Q10 - accidentally deleted my calendar

I cannot find my calendar icon on my Q10.  I think I accidentally deleted it.
I can get to the calendar by going to Search, but I don't want to have to do that every time.
How can I get my calendar back to my home screen?
Thanks.

Hey cdngirl9,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
The Calendar application is a core application and can not be removed, maybe it was dragged into a folder?
If it was completely removed, go to Settings>Software Update and check for updates and it will download the icon again.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers.

Your problem is that she used your icloud ID to connect to icloud and thus had all your data synced to her device.  Contacts are not saved in a backup to icloud, since they are stored independently in the Contacts section of icloud.  If someone deletes them, they are gone.  If you had them on the PC would they be available in some backup you frequently make of the PC?

I accidentally deleted a calendar . How can I restore it?
    gmsanta

    gmsanta,
The first thing to try is Calendar>Edit>Undo. However, if you have executed any other actions in Calendar that selection will no longer be available, i.e. "grayed out."
If that selection is no longer available, use Time Machine to restore the Calendars Folder.
Quit Calendar, and find the correct Calendars Folder in the ~Library Folder. To find the correct Library Folder, paste this text ~/Library into the Finder Menu>Go>Go to Folder...window and select "Go." This will open the Users Library Folder where the Calendars Folder is located.
Keep that Library window open and replace Calendar from the proper Time Line.
Log out/in or restart and open Calendar.

  • I accidentally deleted the 'Calendar' app that came with my iPhone 4S.  How do I re-install it?

I was wondering how I can reinstall the 'Calendar' app that came (already loaded) on my iPhone 4S?

You can't delete the Calendar App. Do a search for Calendar in to iPhone search screen (before the first App screen). You may have placed it in a folder or moved it to another screen.
If you have problems you can use Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

  • Accidentally deleted a calendar ... how can I recover it?

I foolishly tried to reorganize some of my calendars by moving events to a different calendar. I say foolishly because I failed to export my calendars before I started this process.
At one point I attempted to delete a calendar that I had emptied but too late I realized I had deleted the wrong one. I then tried to Undo the delete of the calendar but although it restored the calendar it did not restore the events in the calendar. I know that there are problems replacing calendars so I want to be careful in order to recover the events. I have a backup of the iCal folder from this morning which would be current enough but what is the best way to restore it. I used ChronoSync to copy the folder to an external HD.

    Not an issue anymore

  • I accidentally deleted a calendar on my iPhone 4.  How do I retrieve it and all of the events that were in it?

I was recently adding my Google calendar to my calendars on my iPhone 4.  After I synched it, something happened where all of my Yahoo contacts disappeared.  We were able to retrieve the contacts after going into Settings and setting up a new account under Carddav.Address.Yahoo.  My contacts all reappeared!  I then noticed that all of my calendar events that were in there before Google was synched were gone.  I don't know how to find those events and/or that calendar and retrieve it.  I have iTunes and iCloud, but I don't see the events on there anywhere.  Any suggestions?

  • Is it possible to accidentally delete all calendar items on iphone?

I cannot access any future or past appointments on my calendar. They were there one minute, gone the next. Only thing on my calendar are birthdays. I did update my software and register icloud 5 days ago, but calendar items are not showing up on my macbook either.

If you check your all programs list (wherever that is in the newer versions of Android), is Firefox still listed?
Mozilla doesn't provide an email service, just the browser, so if you aren't able to find your mail account, consider whether it is a different Gmail account, or Yahoo, Hotmail, or another webmail service.

  • Accidentally Deleted Calendar Event via Decline Button

I have accidentally deleted a calendar event on more than one occasion due to having a calendar event open to view its contents and then accidentally touching the Decline button, usually when trying to scroll and putting the finger down too far (and to the right).
Has anyone else done this? Any tips for avoiding this problem other than the obvious "be more careful" or "swipe towards the left of the screen"? Is there any way to get rid of the Accept,Maybe,Decline buttons or to add an additional confirmation dialog? The only way to recover after an accidental Decline seems to be to have the invitee or someone invited to the event forward the calendar event to me again so that I can accept it and have it put back on the calendar.
The calendar events in question are those coming from a Microsoft Exchange server used at work. There is no issue with my own calendar events since these obviously do not have Accept,Maybe,Decline buttons.

Thanks. I suppose my gripe isn't so much with Microsoft as it is with Apple's U.I. design that makes it too easy to make a change that deletes the event. For other places where there is a deletion, such as the trash symbol for mail messages, you are prompted with a secondary "Delete Message" dialog which is a configurable option "Ask Before Deleting" in the Mail preferences. I would like to see a similar option for the calendar events "Ask Before Declining" or something like that since a Decline deletes the calendar event and unfortunately it is too easy to accidentally hit that Decline button.
So what is the best way to make a feature request to Apple such as the above? I'll consider the question answered if I know how to best make this suggestion to Apple.

  • Is there any way to recover an item in my calendar I accidentally deleted from iCloud?

Temporary flet battery in iPhone 5. Checking calendar in iCloud via laptop, I accidentally deleted a calendar item. Is there anyway of recovering it as it has a number of recurring events in it?

    Hi SandieMo,
If you made an iTunes backup of your device while you still had the Calendar item listed, you may find the following article useful:

  • Accidentally deleted calendar

I accidentally deleted my calendar from my iphone this morning. Is there anyway to "undo" this??? Or, can I just "restore" the phone from 2 hours ago??? (If so, how?) Thanks

If you go into Settings and then select General and Reset and Reset Home Screen Layout, your calendar icon should show up again, you might have to sign back into your account to get your events synced back in though.
    Hope this helps
