Python 2.5 and other libraries lost after n900 fla...

Could someone help me to solve this problem with my device? I have flashed my device fw and emmc after its brick. The flashing seemed successfully, but when i try to install some apps like fm radio it returns an error message in which inform me that some installation packages are lost like python2.5. How could solve this and have a functional device again?
please, help me.

if i try to install pygt4 it returns an error message informing me that pytho 2.5 and other lybraries are missed. So i have added maemo extras testing and i have solved. now i can install apps without error message. But i know that extra testing is not safe. i haven't it on my device before tha flasher and i can install all the apps without problems, so i ask what happened. i think i have missed something during the flasher or the nokia have introduced a restriction considering that the ajjara device is new...let me know..thank you

  • Libm.so.1 and other libraries, missing after install

I'm running into problems because libm.so.1 and some other libraries are missing after install.
    - Solaris 8
    - Not an LD_LIBRARY_PATH issue, I did a full FIND and it did not show up.
Any information as to why these libraries may have gone missing and what I might do to get around this problem would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    -Ken

Cause: The installation which caused this symptomology was based on a boot from a downloaded ISO designated "Installation CD" (Solaris 8). Booting from, and installing based on this CD caused a incomplete installation, with many libraries missing.
Solution: Just by chance, on a re-installation attempt I booted from 'Software 1 of 2 CD" (Solaris 8). Installation based this boot yielded a complete installation - no libraries missing.
    Thanks for the suggestions,

  • Where did project and event libraries go after installing mavericks? How to restore?

Recently installed Mavericks.  Now both the event and project libraries are blank.  How can they be restored?

Are you referring to iPhoto or iMovie?  If it's iPhoto then what version of iPhoto are you running?  Have you updated to iPhoto 9.5? If so what version did you have previously?
As a first attempt try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database, followed by Option #1 if needed.
    Can't help you with iMovie.

  • Lost all photos and other problems followed after upgrade to iphoto 6

All of my photos disappeared while creating a calendar in iphoto 6. I was finally able to find them in the trash can???? After loading them back into my library the photos have shrunk. I shoot with an 8 megapixel camera, and now I can't enlarge at all. How can I recreate my original library. Very frustrated with latest release.
    Any suggestions?
    Bill

The new structure organizes photos into Originals and Modified folders. There is a third folder called Data that contains thumbnails created for the photos (smaller pictures used for better performance). These three are essential for iPhoto 6 to work.
Each folder contains a folder for each year (a year folder is created if you have even one photo from that year, e.g. a photo from 4/3/2004 will create a folder called "2004" and any other photos from that year will then be placed within it.
Every import creates a serially numbered Roll folder within the year folder. So if you import photos including IMG_234.jpg from 4/3/2004, for example, the location of IMG_234.jpg will be:
    iPhoto Library/Originals/2004/Roll 1/IMG_234.jpg
And Roll 1 will have other photos imported in the same session. If you modify the photo within iPhoto (enhance, retouch, etc), the modified copy will exist in:
    iPhoto Library/Modified/2004/Roll 1/IMG_234.jpg
The Data folder will contain a thumbnail for the image in the same path as the Originals:
    iPhoto Library/Data/2004/Roll 1/IMG_234.jpg
So inside the iPhoto Library folder, you will see some files and those three folders with their sub-structure folders. Other things within the top level of the iPhoto Library folder, are leftovers from the previous structure - such as a folder called "2004" or "2005" that ISN'T inside Originals, Data, or Modified folders.
PhillyPhan's advice is sage. Don't mess with the insides of the iPhoto Library. However, I did verify on my own system after I upgraded, that year folders at the top level of the iPhoto Library are from previous versions of iPhoto. So you could move those, and those only, to a separate folder on your HD. I moved those off to a DVD-ROM and haven't seen problems since.
Remember: Don't touch any files, and don't touch anything within Data, Originals, and Modified folders.

  • Date and Time and others not working after 10.5.6- its driving me bonkers

Recently, after booting my computer and logging in (I am the sole user and it auto logs in).
Well only 3 things show up in the upper right menu bar:
Spotlight, and two 3rd party items, I added (connect360 and bootchamp)
But airport and Date and Time do not sow up at all. When I go to System preferences I see that things are all screwed up: the box that says "show date and time in menu bar" is always unchecked. If I recheck it will revert the next time I open up the preference pane. Another odd this is it that it lets me click the boxes even when the padlock is locked.
Now, I can log out and then log back in, and it loads everything correctly. But really its stuff like this that drives me bonkers. Anyone have a similar problem or a solution?
I am going to try and disable auto-login and see if it works the first time when I login. If it works it will be better than right now but, it will still irritate me.
    Thanks in advance

You might try moving the apple.com.systempreferences.plist (in the Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences folder) to the desktop and restarting or log-out/log-in.
If it doesn’t help, you can move the .plist file back into the Preferences folder, replacing the new one it created to restore your original settings.

  • ITunes and other programs hang after starting...

    Hello everyone,
    Programs effected:
    iPhoto
    Adobe Acrobat
iTunes (Only when I open the iTunes Store)
    Problem:
After about a minute, the program will hang and become unresponsive (pinwheel) but will not crash. I have to shutdown the program manually. The program  will cause my CPU to max out until I force-quit it.
    Any ideas for further diagnosis?

  • Desktop (and other icons) change after Skype updat...

When I updated Skype to version 7.5 yesterday, some of my desktop and taskbar (also Start Menu) icons immediately disappeared, only to be replaced with standard Windows icons. This involved mostly Microsoft and Adobe programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat, but also Google Earth and QuickTime Player.
I carried out a Icon cache rebuild, but this did not restore the original icons, resulting instead in standard .exe icons or blank (i.e. white) icons. When I tried to change the icon for these programs, I got messages similar to this one (for Adobe Reader):
    Windows cannot find file %SystemRoot%\Installer{AC76BA86-7AD7-1033-7B44-AC0F074E4100}\SC_Reader.ico.
Since then I've tried several system restores, and while these have always restored my icons, Skype then no longer works. I've also uninstalled Skype (which was a battle in itself!) and reinstalled the latest version, but the icon problem has returned. The generic icons DO open the programs without problems, but I cannot easily distinguish between the various Microsoft Office applications and Adobe programs.
As things currently stand, I can have either a working Skype or my desktop (taskbar etc.) icons, but not both. There must be some way around this. I am sure that Windows Installer is in some way involved, but can't undertand how updating or deleting Skype could affect it.

The issue is still related to the Windows installer.   If you keep Windows up-to-date it should resolve any Windows installer issues with updates that came out after Aug 2014 (unless this a new Windows update issue).  A Windows update at that time create a similar issue due to upgrading the Windows Installer then resolved them in later patches.   The only way to notice the issue was to install any programs that utilized the Windows installer (like Skype).  Some people uninstalled the update but it was a temporary fix (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2918614).  So either the issue you are having is related to that Windows update or possibly a newer one.
You can try this in case it helps but it's generally for normal shortcuts.
    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/49819-icon-cache-rebuild.html
If that doesn't help the only way to repair registered shortcuts automatically is to perform a repair install of the applications that are affected (via add/remove programs or programs and features in the control panel).  This will restore the individual package to icon association that broke.  Again these advertised shortcuts are tied to the Windows installer and registry.  When you create a shortcut to the exe of a program (like msword.exe) it won't have this type of problem and will still display the normal shortcut even if you don't perform a repair of the application.  If you still want to repair the issue a repair install would be best.
The latest version for download from Skype is still 7.5.x.102
    Skype 7.5 (exe version)

I have not seen such behavior with any app. Do you know which exact app was that induced such behavior?
    1. Try deleting that particular app and reinstalling either over the air or in iTunes and then sync
    2. Could be a good idea to sync the phone before installing that particular app so that you can revert to your last backup if anything goes wrong again
    3. Hard resetting the phone does not mess up the order of your apps
    Hope this helps.

  • Logic folder corrupted and all projects lost (after update onto 10.0.6 most likely), is there anyway to restore them?

    Hi,
Has anyone experienced Logic Pro X's Logic folder corruption after update onto 10.0.6 (released 9.1.2014)? All my projects were disappeared from the folder and cannot find them anywhere with disc recovery tools, naturally no backups for the projects and set up Time Machine  few days after 10.0.6 update (quite nice!) and did not touch Logic for month or so and now all projects gone!
I would appreciate any help to get those recovered and yes the importance of backupping the projects is now finally understood by the hard way.
    Thx,
    Supercomp1

Will try this approach provided by

  • Mail and much more lost after software updates

Background - I upgraded from G4 with 10.3.9 to Mac Pro 1.1 with 10.4.7 one week ago.
When I was working on my machine Saturday, I got a software update box. I clicked the button to run the various software updates, and left. When I came to work this morning, I opened Firefox and found all my bookmarks gone. Weird. I opened Mail to check on emails, and it gave me the "this is how you set up your account" box.
Bottom line: I have lost all my email (hundreds of messages, dozens of mailboxes, very bad) and Firefox bookmarks (okay, not so dire, but very annoying).
Question: Why did it do this? What did I do to cause this? Why, Lord, why???
    Thanks,
    laurieb
    Mac Pro 1.1   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

Maybe I didn't phrase the question clearly. Why did the simple online update (I don't know all what was updated; there's no log to show what was done...) basically zero out/reset all my applications. My fonts are gone as well.
I do still have my working docs as they were on different hard drive from the system and applications. I have email, Firefox bookmarks, fonts, etc. on my old machine, so in a sense, all I lost were 5 days worth of emails and time spent pulling my hair out.
I just want to know what I might have done wrong in the first place to cause this. Just don't want to do it again.
    thanks,

  • Pixel artifacts and other graphical irregularities after install

    Hello all.
Just did an archive and install of Leopard, and everything seems to be working right--except there are odd graphical irregularities popping up in windows.
An example of what I'm talking about is here:
    http://just-in.org/etc/artifacts.png
You'll see two lines of irregular pixels. These are not on the screen, but rather attached to the window itself. When I move the window around the pixels move with the window.
Has anyone else ran into this? Normally I'd say this is a driver problem, but since OSX has the latest driver I'm kind of stuck.

This is a screen shot from the main display on my MBP. If I remember correctly, when I have my external display plugged in (snugly), it also occurs on that display. Moreover, I think if it were a hardware issue, then it would not show up in a screen shot. I know what loose video cable connections look like (at least from the DVI-out port) and this is not what they look like. The distortions also follow the window and have a tendency to appear/change/disappear if there is a redraw of the window.
There are also other redraw errors occurring--random distortions of windows and icons that usually fix themselves when redrawn.
In short, to me it appears to be a graphics driver/graphics card corruption problem. I am considering doing a complete clean install to see if that changes anything. Fortunately I make more backups than I know what to do with, so that's an option.
It might also have something to do with the heat generated by the computer. I've noticed that when the MBP is cool, the lines tend not to appear. When it heats up, however, the lines tend to appear more often.
Further, I have been experiencing random freezes with Leopard, which may or may not be connected to this issue.
On a side note, I've basically kept the same home folder since OS X 10.0 and I've only reinstalled OS X one or two times in the past 5 or 6 years. Who knows what corruptions I am bringing with me through all these OSes and machines!
