Putting singles into an album

I purchased a single from an album and then later purchased the rest of the album from the complete album section. When I go onto itunes it still has the single by itself(with its own different album artwork) and the album separate, starting with track 2 and its own album artwork. I already tried going to the single and changing it to the album name and it did put it in the album, but when I would go to it the artwork was still different and changed the artwork for the album. It would also show the full album twice on my 4th generation ipod nano.

Make sure Artist, Album Artist, and Album are all the same for all the tracks. This article has good examples:

Highlight all the album tracks, right-cick and do a Get Info for the multiple tracks. If any of those fields shows up blank, then something is different between them. Might just be a blank space at the end...

Hi there,
This is really annoying i have downloaded music & won't to put it into one album, but on my ipod it comes up as mutiple, i've tried putting 'various artists' in album artist but nothing is working. I have downloaded the music from torrentz.

The album title must be identical in each song, making sure there are no extra trailing spaces after the title.
E.G.:
"Album Title"
"Album Title "
Also, mark all the songs as Part of a Compilation. Leave the "Various Artists" in the Album Artist box.
You might want to refrain from mentioning where you got the songs from unless you are 100% positive that you are legally allowed to have them.

HT2729 How can I put songs into the album they came from but were split because of multiple artists on a tune?

I need help in finding out home to combine songs from the same CD into one Album. When putting CD into the iMac, it auto loads into iTunes. If the artist is singing duet and the songs show more than one artist, it gets separated in iTunes. I want to combine all tracks together like they are on the CD.

One way around this is to edit the album info for each song on that album and make the album artist 'various artists', or you can remove that duet artist and make all the artists the same.
Seems to be a glitch or change with how iTunes sees albums now. THey alphabetize them by artist and, as you've noticed, if the artists are different, it sees them as different albums.
I had many albums like this and spent a whole weekend editing the info to 'various' to clean it up.

When I'm streaming photos to ipad from my PC, those will be in a streamed area. They do not show up in "pictures", and I'm not able to put them into an album. I'm using icloud. Are there any solutions of my problem?

I would like to make an album at my Ipad. The first pictures I transfered, did get into "pictures", and I could make a photo album. Later I did get them into streamed areas, but they did not get any ways to make an album. They did not apply to "pictures", and when I make an album and tries to import the pictures, the streamed pictures do not show up. What can be done?

How to separate single photos from that have been put into an album

I always import and categorize my photos into albums immediately. But I've accidentally imported photos without putting them into an album so they don't appear in the 'events' section. They do however appear in the 'all photos' section along with thousands of other photos. Is there a way to separate photos that are already in an album from those that are not yet in one so I can easily see which ones I haven't organized and sort them from there?

I've been importing all my old CDs into itunes but one of them which came up as unknown has imported as single tracks named track 1, track 2 etc. It wasn't an obscure CD (Paul Carrack - the journey so far) but not one that's available in the itunes store. I've manually changed the track names but they all appear as single tracks in the "Albums" section. Is there a way to put them all into an album to show up as an album with the other albums. Other "unknown" CDs I imported have imported with the correct track names but just don't have the album artwork so I don't understand why this one is behaving totally different?

If you select the tracks all together in iTunes/ Songs then go to File/Get info you will be asked "Are you sure you want to edit information for multiple items?" Go ahead and you can make them into an album, putting in the artist name, etc.

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database?

Select all the photos that you need to change, then click the "Photos" menu and choose "Adjust Date and Time".
If you add a year, it will adjust all the photos that you selected by adding a year (so if you accidentally select one of the photos that already has "2012", that will change to "2013").

Why can I not put a picture from camera roll into an album?

Why can I not put a picture from my camera roll into an album now? When I try these are greyed out. I created these albums on my ipad too but ever since I updated to IOS 7 this can't be done, it was so easy before.

I can now answer my own question as I've worked it out. For those who are interested click on Shared Streams then on album you require photo to be in then click on the empty box with a cross in the centre and choose photo you wish to add.

How do I put a group of songs into one album? They copied separately into iTunes.

Generally, in iTunes, all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist to keep things together. For older iPods each track from the same album should have the same artist, or be marked as a compilation where appropriate. Why are photos I deleted from Camera Roll re-appearing in CR when I put them into Albums from Photo Stream?

Last night I deleted some photos from my Camera Roll (on iPhone 3GS) using cable connection to my PC. I then went to Photo Stream (the photos were, correctly, still in there) and put some of them in Albums in the Photos app. Some, but not all, have now re-appeared in Camera Roll - and, very unhelpfully, not in the order they were taken. I don't want these photos in Camera Roll but can vaguely accept and understand if the app HAS to copy the Photo Stream photos to Camera Roll if you put them in Albums and they are not in Camera Roll already but then why are there 2 photos (in different Albums) that this is not happening for?
Any ideas/advice?

I connected the iPhone to my PC with the USB sync cable (I usually sync by Wifi) and opened the iPhone as a Windows window. Went to the relevant DCIM folder for the Camera Roll and Deleted them there. I checked on the iPhone before and after sycning that they had been deleted from Camera Roll - and they had. I only have one Camera Roll album (no chance of another album being synced).
They remained deleted from my Camera Roll until I put the copies of the photos held in the Photo Stream album (which I purposely did not delete them from) into an album. They then appeared in my Camera Roll again. Now, if I delete them from Camera Roll again (either direct from iPhone Photo app or via USB cable) they still reappear in my Camera Roll if I put them in an album from Photo Stream. I can see it happen before my eyes as each one appears after I have selected the photos from Photo Stream, used Share to put them in an album and then go to Camera Roll - they pop up one at a time.
It would make sense to some extent except that there are two photos (in two separate albums to the ones that are reappearing) that have definitely been deleted from the Camera Roll, have been put in their respective albums from Photo Stream but are not reappearing in Camera Roll. And, as far as I know, I did exactly the same things with them. I don't want to have the photos back in my Camera Roll but I cannot find any explanation as to why one set is appearing back in Camera Roll and these two are not.

go to photos. click on edit. click on add. it will ask a name. then go into your camera roll. at top right click on arrow. then select the pics you want. then click done.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entries, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)
