once. Right now I go through each individual spam and delete one at a time. This is very time consuming. Any tricks out there.
    Thank you

    Hi LRagsdale517,
You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.
Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,

  • Lost my ipod touch and is there any way i can get all my info deleted from it?

lost my ipod is there any way i can track it down or delete the info thats in it please reply

Only if you installed "Find my iPhone" prior to the loss, you could be able to log into iCloud and track or remotely erase your device. If you did not install and activate your account in iCloud, there is no other way to do that.
