I came across to seen the following code in a smartform

Here what is Q represent or signify ?

In Text general attribute, there is an editor button.
If you click on that button,you can see the editor similiar to sapscript .
Click on Insert button , the menu Insert -> symbols will become active.
There you will get the list

    i got the soluction
    here is the steps of rupee symbol in smartform.
    Step:- 1 Download Rupee Font From [http://blog.foradian.com/font-with-indian-rupee-symbol-download-and-us|http://blog.foradian.com/font-with-indian-rupee-symbol-download-and-us]
    Step:- 2 Open T-CODE SE73
    Step:- 3 Install True Type Font And Give Name To Font
    After sussfully instalation you can use that forn in your smartstyle and u can use that symbole
    NOTE:- To Insert Rupee symbole You Have To Press ` Button Near To 1 Key
    Soem Times it will not display in editor or in print Priview  but it will print in the hardcopy.
    Later On I Will Put Step By Step Step With Screenshot .
    If Anyone Have Emergency Then Replay Me i Will DO it

    Printing Euro symbol in smartform
    It is marked as answered, and while it's about the euro symbol there is enough information in the answer to work out what to do for the Pound symbol.
    It was about a third of the way down the first page of results that I got by searching and took me less time to find that it did to type this reply.

    You  have to download Rupee Foradian Font and then copy it and paste it to C/Program Files/SAP/SAP Business One/Font. It will display the Rupee font in SAP smartforms. Before that same you have to install in Start> Control Panel> Fonts and copy ot and paste it here.....

    I've tried to copy and paste it but the script editor doesn't allow.

    Hi,
    I need to print EURO Symbol in my SMARTFORM.
    I am using "ALT+0128"  to get that value.
    In global data, I am taking one constant, and giving the valuw using this KEY. The symbol is coming....but,
    when I say save, It is giving syntax error as "The Characters are prohibited".
    can you please let me know, how can I solve my problem?

    Looks you have did some mistake somewhere. For me when i checked it is not giving any error. Just check whether you are getting the error for the same or for any other characters you have mentioned
    I declared it as
    W_CHAR1     TYPE     CHAR01     'u20AC'
    Recheck it once.

    Hi all,
        I have to show the Item wise amount in a Purchase order thro SMARTFORM. I don't have any problem when the purchase order has currency 'INR'. But when the Purchase order contains foreign currency, I have to show the amount upto 4 decimals. How can I show amount upto 4 decimals only when the amount is in foreign currency?I have tried to create a field-symbol with type ANY.But it's showing error.Please help.

    go to text element (editor)-> change editor> insert->characters> SAP symbols--->choose the symbol for .....
    I got as <680> text,
    but I am unable to see the symbol in the  layout.

    Icons or symbols whatever You include in the smartforms will not be able to see in print preview....You have to take a print .

    HI friend,
    Try using Unicode device type SWINCF for printing the Indian currency. Also check whether your system has or supports that currency format.
    If your system is a Unicode device you must be able to copy and paste the rupee symbol over there.
    For more reference on printing the currency just see the SAP Note #812821
    I think this will solve your issue.

      Field Symbols in smartforms can declare in Global definitions .Under the Field Symbol Tab.
    The main use of Field Symbol is Like pointers in C.
    If we want to modify the table or variable or assiging to the total table or u want to create dynamic internal table or for macros.

    but in the PGm Value is comin...

    jsut replace that symbol with #  and check the print out . If it is printing then update your Adobe version.

    Dear QM Gurus,
    In qp01 i have entered specification as long text where i have maintained some symbols like, alpha, beta, gamma and so on...Also abaper has developed special report for certificate of analysis.
    Now while in print preview we are not able to get this special symbols, they are appearing something else.
    For eg.
    Specification
    Impurity B (∆ 9, 11 u2013 Ethinylestradiol)
    u2264 1.0 % (u03B1 -2, u03B2 -5 nitrobenzyl)
    output
    Impurity B (#  9, 11 u2013 Ethinylestradiol)
    <(<>)> 1.0 % (# -2, # -5 nitrobenzyl)
    Please guide, how i will get this symbols as an output in COA.
