Need help with iMovie.
Have presentation for my Dad's funeral. Presentation is a little over 1 hour long and was working fine until traveling to funeral. Now several songs do not play. Some songs are fine.
I have tried restarting iMovie, restarting my computer. I have deleted the songs and replaced them with the song from iTunes. I made sure all song volumes are a 100% and my computer volume is normal. I normalized all audio files. Nothing seems to work.
Funeral is in about 3 hours. Desperate for help... any suggestions.

One of teh final steps in the Export to Movie process is a dialog box where one can select which of the audio tracks embedded within the movie are included.
You must actively de-select those tracks that you do NOT want to include in the Export.

I have my a song purchased from Itunes and would like to use part of it for a ringtone and get all the way thur the process of getting it to my phone but it goes to sync to my phone it doesn't show up in my phone like it says it is suppose to under ringtones. I've created playlists with songs I've purchased from iTunes and also added songs I've purchased from iTunes to existing playlists. Everytime I go to sync the playlist to my iPhone I find some of the new songs missing from the playlist. I've deleted the playlist from the phone and reinstalled it. I don't know what I"m doing wrong. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?
Wondering if you haven't been bitten by the new "feature" of iOS 5, as was my son. turingtest2 explained it very well in reply to my own query about "missing" songs in playlists.

I need some everytime I try to download a song purchase from itunes I get the error message. 'Unable to Download Song' could not be downloaded at this time. I cannot even sync with itunes on the PC.

IanOne correction, from the icloud I was not able to listed to the entire song. So when you purchased the song if it wasn't downloaded to your library, chances are you have lost your opportunity to listen to it.

They are the most expensive purchase from iTunes and just as valuable and important to be able to access anywhere from any device? I find it so frustrating that first I had to purchase iWorks for my Mac, then I had to purchase it all over again for my IOS device so I could use iCloud, then I purchase thousands of dollars of movies and am not able to store them in the cloud, yet we have only purchased the rights to the songs no differently than we have the movies. Why would they exclude movies from icloud?
They are not part of icloud in all countries, becuase the movie industry in those copuntries does not allow Apple to offer this.

Authorization of old song purchases from iTunes-Win7 PC.
For old songs purchased from iTunes several years ago, I'm notified I've exceeded the max (5) number of computers. I cannot play these songs or have them synch to my new iPhone. I've deauthorized all computers and re-authorized my current Win7 PC. I've changed the notification settings in the control panel. (All of these remedies suggested by Apple on-line support). This issue is still not resolved. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Thank you.
Sounds like you might have multiple iTunes Store accounts. If you purchased that old album with a different Apple ID, it wouldn't show up in your purchase history if you are signed in to a different account. Same deal for authorizing content. If that song was purchased using a different Apple ID, you would need to use that account name and password to authorize it.
If you aren't sure which account you used to purchase an item, you can find out by following these steps:
1) Control-click (or right-click) the item in your iTunes Library.
2) Choose Get Info from the menu that appears.
3) Click the Summary tab.
You’ll see the account used to purchase the item. If you have changed your account name, the item's Summary will still show the original account name. -
How/where or can I- store 75+ HD movies (not purchased from itunes) and have them all accessible from an ipad? Is their a cloud or other app. that would allow me to do this? What my wife wants to do is to be able to open up an app. and have all of her movies listed and then be able to click on any of them and watch them on her ipad. HELP!
The easiest way to do this is to import the movies into iTunes and sync as many of them as will fit onto the iPad.
If you want easy access to all of the movies without having to sync, you can find a file sharing website and upload all the movies there. Then, get a download managing app such as iDownloads, bookmark the links to all of the movies, and you can download them at will and delete them when you're done with them.
If you're especially tech savvy and want a solution that is less laborious, you can setup an FTP server (such as the Filezilla server if you have Windows) on the computer where the HD movies are located, and give it access to the folder where the movies are. Then get an app that can download to FTP servers (GoodReader is one that I use) and download the movies at will via FTP. This solution requires less busywork, but is only feasible if you are especially technically savvy. -

If you do not have a local copy of a song which you have purchased (i.e. it is available via iTunes in the Cloud), you may need to redownload it before you can transfer it to your device. You may find the following article helpful:

I recently ran an updatedafter being prompted multiple times. Now I find there are a number of songs that I cannot sync to my iPhone. Some are songs purchased from iTunes. Is there anyway to remedy this? I'd really prefer not to have to repurchase music.
Why would you repurchase songs simply because they will not sync? Sorry, that's beyond illogical, it's simply not smart.
What happens when trying to sync these songs?

Does Genius see only songs purchased from iTunes?
Does Genius see only songs purchased from iTunes? If I fill in some of the information, iTunes library such as track names, play counts, and ratings on songs that weren't purchases from the iTunes library will these be included in Genius. Will songs that just have the title and artist be included in Genius. Thanks for the help.

When I run with my iPhone4, the music just keeps skipping to the next song. I'll start my music, start running, and then the songs keep changing so I can never hear a song. Songs are from iTunes and it doesn't happen when running with my iPod. Suggestions?
Go to SETTINGS - IPOD - and turn off "Shake to Shuffle"...

I have an apple id which I have been happily using to purchase from iTunes and it appears magically on iPad and iPhone, MacBook and partner's iPod touch. Now I have done something wrong in iCloud and my mobile me Id comes up on iPhone and iPad so I can no longer purchase using this and i can't find a way to reset What should I do? I want to be able to buy apps from iPhone and iPad from this same account and still synch with my mac book and share with my partner's iPod touch.
Any suggestions?We are users, not Apple. We cannot trace your phone, and neither can Apple.
Please change every password you have. Posting your email addresses and Apple IDs on a public forum is insane. Hopefully a Mod will edit them out for you. -
i have over 5000 songs on my computer. Which is from songs bought from iTunes and from cd. i had all the songs on my iPod. went to download new songs and only 1500 songs are download . please help
Since all of your music came from your computer in the first place, then it should still be there and should be included in your backup copy of your computer.

You can sync as many ipods/iphones/ipads as you like to one one library. -
After installing the latest of iTunes the original files for almost 300 songs cannot be found for syncing to my iPod. The files are songs that were bought from iTunes, and copied into iTunes from CDs.
Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.

Ipod skips only with songs purchased from ITunes
My Ipod skips with a handfull of songs that I purchased from ITunes. They play fine on my laptop, but my Ipod wont play the entire song. Some play for 2 minutes others play for 20 seconds. I can't get anywhere with help topics, and I went through the whole 3 R's list twice. HELP!! Thanks

I supose its possible that there were internet interuptions during the download of theese songs. Most computer soundcards have technology that eliminates skips by... skipiing the skips. If you have a problem like Goldwave (freeware), you can open the file and zoom in to look at the wav. If there are little holes, you can delete them and it will be seemless. This is something I have done in the past, but likely isn't your issue.
