PUZZLING, help, not connecting.
my ipod classic, 5th generation is not connecting to my pc (windows 7, laptop)
it connects to my moms windows xp laptop just fine.
it shows up on deivce manger, though not in my computer, nor in itunes.
i disconnected it, rebooted it, restarted my pc a countless number of times. nothing. force booted into hard disk mode...
ive gone through the whole troubleshooting section on the site, including a countless number of threads, i've reinstalled itunes from scratch, stopping/starting apple mobile device services, ive honestly tried just about everything... please help.

the ipod, i see, is listed as a usb mass storage device, though not showing up in "my computer".
I've just formated the thing using windows xp on an old laptop, still doesnt show up on this pc; on top of reinstalling itunes, pretty much eliminates the option of something being wrong with the itunes client.
i see the ipod is connected is connected in diskmanager, though when i attempt to mount the disk using the GUI i receive an error along the lines of "Disk Management console view is not up-to-date".... the command line interface brings me no further results, as i cannot mount a disk, rather it must be a volume, though it does not show up as a volume.
i have work now, hopefully ill figure out when i get back. Thank you everyone!

Can not connect to oracle10g release2 database On XP SP2. Help needed

I have used Oracle 8 and it was nice. I didn't run Oracle 9i.
Now I installed Oracle10g R2 in WinXP-SP2. There was no problem in installation. But i can't run it. I get the Black SQL screen. But if i give some command it says "Not connected to database".
Oracle 8 version had built in database "emp" and "sal". In start up username and password box used to come(scott/tiger). But here I don't know if there is any builtin database,even there is no place to input username/password. So i cant work with 10g.
So i can't give command like Oracle 8
select *
from emp;
I do not have any network in my Desktop PC.. pls help me how to run and test Oracle 10g database on my machine. Also tell the name of the built in database.
I am much in trouble.

During installation is you choose "database creation" option then default database is created.
database name is "ORCL"
you can check in windows registry
On command prompt
cmd>net start
if it is showing "OracleServiceORCL" then database is created"scott/tiger user is also created but in 10g it is LOCKED by default.
so you have to first unlock this user.
Now you can connect with "sys"or "system" but you know their password.
in 10g there is no default password for sys or system, we have to mention during installation time.
if you don't know then you can connect with sys like "SQL> CONN / AS SYSDBA" to sqlplus. -
just got a new iphone 5s and i am trying to get on the app store but it is telling me that not connected to itunes when i connect to itunes it was fine then went back to app store it is telling me sign in to itunes store so i do that with my apple id and password but is still isn't working help

New iMac 27" WILL NOT connect the built in webcam to any websites. HELP!

I have the iMac 27'' 2.93 GHz Intel Core i7 16GB.
The built in webcam, (and also any USB webcams I have tried to connect,) will not connect to any websites such as Chat Roulette, or any other broadcast website that requires Adobe Flash Player. I hit accept, and it just comes up as either a black screen, or says detecting video. (Depending on the site.) I have tried on multiple browsers, is there a random setting I don't know about?
The webcam works perfectly with Skype, Photobooth, iChat- but it will not work when trying to broadcast through any website.
Can someone please help me solve this problem!? It's ridiculous.

iTunes Store for Windows. Everytime I try an access the iTunes Store it takes really long to connect and then it says iTunes store cannot be access. I think I am up to date with iTunes Verison, I Have 11.0.2.26 but no matter what I try it does not connect. HELP Please???

I got this for Christmas and its one of the only convient ways to communicate with my aunt who is currently living in another country! Someone stole it and its not connected to wifi or online. This happened last week and I just got it 2 weeks ago but I didn't know what to do then...I never installed any app for tracking or anything like that and I can't afford a new one! Even with the discount! Someone please help me.
Sorry, but if you didn't set up Find My iPod, and/or the iPod is not turned on or otherwise connected to the Internet, there's no way to track it nor affect it in any way. Notify the police and change the password to your Apple ID and any other applicable online services.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Is there a way I can solve this by resetting or do I need to go into the apple shop to get it sorted. Any help? Thanks.
