Hi,
Try to de register and register your queue from SXMB_ADM .
Also, try deleting the entry in the queue by double clicking on the Queue ID in SXMB_MONI and restarting your message.

R&R Queue Demon is hanging in status STOPPING

Hi folks,
I'm currently facing a problem I don't seem to cope with so I hope you may be able to help me. Here we go:
I implemented the SAP CRM Groupware Integration into a CRM 5.0 SP6 system. At first it worked quite well.
But today I encountered a problem with the R&R Queue Demon (tranaction SMOHQUEUE):
I wanted to stop and restart the demon by hitting the corresponding buttons "stop queue demon" and then "start queue demon". But I did not get that far.
Once I pressed "stop queue demon" and then the "refresh" button, the queue demon seems to be stuck in status STOPPING. And I don't seem to find a way to get the demon into status HOLD in order to be able to start it once again. It does not react to my input (i.e. pressing the two buttons I mentioned above).
So when I press "stop queue demon", it says "stopping queue demon successful. press refresh", but when I press "refresh", it's still in status STOPPING.
And when I press "start queue demon", it says "starting queue demon not necessary. already started." which is unfortunately not reflected in the status of the queue demon.
So what can I do to get the demon into status RUNNING again? Is there a way to reset the demon without having to restart the entire server?

Hi all,
I was able to solve this problem by deleting a lock entry (transaction SM12) in client 000 which seemed to have blocked the queue demon as described above. After deleting this entry the queue demon switched back to status HOLD and could be restarted immediately. Now it's running again.
But usually you should not delete any lock entries without knowing exactly what it's all about.
I hope this is helpful for others facing the same problem.

Hyper-v virtual machine management in status stopping

Hello,
I had a problem with one vm showing status backing up.
I read on TechNet that restarting the hyper-v virtual machine management service would solve the problem.
I have tried to shutdown the service but it now says status stopping...
How long time does it take to shutdown the service? Is there anything I can do to hurry it up?
ps. I have production vm running on the host that I can't take down...

I also tested in my lab to disable that service forcibly ,then I found that it will leads the VMs to unexpected shutdown .
Based on this ,it seems that restarting the host is necessary .

BW Queue Status Stopped: SXMB_MONI

Hi
I am passing data from XI to BW into a Data Source via Inbound Proxy. The problem is for some of my messages I get the status as Green Flag(Queue Status- Stop)in SXMB_MONI.
That means all those Messages are not posted to Data source even though they are successfully transferred from XI.
If I manually try to restart them. It says that the message are already scheduled in Queue. But in Queue there is no entry.
Should I regenerate my proxy? Even though out of 10 I still have 6 successful Messages and rest 4 as Queue status stopped.
Can anyone suggest what can be the problem?

is there any trasaction in BW where you can register your Queues. somthing like sxmb_Adm--> register Queues...
B'cos this was the same problem that i encountered when i was using another client(105) in XI-IS when executing server proxies. Then the queues in the client system were not registered.
so check if there is any place in BW system where you can register the queues.

SAP Work Manager status STOPPED in SCC

Hi All,
We have installed and deployed SAP Work Manager 6.0 on SMP 2.3. In the SCC it shows the app was registered or started successfully, however the Agentry instance server status is STOPPED. The Task Manager shows the Agentry Server is running, and can actually accessed from ATE.
The problem is we can't see anything in any of the other tabs. The tab Configurations is blank and we are not able to see or maintain any settings and/or parameters. The other tabs are also blank, for example Logs is not pulling in the data from the log files. See screenshots below.
The startup.log is also noit giving me any indications or errors. See also below.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? And how this can be resolved?

We installed SP04, but we are still experiencing the same issue. We even went as far as deleting and re-deploying the app.
Again it shows the app registered successfully:
On the General tab it still shows status STOPPED:
The other tabs don't show anything, e.g. Configurations or Logs:
After restarting SMP the node completely disappears:

Dear supprot,
We have 3 application servers to our production server.
App1 and App3 are working fine. when i am trying to start App2
J2ee server0 for the same server is getting stopped.
at that time "r3trans -d" is also taking lots of time on all the servers but giving RC 000.
when i will stop the app2 application server again "r3trans -d" status is
coming fast with 0000 for remaining servers and at that time everything is working fine.
please kindly help me to resolve this problem.

Hello,
Refer to the log files in the instance work directory for a clue why the server node does not start. Usually the files you are interested in are:
dev_serverX
std_serverX.out
dev_disp
If you share these files I could help you identify and fix the problem.

VM stays in Status Stopping after live migration failed/was canceled

I have a hyper-v Cluster running on Windows 2012 r2. I tried a live Migration from one node of Cluster to another node of the same Cluster. It got stuck by around 65% (if remembered correctly). After 45 minutes nothing has changed so I canceled the Job in
the Failover Cluster Manager. The VM went into a Status of "Stopping". After 5 hours it is still in Status "stopping". I haven't found any Information on why it got stuck on the 65% and have just found the error message that the Job got
canceled using Failover Cluster Manager events. But nothing saying why it stays in "Stopping" Status. Searched the Internet but I have Trouble finding anything related to the issue I see.
Any ideas?

Data servers connection status -stopped

Hello all,
I am new to MII application and i am hoping i could get some help form experts here. I am trying to figure out (from basis side) why the connections for couple of data sources are "stopped" status. we are in 12.x version and checked the JDBC drivers ,they all look deployed. Not exactly sure where else to look, ..if anyone could give me some direction for trouble shooting that willl be great.

1. First ist to ensure you get the right JDBC - you can search it in Internet; if you are very sure then
2. check if your Connector is IDBC, connector type SQL and the enable is checked and save.
(normally status "stopped" is because the enable is not checked and saved. If status "error" normally configuration error)
3. JDBC driver configuration for SQL 2005/2008 is com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver (oracle is oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver)
4. the URL is jdbc:sqlserver://<serverName>:<PortID>;DatabaseName=<DatabaseName> (for both SQL 2005/2008)
and oracle is jdbc:oracle:thin:@<serverName>:<portID>:<DBName>
5. If oracle , in ValidationQuery, leave it blank
6. User Name (should not have /)
Make sure status is running, and then I can show you what you need to do to make sure it is 100% running.

Why is my HP Deskjet 970C Print Queue Status "Stopped" and won't change?

I recently installed 10.5 Leopard. Hooked up my old HP-970C Deskjet. Used the link: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/MacOSX/foomatic to get the new HP Driver as recommended. Set up printer with this driver.
Each time the print command is given (Word Doc or .pdf file) nothing happens. The job is shown in the Print Queue with the Status says "Stopped." Clicking the resume button does not start the printer. Twice more and I get a message that says "Operation Could not be completed. client-error-not-possible."
Any thoughts on how to work around this?

The short answer is that you have an older HP printer, and have just been bitten by HP's abandonment of older printers on both Leopard and Vista.
The foomatic drivers should work, though; I used foomatic drivers on my old HP MFD for years. They gave better output than the ones HP shipped, and actually worked in Leopard. I put the HP onto a machine running XP because scanning didn't work anymore on either Vista or Leopard and HP had no intention of fixing it.
When I see the error you quoted, there are usually three possible causes:
1 the printer itself has a hardware problem. The fix for that is to buy a new printer, it's not economic to repair a DJ970.
2 the HP drivers are present on the system and are interfering. The fix for that is to remove the HP drivers and just have the foomatic drivers installed.
3 the USB cable is bad or loose. The fix for that is to get a new USB cable and make sure that it is securely plugged in.

Queue status stopped

Hi All,
I am trying a file to file scenario. In SXMB_MONI the message status is "scheduled" and the queue status is "stopped".
I have tried deregistering and registering the queue.
i also tired to see the error in by double clicking on the queue ID it shows SYSFAIL. when i double click on SYSFAIL it shows a message "XI ERROR Update XI Cache Queue Stopped". for this i have also refreshed the cache. but nothing seems to help.
Anyone having a clue?

1. Try restarting J2EE stack.
2. One of the reason may be database overflow. In this case also, restart is required.
3. Check if XIAPPLUSER & XIAFUSER are locked. Also retype the password and try.

Q.Status Stopped

Hi all,
We are doing RFC->XI(BPM)->File scenarios.
When we test the scenario with the same input and
sometimes it works fine. But in some case we
are getting a "Scheduled" status in the 'Monitor for
processed XML messages(sxmb_moni)' .
Ex if we test 10 times with same input 6 will work fine
but the other 4 will be 'scheduled'.
The Q.Status is stopped. While trying to restart it
is saying that it is already scheduled.
How long it will remain in the 'scheduled' status ?
What is the reason for this ?
Can anyone help.

1.For the message to be picked up by the communication channel, the channel should be associated with a sender agreement. Mere creation of a communication channel doesnt ensure the message to be polled and picked up by the adapter. The message reaches the adapter in its native message format. As the communication in SAP XI happens in XI message format, a module inside the adapter converts the message in native format into XI message format.
2.     During this process, a message ID is generated for the message. To build the XI header (sender agreement details like the sender system, sender message interface and the interface namespace) the details are fetched by performing a CPA lookup(collaboration-partner-agreement are the configuration object details that have been created using the configuration time. The details are updated into the runtime cache when you activate the Configuration objects in Integration builder Configuration time. This cache is referred to as CPA cache).
3.     This message is then sent to module processor for further processing. During the process of sending the message to module processor, the message Application attempting to send an XI message asynchronously using connection AFW is logged.
4.     The module processor performs steps like structure conversion, communication channel specific conversions (that have been specified in the module tab of the adapter channel). These conversion modules are executed in the same sequence as mention in the communication channel.
5.     After the successful execution of the conversion modules, the appropriate module (call SAP adapter module) of the module processor is called which will send this message for persistent storage. This message is put into the Send Queue of the messaging system for further processing. Messages like <b>Message trying to put into the send Queue and Message successfully put into the queue</b> are logged during this process. A confirmation message (success/ failure) is sent back to the sender application at this stage. This confirmation message is used by the channel to perform various steps like deleting the file that has a processing mode as delete.
6.     The message that has been put in the Send Queue has to be picked up and sent to the Integration Engine. The Adapter Engine and XI Integration server use XI Adapter for internal communication purposes. So the XI Adapter picks up message from the send queue and parses the XI message. In this process, the status of the message is set to DLNG and. Messages like The message was successfully retrieved from the send queue and message status set to DLNGare logged.
7.     The XI adapter performs a SLD look up (System landscape Directory) to find the Integration server with which the Adapter framework has register itself.
8.     On successful SLD look up, the message is sent via HTTP to the XI IS pipeline, using the pipeline URL (http://hostname:abap-httpport/sap/xi/engine?type=entry). . If this is successful, a message The message was successfully transmitted to endpoint http://hostname:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW is logged and the message statues is set to DLVD means message has been successfully delivered to the endpoint( XI IS in this case)

Help! One error printing and now all print jobs status = STOPPED.

I work in a big corporation with 99.99% PCs. I've been printing to networked printers here under Leopard without problem for a long time now. I recently submitted a print job to a HP printer and all it printed was:
Error: invalidfont
OFFENDING COMMAND: definefont

/HSRYIE+ArialNarrow-Italic
However, since that moment I have been unable to print anything irrespective of what printer I choose (HP, Xerox etc). Every time I start a job it immediately shows with a status of STOPPED in the printer window. Other people continue printing to these printers just fine, snickering at my Mac along the way .
Any ideas??

Restarting doesn't fix this. Repairing permissions doesn't fix this. Removing and reinstalling the printer doesn't fix this.

Fuji Xerox printer working, then not! print status 'stopped'

I hope someone can help me...
-Had real difficulty getting printer to work. Finally installed drivers from set up disc and all was fine
-2 months working without an issue til today. when trying to print 'stopped' was the status of all jobs
-removed driver, rebooted computer, tried to print, printer was recognized and driver selected automatically, and same thing happened.
-tried forcing the print with ' hold' 'resume' 'pause' and so on to no avail
-removed driver, re-loaded drivers from setup disc and rebooted computer
-tried manually selecting driver from system preferences and printing... same result. I did notice once when I tried hitting 'hold' and then 'resume' that a little message flashed up for a moment next to the picture of the printer under where it says 'Printer Ready' something about opening raster file failed or some such?
I've looked at several postings here and tried many of the suggestions such as disconnecting everything and rebooting etc, but I'm stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oracle Grid Control 11.1 - emctl status/stop oms returns nothing

This is my first post, so please be gentle.
I'm attempting to stop OMS or at least return a status when using 'emctl' and nothing appears to be happening.
When I run the following, 'emctl status oms', the below is returned:
[oracle@ ~]$ emctl status oms

It would usually say OEM is online (which the interface is up and running). I attempted to stop it (emctl stop oms) and the same is returned.
I exported the following (which I never had to do before to stop/status/start OEM):
[oracle@ ~]$ export ORACLE_HOME=/apps/oracle/Middleware/oms11g
[oracle@ ~]$ export PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:$PATH
[oracle@ ~]$ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib
And it still doesn't work.
Any advice would be great.

Have a look at log and trace files in directory .../gc_inst/em/EMGC_OMS<n>/sysman/log, including emctl.log and emoms.log*, for clues.
