Puuting photos from your mac to your PC?

is it possible to transfer the pictures on your ipod that you have taken with the mac photobooth onto your ipod and then onto your windows PC. if so please explain
macbook   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Hello there. Your iPod will have to be formatted for Windows so that it will mount on the PC Windows desktop. You can do this a couple of ways. Mount the iPod on your Mac by plugging it in, and having the option set to use it as a hard drive and appear in the finder. You can set this function from within iTunes by right-clicking on the iPod icon and getting info. Now just drag the images over in the Finder to the iPod icon. Unmount it, plug it into the Windows machine, and then Explore it. Find the image files in the root directory of the iPod, drag them to your Windows My Photos folder and you are set.
If the photo is synced to iPhoto, you can simply plug the iPod into your Windows box, and explore the iPod. There is a Photos folder created by iPhoto, that will contain the image.

Goto Settings, select iCloud, select PhotoSteam, and turn it off - you will get a warning message that this will delete the photos in photostream (but they are in your camera roll and albums so no worries) and delete.  You will now have only Camera Roll (where you CAN delete photos directly on your phone), and any albums you've imported - which you can sync using iTunes.
Otherwise you can also loginto iCloud from Mac or PC and delete the photostream there
hope Apple changes this for future upgrades - would like to be able to delete ALL photos directly on my phone

I am having a problem when I try to select a photo or itunes song in Imovie or other programs. I get a window with grey lettering that says: "Open Itunes to populate this list" or "Open iphoto to see photos from your iPhoto library in this list.  I have tried relaunching programs and nothing appears. Seemed to start happening a while back after one of my system upgrades.

After a a lengthy conversation with Apple Tech. ($20), my problem seems to be solves. The Iphoto problem solved by trashing the plist file. The Itunes was more involved. We had to create a new Itunes folder and import the files into the new folder; and then import the playlists.

  • Printing photos from your Android device

Have you tried printing photos from your Android device (Samsung, Nexus, HTC, Sony etc) ?

Some people have reported issues with skewed borders when trying to print 4x6 & 5x7 photos (see example below of correct photo size v's photo with skewed borders)
If you run into this issue I would advise you to download the free HP ePrint APP from the App Store or Google Play, this allows you to print perfect borderless photos,
    Hope this helps.

Hi apple, I was wondering if you could in the iOS5.0.2 update or the update after that, give the ability to upload photos from your photo album directly to Facebook without having to plug your iPod, iPad or iPhone into your computer.

Apple does not monitor these forums for suggetions.  To make a suggestion to Apple go here:

  • HT201077 when you delete a photo from your iphone does it delete it from icloud back up also

When you delete a photo from your iphone does it delete it from the icloud backup?

No, however your next backup will not contain the photo as it is no longer on your phone (and iCloud only saves approx. 3 older backups so the one containing the photo will eventually no longer be available).  Also, a word of caution...it seems like many users end up losing some or all of their photos when restoring to their iCloud backup.  To be safe, don't rely on the backup but instead import your photos (and videos) to your computer, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

  • How can I move select photos from my mac to my macbook air?

I would like to know the best, quickest, easiest way to move photos from my Mac to my macbook air?  I have tried Migration Assistant--was going to take 4 hours and I don't want to share all files, just photos.  I also went into System Pref. on each computer, clicked "Sharing" and attempted to allow access to both computers by setting up a Public folder but only some of the photos transferred.  I also get a message on my mb air telling me I don't have access to the pictures on the other Mac, even though I have granted access to "Everyone" in my network.   Also, I've updated both computers and rebooted them, to no avail.
We have a wireless network, if that makes a difference?
Thanks!--have a client meeting in 25 minutes and need some photos--HELP!!

    1st solution
One great features is AirDrop if you connect both Mac on the same WiFi.
Go to finder, on the top of the left list you get : All my files, AirDrop, ...
Click on AirDrop on both computer, you will see on both computer each other. Then just drag and drop files from one computer to the other.
    2nd solution
Use an USB drive ... ok physical support are so boring ...
    3rd solution
Share folders between your computer but with right rights on it ... can take a long time to explain ... ask if you wan't this solution
    4th solution : iPhoto
if you store your pictures in iPhoto you can share your library between several iPhoto.
Launch iPhoto on both Mac and on the source's one activate sharing library
    5th solution : iCloud
If you have iCloud configured on both Mac and you store your photo in iPhoto both will get the last 1000th photos
    6th solution : dropbox
Store your photo in dropbox and they will synchronize on both Mac
    7 ....
Ask if you want some more
