PVII Image Gallery - Multiple

I am using the PVII extension for Image galleries. I have a current page that is updated regularly and I would like to add multiple image galleries on the one page. But when I go to add a new gallery it only offers the possiblitiy of editing the current, and only, image gallery on that page.
Is it possible to have more than one gallery on a single page?
If so, how do you crewate a new one without altering the one which already exists?
Thanks, in advance.
M

I do not use PVII, and it would be best if you ask them if it is possible to do this with their product.
But having said that, you could use fireworks or one of the other extensions from the dreamwever exchange to do this, as there would then be no code conflict.

  • PVII Image Gallery Question

    Hi,
    Just purchased Image Gallery Magic. Since it's overwhelmingly
    praised on this forum, I am hoping someone here can quickly help me
    with a couple problems. First - here's the link:
    www.intelligentbydesigngraphics.com/transcendingtime/weddings.html
    Questions:
    1) I've inserted the gallery into an existing site that has a
    black background. There must be a way to change the background
    color of the thumbnail panel to something other than white, but
    how?
    2) As you roll your mouse over the thumbnail panel number
    boxes they get smaller, why and how do I fix it?
    Thanks in advance for any advice!
    P.S. I am a novice, so please take that into consideration
    before replying! ;)

    Can you post this on the PVII support forums?

  • OT: New Image Gallery

    For those who have not see the new PVII Image Gallery Magic
    extension in
    action, take a look here -
    http://www.wildimages.biz
    It's based on a KeyLime Page Pack from PVII - I think the two
    go together
    nicely.
    What you see there is an out of the box IGM gallery, and a
    gently modified
    KeyLime layout....
    By the way, this is a site I have recently uploaded for my
    brother and
    sister-in-law.

  • ANN: Image Gallery Magic 2 Released

    The Ultimate Dreamweaver Image Gallery Builder is here.
    Image Gallery Magic 2 literally brings your images to life with smooth cross-fading, snappy glides, or elegant Ken Burns style pan and zoom effects. IGM 2 utilizes HTML5, CSS level 3 and advanced PVII DOM Scripting to deliver near broadcast-quality animation that does your images proud. IGM2 is programmed from the ground up by PVII and neither uses, requires, nor is limited by any third-party script libraries. IGM2 installs into Dreamweaver, giving you a fully automated graphical user interface from which you can create and manage your galleries.
    Beyond the marketing talk, we are sure you'll agree that the examples speak for themselves.

    Same procedure but hit SHIFT instead of CTRL.
    Actually, it's right click or ctrl click, same as windows.

  • Creating an image gallery

    Hi all,
    I am trying to work out how to create an image gallery on a
    page whereby there is a set of thumbnails to the side and the
    relevant large image opens adjacent to the thumbnails when they are
    moused over.
    I have done this using the hide/show layers function but the
    output appears incosistently in different browsers and/or window
    sizes. I had in mind some adaptation of the "swap image" behaviour
    that would open the swap in a different position? Or alternatively
    making the layers approach display consistently?
    The layers version of the page can be
    viewed
    here
    Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated,
    thanks in advance,
    Graham

  • Image Gallery in a tabbed panel

    This seems to be an intermittent issue for me (comes & goes). But, when placing an image gallery in a tabbed panel if I select multiple photos to add (at once) it will expand the tab out to 70 thousand or so pixels wide but, if I add photos 1 at a time it seems to work just fine.
    ( I am using the add images... folder to add images )

  • Image gallery issue

    If a mod could delete my other post as I am quite far on from that and now having different issues.  Thanks.
    I am really stuck.  I will try my best to explain things clearly.  I am making an image gallery and I got the code from this gallery here.
    http://www.flashmo.com/preview/flashmo_122_3d_curve_gallery
    I made some changes to make it how I wanted it, nothing drastic though.  So now I have a nice gallery.
    Explaining what I am trying to do will better help explain things.  I am creating a modelling agency website.  The gallery I created above will display an individual image of every model in the agency (which it does).  Now when one of the model images is clicked, I then need it to load another image gallery which contains the complete set of images for that model, plus some of their information etc.
    The way I am approaching it at the moment is to create an individual image gallery for every model in its own fla file.  If say the first model is clicked (image 1) it will load the corresponding swf (1.swf).  I am not sure how good it is loading an swf into what I already have, but couldnt think of another way.  So now I have a seperate image gallery just to test things out, and I need to load it into my original image gallery.
    So, I will show the code for the first gallery (which displays the individual images of each model).  The important methods are p_click (which hides the first gallery and loads the external swf), and on_pic_loaded (which displays the external swf).
    I hope you understand what I am attempting, as I dont know if I have explained it right as my brain is going dead! (although I am liking the challenge).

    Current issues as the moment is firstly, I dont know if this is the best way to achieve what I want.  Maybe there is a better option someone could tell me about, but you have to remember that each image displayed here will have multiple images to go with it.
    In terms of what I am attempting above, I currently get
    Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: file:///C|/Users/Nick/Desktop/gallery/gallery.xml
        at _1_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()
    I assume its a url error so I changed all urls in both fla's to contain the whole url path.  Didnt seem to work though unless I missed something.
    Any advise on absolutely anything will be so appreciated.
    Many thanks
    Nick

    Sorry about that.  If you can check my history, I normally always thank people who have helped, and I was intending to go back on the last few to sort them out.  Just got my first job so it has been rather hectic and been stressing out to much.  Also, I do things slightly different to other people.  If I receive a correct answer (which I normally do thank), I tend not to actually reply but to thank instead, mainly because if I reply I am pushing unanswered questions further down the list and eventually out of view.  I will go back and sort out the thanks I owe.
    In terms of asking the mods, other forums I visit are normally moderated by the community, so I assumed that someone like yourself might be the moderator.
    I tottally understand what you are saying, and as I say, I am normally on top of this.  Will go back now and sort out the thanks.
    Sorry for the delay.

  • Embed Adobe Bridge CS5.5 web image gallery into Dreamweaver site

    Please help! I have been reading forums and trying to find the answers to my problem for days! I have created an image gallery in adobe bridge cs5.5 and have used an iframe to embed the gallery into my dreamweaver site. When I preview my site the gallery works, but after I've uploaded the gallery to the server the gallery no longer works. I have read multiple adobe forums with no success. Please help! Thanks!

    I'm not sure I completely understand your problem, because linking to a Lightroom gallery is actually very simple.
    Design your Lightroom gallery and upload it to your server. Just do it directly from LR. Let's suppose you have uploaded it into [your webroot folder]/galleries/test/.
    Don't rename any of the index files.
    Check it has actually worked, by visiting http://celestialapple.zxq.net/galleries/test/index.html with your browser.
    Create a link to the gallery on your home page. The source code for the link is <a href="/galleries/test/index.html">Other Photoshop gallery</a>
    And that's it already.
    Cheers,
    Michael

  • Content Managed Image Gallery

    I am looking to see if there is an image gallery available
    out there that I can use in DreamWeaver that will allow my client
    to upload images, add categories and captions and the likes. I know
    nothing of dynamic development so I guess I am looking for some
    type of extension, or 3rd party effort that I can embed into the
    site, yet maintain the site's identity. Sure sounds like I am
    asking for too much I know, but...
    Thanks in advance!

    Would depend entirely on the scope of the original term
    "Content Managed
    Image Gallery". I have used PVII's ImageGalleryMagic on my
    brother's site
    in both a STATIC and a DYNAMIC mode -
    http://www.wildimages.biz/w_galleries.php
    The Wild Horses are STATIC, and the rest are DYNAMIC (MySQL).
    The static stuff is easy as pie. The dynamic is custom-built,
    but not
    difficult. I used IGM from PVII and DataAssist from
    WebAssist. What I like
    about DataAssist is that the code is pretty simple to
    understand and to
    customize - that certainly wasn't my experience with ADDT.
    But each person
    will be different, you know? Let me hasten to say that DA
    alone will not do
    this for you - you cannot avoid getting into the code. A case
    in point
    would be the image uploading for the galleries....

  • Image gallery component

    Hi,
    I'm pretty new to CQ5, so forgive me if this question has already been answered/doesn't make sense.
    Basically, i'm working for a large travel company and we'd really like to show off the destinations we serve.  At the moment the only components we use are the basic image components which allows us to display one image at a time.
    What would be really useful would be for some sort of image gallery to be available which would allow us to show multiple images, similar to this.
    Is there some sort of solution built into CQ5 which can be modified, or, is it something which is going to have to be built from scratch by our developers?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.  We're using CQ5.5 5.5.0.20120220 Update 1
    Thanks,
    Ben

  • Image gallery from two tables

    I've created an library that stores image names by ID and an image gallery table that stores the values of up to 15 images by image ID. The data looks like this:
    ImageTable (id | name)
    1 | one.jpg
    2 | two.jpg
    3 | three.jpg
    4 | four.jpg
    5 | five.jpg
    6 | six.jpg
    Gallery Table (id | slide1 | slide2 imageID ... and so on to slide15)
    1 | 1 | 3 | 4 | null | null .... and so on to 15
    1 | 2 | 5 | 6 | null | null .... and so on to 15
    In this example the slide show 1(id1) would show one.jpg, three.jpg, and four.jpg
    Slide show 2 would show two.jpg, five.jpg, and six.jpg.
    If I pass a recordID (gallery.php?recordID=1) to the page I'm getting a perfect gallery recordset. Just one column comes in. I can't seem to figure out how to match that table row to the image table.
    I think the problem is in the Query. I've tried dozens of loop and join queries but I can't seem to get anything to work I want to build a list of image names like this (html omitted):
    if ($row_imgGalery['slide1'] == $row_imageTable['id']){
       echo $row_imageTable['name']; }
    if ($row_imgGalery['slide2'] == $row_imageTable['id']){
       echo $row_imageTable['name']; }
    if ($row_imgGalery['slide3'] == $row_imageTable['id']){
       echo $row_imageTable['name']; }
    // and so on
    The closest I have come is to get the first row to return the right value. From there on I get either nothing or the images in order. I'm probably going about this all wrong. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    I can see that I didn't explain myself very well. My Gallery table must have a unique ID for every gallery. 1 cant assign gallery 1 image 1 and then  image 3 later one because the Gallery table populates the gallery page. I need a slot for each image just the same as a contact table needs a slot for first name, last name, address, etc.... The image slots are no different that that except that they all refer to image id's. If there's a way for a single record to call up 15 variables without having 15 columns I'd be interested in seeing it.
    My image table will shortly contain about 2000 images. In a year it could contain 10,000. Each row in the image table contains the image ID, and a bunch of other data including descriptions, user ID for the person submitting the image and other things including metadata for the images. I've got the image upload and image data part of the system working perfectly. It's searchable by image type, user, date, photographer. It's beautiful. I can find any image in the library in seconds.
    I've created a form to populate the Gallery table that uses a scrollable, searchable image gallery. You can select up to 15 images for each gallery. All that is stored is the gallery id (primary key) date (date the gallery was created) user id (id of the person creating the gallery) Gallery Name (self explanatory) Gallery Description (a descriptive paragraph for the gallery) and slots for up to 15 images. At the end of the table is an approval field. Set approval to no and the gallery pages no longer appear in the public menu structure but administrators can view and edit the page. I've used this technique for hundreds of different data sets from contact managers to blogs.
    A simple Dreamweaver Master Detail page sets calls up the Gallery page by galleryID when a user clicks on a link. Originally I entered image names in the 15 available slots for images just to get things started. When using image names the gallery page works perfectly but there's no way to link to the other data.
    The gallery page displays all images in a 3 column by 5 row layout. A slide show of the images can be played full screen. Having less than 15 images in a gallery is not a problem because if the column contains a null nothing is displayed on the page.
    I can't be inserting Gallery ID's into the image records because one image may be used in multiple galleries. I don't want to insert all of the data from the Image table into the Gallery page because that's a bunch of redundant data. All that needs to happen is that the gallery slide 1 column needs to link to the same image id in the image table so I can retrieve and display the rest of the data. The only way that I can seem to make this work is to write up fifteen separate queries. There's got to be a simpler way to have gallery slide1 point to an image id and call up the fields and so on.
    Because of a deadline I wrote 15 separate queries and the system works just fine. There's way more code than is necessary, but it works just fine. Every possible available  image slot needed it's own query. If someone has an idea of how to simplify this please let me know. I'm going to go and soak my hands now. I've been typing code for 3 hours straight.
    Here's my code that's working: (the html and other fields are omitted for clarity)
    <li>
    <?php
    $slide1 = $row_pageRS['img1ID'];
    $img1 = mysql_query("select * FROM imageLog WHERE id = $slide1");
    if (mysql_num_rows($img1) > 0)
    { while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($img1))
        echo $row['imageName']; }
    ?>
    </li>
    <li>
    <?php
    $slide2 = $row_pageRS['img2ID'];
    $img2 = mysql_query("select * FROM imageLog WHERE id = $slide2");
    if (mysql_num_rows($img2) > 0)
    { while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($img1))
        echo $row['imageName']; }
    ?>
    </li>
    And so on until I get to slide 15.

  • Help changing image using multiple links

    Hello, I need help!
    How do I change a single image within a page, using multiple link words?
    I've seen this done all over, but can't figure this out! HELP!
    I am trying to have a single image, that will change as the different words are clicked on.
    This has got to be sooo simple!
    I'm new to CS4.

    Four Level's Light box will do this:

    Kaosweaver has several Gallery extensions that may do what you need. (Search the Gallery)

    Project Seven's Image Gallery Magic works very well:

    If you know how to work with code, JQuery Galleries are another option to consider:
