We have Queuing printer model Q-MATIC TP3115 in one of our branches connected to Cisco 3560 Switch and its flapping so I did some changes on the switch port.
Below is the switch port configuration before change and after but still the printer is flapping , can anyone help with this matter if you work with the same issue before.

Off stage printing

I have a director movie from which I wish to print. I have
created the image I wish to print, which is made up of several
sprites, and put a border sprite around this. What I wish to be
able to do is to print this group of sprites from off stage. The
user should never see them appear on screen. I have previously used
code along the lines of:
stageImage = (the stage).image
spriteImage = stageImage.crop(sprite(83).rect)
member("printimage").image = spriteImage
to take a section of the stage and store it as a cast member
which I can then print. However because I want my section to be
taken from offstage I am unsure how to do it. I have tried taking
using the sprite(83).rect to define the image but this doesn't
work.
Any help will be most appreciated.

I don't think you should be any different than the rest of us
and escape the
hassle of assembling printable pages using Print-O-matic;)
But Print-O-matic is the way to go hands down.

HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one C310a printer, Solution Center will not stay installed.

It seems lately, past month or so, that the HP Solution Center keeps failing and needs to be reinstalled. I get a message which says:" HP Solution Center cannot run because your device installation is not complete." followed by a list of steps to take to remedy the situation, which do not work. I have to uninstall and reinstall the printer and then it will work, but after I shut the computer down for the day or run a virus scan (PC Matic) the problem returns. Can anybody help me?

If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies.

You might have Maintained the vendors email address in the vendor master.
And also you have dome some setting for out put conditons for email in MN04
please check if yes just remove that (if you don't want mail to be sent)

Print page option will not stay set

On this vi, go to vi Properties page for Printing.
The checkbox at the bottom is the one I want set. "Auto matically print front panel...."
I check the box. I save the vi. The box is no longer checked!!
Why?
I want to make this happen. I must make this happen.
This vi is not finished, but is good enough to demonstrate the issue.

Interesting. This behavior looks like a bug. It's still there in 8.0.1.
As an alternative, you can use the "Auto Logging->Print at Finish" property for the VI, like this:
(Obviously, you want to change the node to "write" and wire in a Boolean constant.)

Printing all sprites in an LDM, including those outside the crop?

Thanks for all the help so far. I’m not sure where to
begin on this one…
I’ve got a cropped LDM sprite which I’m
essentially treating as a document object. The user can drag
various items into the LDM, arrange those items, then hopefully
print. The “document” is scrolled by shuffling the
sprites within the LDM. At some point the user will want to print
the document which means I must print all sprites in the LDM, not
just those that happen to be showing on stage at the current scroll
position. At first glance I thought I might be able to switch the
framing property from crop to scale then print the stage using
Print-O-Matic, unfortunately it appears the only playback property
of an LDM that can be tested or set is the scriptEnable property.
If I were using an MIAW instead of an LDM I could easily scale the
drawRect but MIAWs introduce far more problems in this instance
than they solve. Anyone have an idea for an approach?
PS: I forgot to mention that the LDM sprites may be rotated
as well as scaled. This prevents a simple interation using
drawPicture from being a solution. Also, the majority of sprite
members are vector based SWFs

If you are dragging items into the LDM, then I assume that
the Stage shares a cast with the LDM. In this case is there any
reason why it must be an LDM? Why not use a filmLoop? Here's a neat
trick:
vFilmLoop = member(5)
new(#filmLoop, vFilmLoop)
vFilmLoop.media = the score
And conversely:
the score = vFilmLoop.media
You could use this to place the items inside the filmLoop, so
that you can use its rect to crop the view port, and then make the
Stage big enough to show all the items in the filmLoop, set the
score to the media of the filmLoop, and print the Stage. As soon as
you've done that, you restore the original score, and hey presto,
your filmLoop is back in its view port again.

Printing from FLASH without "Print dialog Box" Pop-up window?

hi guys,
i got a flash + OSX question, maybe someone can help me,
i'm working on a Adobe Flash (Flash version 9, actionScript
3) project, running on a MacOS X 10.4, on a core2duo iMac, it is
connected to a printer (Xerox Phaser 6360).
- the flash will be displayed in full screen.
- it is a "create your own postcard- &- print it out"
flash-based multimedia project.
- so Flash will need to print stuff.
issue is:
- everytime when something need to be printed, macOS X will
prompt a "Print Box" pop-up window say Cancel or Print (see my jpeg
below).
- so it might overlap on top of my Flash project, which is
running full screen (so having the pop-up window overlapping my
flash is no good).
so i need a solution to avoid this, any idea?
what i can think of are:
A- is there a way to avoid/by-pass this step? meaning a way
not to show this?
or
B- or is there a shareware/way to "auto-click RETURN button"
so even this screen appear it will be "auto-click" away.
or ..C?
i knew there is a Plug-in (or Xtra) for Macromedia Director
called: Print-o-matic,

Printing Problems (Brother HL2140 under XFCE)

I can't get my printer to work under Arch (I'm using XFCE). It works under Ubuntu fine, and it used to work under Arch before I did a clean install (a couple weeks ago). I've spent too many hours trying to figure this out. Can someone help please? (I've already tried everything on the Arch wiki page for the hl2140 printer.)
I first installed these packages:
cups
brother-hl2140
system-config-printer
Then I tried installing a bunch of other "cups" packages.
After that, I installed these:
hplip
brother-lpr-drivers-common
brother-lpr-drivers-laser1
brother-cups-wrapper-common
brother-cups-wrapper-extra
brother-cups-wrapper-laser1
Output of lsusb:

I'm using system-config-printer. When I try to add the printer, it starts to search for drivers and then crashes. (I run system-config-printer with sudo. I've tried adding my home user to lp and a bunch of other groups, but I can't figure out which one will let me configure printers). Here's the output when it crashes:

Fail. So I tried using hp-setup, but it doesn't find anything, even though system-config-printer and lsusb do:

I've also tried using the openprinting driver (which worked before I reinstalled Arch). Here's my steps:

Lol wow I figured it out. I was using wget instead of curl. I was using wget -o, which just makes an output log. No wonder cups couldn't use it! Lol I'm finding this way too hilarious that after all that work, it was that little command.

No advanced features available in printing panel

Hi All,
I have a requirement to develop the custom print Quote Report. When i review the standard pring quote report ,I found a call like <?call-template:TermsTemplate?>.
This statment itself is getting all the Terms and Conditions for that report. when i looked in the ASOPRTXSL.xsl, I see the below statement

Ofcourse you can do this by specifing system parameters like DESTYPE=Printer and DESNAME=PrinterName
Replace PrinterName with you printer name

I'm fairly new to Oracle Quoting and trying to get familiar with it. I have a few questions and would appreciate if anyone answers them
1) We have a requirement to customize the Print Quote report. I searched these forums and found that this report can be defined either as a XML Publisher report or an Oracle Reports report depending on a profile option. Can you please let me know what the name of the profile option is?
2) When I select the 'Print Quote' option from the Actions drop down in the quoting page and click Submit I get the report printed and see the following URL in my browser.

No, there is no conc program getting called, you can directly call a report in a browser window, Oracle reports server will execute the report and send the HTTP response to the browser.4) If we want to customize the jsp pages can you please let me know the steps involved in making the customizations and testing them.

Printing list view in ical

I use mail and ical for everything now. Everything is fine except When I want to print the "list view" which shows my “to dos”. It displays the URL the “do to” is attached to in mail. I use notes often in mail and enter to dos in the notes so they will have URL links. The link only becomes a nuisance when I want to print, otherwise it’s very useful.
Why would the long URL paths display when in print view???!!!!! It doesn’t make any sense.
Is there anything I can do?

There is no event list option on iCal like the one on the iPhone.
That number means that you have an event invitation. Use iCal>View>Show Notifications to choose what to do with the notification.
