Putting several single view apps together into 'a suite'

I have a few single view apps that I want to combine into a suite. This would be in the format of having an initial menu screen with an icon for each of the apps, and the user would select the app he wants and the single view app would launch.
What is a recommended approach here? I have not tried anything like this before.
Should be simple, I guess! Multiple linked targets?
Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.

Create a menu view.
Create a view for each function (app).
When an option (function/app) is selected, push that fuction's view onto the navigation stack.
When the user presses the back button, there's your menu!
(You can use Storyboards for the same thing but I've no experience with them, yet.)

Well, go to Youtube. Pick up the embed code they offer. Go to Thunderbird, create an html-formatted message. Go to '''Insert|HTML''', paste your embed code in to the box offered.
It may or may not work; it depends a lot on whether your recipient's mail client supports this. Thunderbird itself will not run scripts, so I wouldn't expect anyone viewing your message using Thunderbird to see the viewer.
Are you sure you want to do this? I could find it dreadfully embarrassing at work If I opened an email and it instantly started playing a video.

The issue with the A1400 is that like most economy compact cameras, they will not have very fast focus times in indoor lighting situations. Many people have gone to entry level DSLR's (Canon T3i) or micro 4/3 cameras. They are fairly expensive, but a late model refurbished T3i can sometimes be found with a kit lens for about $300.00. With Auto and scene modes, as well as full manual modes, these are very versatile cameras that focus very quickly, even in lower lighting situations. Canon is not really into the micro 4/3 cameras, instead they are focusing on the new G7x and G1x cameras, which are way out of your price range. The A720 is still available used at some places such as KEH camera, but you'll need to check often as their stock changes constantly. Obviously the DSLR's don't use AA batteries, but the T3i is good for about 600 photos (or more) per charge.
My refurbished DSLR was practically brand new condition when I got it. I could not find any sign of wear at all, so I feel they are a real bargain. These are rugged cameras that are made to last. The A1400 is a $99.00 camera, so it's not intended for heavy usage, plus the image quality of a DSLR (even entry level) is far better than the A1400. That would be my recommendation.

QuickTime Player is not itself able to do this. You need a proper DVD authoring solution such as Apple's iDVD.

Select all the photos that you need to change, then click the "Photos" menu and choose "Adjust Date and Time".
If you add a year, it will adjust all the photos that you selected by adding a year (so if you accidentally select one of the photos that already has "2012", that will change to "2013").

No Response when submitting build for single-edition custom viewer app

I want to build a custom viewer app for a single-edition folio for the iPad using the Viewer Builder. I go through all the steps described by the help articles and videos, such as generating and downloading mobileprovision files and creating asset files. However, at the final step, where the viewer builder displays the text: 'Once you hit the Submit Build' button, your build will be queued. Click 'Finish' to return to your list of publications. I click 'Submit Build', and I get the progress bar which says 'Submitting to the build queue: This popup will disapper once complete'. Once the popup disappears, I click, 'Finish', and I am returned to the Manage screen. I can see a list item for each time I attempted to submit a build, but the Builds and Build Details Columns are blank, showing no builds. However, there is a link in the App Status Column to 'Activate' by entering a serial number. Is it necessary for me to enter my serial number before I can see the results of my build, or is there something wrong with the build process?

Yes, and you need to PAY for that serial number. Single Edition apps are $395 each.

The two HD clips were purchased from itunes (MPEG - 4) and converted to .mov for use in Final Cut Pro. Project properties - 720p HD 1280x720 (60p)

I have a single folio app in iTunes that was created using adobe ID "A". I also have a multi folio app in iTunes that was created using adboe ID "B". How do I migrate the single folio app into the new multi folio app, ensuring that apple sees it as an update so users of the single folio app are notified of an update. Both apps were published using the same apple distribution id. Step-by-step help would be greately appreciated.

In your case, I would create a multi-folio version of the app and then use iTunes Connect to submit it as an update to the previous version of the app. When users update the app, they'll lose the folio that was previously baked into the app, but they can download that folio—and others—from the library of the new version. You'll want to make those folios available in Adobe ID 'B', which should be the Title ID you use when you build the app. I think all you need to do for your existing customers is describe the change to the app in the update description in iTunes Connect.

Is it possible to have the "single view" (Einzelseite) as the default view in the preview.app?

The single view is the only setting I need and I find it cumbersome to dig inside menues for every single document. It would be great if there was an option or maybe a property that can be set.

And another comment: The save trick does not work for documents you cannot write. For instance I have a latex documentation on my machine and I cannot save these documents since they belong to root. So it would be great to make this configurable for the user.

Refresh groups to administer several materialized views?

Hi,
I had three materialized views in my database. They are used for decision support and access local data. Each one is completely refreshed at a distinct time during the night.
Now, application developers asked for more 3 materialized views. Although there is no need to guarantee referential integrity between the materialized views, it seems to me that the more efficient way to administer their refresh is by using a refresh group. Therefore, I am planning to create a refresh group with the 6 materialized views.
Is there another good way to administer refresh options of several materialized views?

If the existing three materialized views are refreshed at distinct times during the night, I'm not sure what benefit there would be to putting the three into a single refresh group (and I'm ignoring what happens when you add the three new ones). You put multiple materialized views into a refresh group so that you can do a single refresh and so that the data is internally consistent. If you don't need the data to be consistent and you want the materialized views to be refreshed at different points in time, I'm not sure what benefit you'd derive from putting them in a refresh group.

I need to use Crystal XI and create a dashboard which shows some sales data and stuff, multiple graphs on a single screen.
My tech team says they can display one graph per page but not 4 graphs on the same page as it uses a common view from SQL Server 2005.
How to manage this? Can we call in multiple views / graphs in the same page? Say 4 graphs on the same page?
We use ASP or .NET for calling crystal reports into the App.

Have you tried creating multiple sections, putting each graph in a separate section and then underlaying the sections so they appear next to each other?
