Q10 Camera

Hello, i've a problem with my Q10 camera gallery 
whenever i take a photo from Q10 camera my photo gellery doesnt get updated with the latest photos i captured. but after some time (half an hour may be) it gets updated automatically with all latest photos i've taken. same is the case with all photos and videos i recieve through whats app/BBM or through link.
your quick response will be highly appriciated!!

I recommend you reload your device through BlackBerry link. You will lose any pictures or data so I recommend you create backup your pictures and data through BlackBerry protect.
This should solve your problems.

  • Q10 camera doesn't work anymore

    Dear all, my Q10 camera doesn't start and I get a message: "it's impossible to switch on the camera" (please, note that my language is Italian and therefore my translations of the messages could be incorrect).
    I have tried with the diagnosis tool BBVE and when it's time to test the camera it shows: "BBVE doesn't have the access to camera" as if I had denied the access to this app. But in the settings the camera is enabled.
    I tried accessing to camera from some other app: the main camera never works while I could get something from the screen camera, but not always.
    I have also tried disabling the access to camera to any app but the problem still occurs.
    Please, who can help?
    I am afrai I must reload the full software from Link but, in that case, shall I find my settings somewhere or I will have to set everything back manually?

    It sounds like there is a hardware problem with the phone.  Have you reported this to the carrier or have a authorized repair shop take a look?

  • Q10 Camera issue

    Hello everybody,
    I'm having hard time with my Q10 camera.
    It started some weeks ago when starting the camera app wasn't possible. It always said something like "camera could not be started". A restart or two mostly "fixed" it.
    This time things got really strange. Now I can start the camera but the screen shows colourful stripes, which can not be taken as photo, but as video. I uploaded it on, link below.

    Restart won't let the issue go away. Anyone who got an idea what the hell this is?

  • Problems with Q10 Camera

    Hi,
    bought the Q10 in August. From the beginning the camera hasnt been working, not the camera or video recorder. Always comes the text, the camera cant be started. It only works with bbm video. Any ideas?

    I would suggest creating a backup of your data by using BlackBerry Link and then follow the steps in this KB article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB34045 and then test the camera prior to restoring any data.
    If the issue persists, then I suggest contacting your network service provider for repair/exchange options.

  • Dev Alpha C (Q10) camera broken: black screen

    Hello,
    As far as I understand, Dev Alpha C has identical hardware to Q10. My unit's rear camera stopped working - I have a black screen in the camera app when using rear camera and I have a usual viewfinder when I'm using a front one.
    I've tried doing security wipes and flashing alternate firmwares (Q10's 10.1 and 10.2) with no luck.
    Is it fixable?

    Hello, I am experiencing actually the exact same problem on my q10. When I start the (rear) camera, all it shows are rainbow-like stripes. Before that I had the "black-screen" issue. The front camera has always functioned flawelessly, by the way. Still hope it's a stupid software issue, but I'm not sure anymore. Any suggestions?! Thanks.

    Try testing it by using the Flashlight app and see if it successfully turns on the flash light or gives you any error messages?

  • Blackberry Q10 camera issue

    My back camera does not work. it just goes to a black screen. The front camera works fine. Is this a problem with the software update or a hardware problem?

    What version of the OS are you currently on.
    Please do a hard reboot after an update, hold down the power button, or the up/down volume keys for 10 seconds.

  • My camera on my Q10 don't work

    Ive had a Q10 for just over 2 weeks and have been very very dissapointed at the camera funtion on it. The camera has been fantastic which is why I was sold on getting myself one, but for some reason or other the damned thing has stopped working unless I switch the view to face myself. I cant for the life of me understand why its stopped. All im getting is my entire screen fillled with multicoloured vertical lines and that is all I can do. Unlees I swith the camera view to the one thats facing me then im stuffed. Its really gutting to buy such a highly rated, supposedly top mobile out, (and they are not cheap either) for it to have any kind of fault in such a short time from purchasing it. I pray that somebody somewhere knows how, or what the problem is on my Q10 camera and help me fix wats wrong.

    KB35371 After updating the device software from version 10.1 to version 10.2.0 on the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone, "Camera cannot be initiated" error message is displayed when opening the Camera app.

  • Issue about 10.1 Sync with google contacts

    here's the situation:
    i bought my Q10 came with OS238, when i set google account up with IMAP, all the email, calendar, and contacts would sync ONCE, which means i got all my contacts from google on my Q10. however, when i add or modify any contact on google, it would never sync again to push to my Q10, vice versa. it only syncs ONCE.
    I though it would be an ROM issue, then i upgrade Q10 to OS273, and restore it from the OS238 backup, ah wow, exactly same with OS238, it syncs ONCE, and nothing to happen any more no matter you do any changes or adding, it just nothing to happen, seems it is dead out of google.
    Notice: all the setting is following the tips and correct.
    but here's the interesting thing:
    1. here's the good thing: all my google mails' push is normal, i could receive them quickly, that's called "real push!"
    2. and this is worse: my google calendar will not push, but however i could refresh them in calendar app manually, well, we call it "fetch."
    3. worst!!! you just cannot get any google contacts update from anywhere, the phone just sync ONCE then you don't ever dream to sync again! what we call this? bull**bleep**!
    i don't think it was Google's problem, some others get 2 ways sync with their google accounts normally, but somehow some others including me do not. i searched in CB forum and BB website's forum, not only I have this critical issue. I don't understand is it your BB's strategy to "save the world" by release such a buggy OS to public? do you forget how you died during these years? is that your engineers' working attitude to what they are working on? i have nothing to do with it, it all depends on you, blackberry company. please understand that i've been so critical is because i have lots of love and expectation on you, blackberry company.

  • How can this be?

    Someone's Q10 wouldn't come up. Thinking it's a battery issue, on getting home he put on a spare battery. It still wont come on. Hours later its still not coming on. He tried reloading the software using BB Link without success.
    The solution was to leave the battery out all night.  The next morning the Q10 came on and worked fine again.
    What could be the reason for this solution having worked in multiple cases?

    This has been seen, albeit rarely, not zero. I would suspect that capacitors and other electrical things inside the device need time to fully drain of energy, even after the battery is removed. We typically suggest a quick remove/insert, and if failed, wait 15 minutes between, and then if that still fails, to wait 2 hours between. It seems odd indeed, but if it works, it works.

    I know, especially stupid that it doesn't work in stabilisation mode as its often that mode used in lower light situations that would benefit from the flash... have no idea why BB doesn't allow US to chose when we want a certain function.

  • NFC File share over WiFi problem between camera - Q10

    Hello Folks, I just got myself a Olympus camera with a WiFi NFC photoshare feature. I cannot get it to work with the Q10. Camera Side: WiFi enabled - the display shows a NFC Tag and also provides instructions for manual connexion.When I scan the tag with smarttag I get this string "OIS1,CP1%1H1UOP+++Y//,%*Z-+-X$" and the Q10 wants to search it in google (LoL)So I established the WiFi connexion manually as instructed by the Camera. The Q10 establish the connexion but warns about Internet not available with it. The camera instructions says the files are at http://oishare/ No matter how I try to enter this http://oishare/  link, the Q10 keeps sending it to Google where it get lost in translation. Does anyone has figure out that one out? Thanks folks

    Thread update Network / Mobile Network must be turned off (at least data) in order to be able to access http://oishare/Then I managed to see the directory structure but I couldn't find any pictures on the camera. Later on, I found some instructions in other forums to Sideload the Snap Google Play client.With a Google Play account in hand via Snap, I downloaded and install the Olympus Photoshare app. The app installed properly and has its own NFC scan function compatible with the Camera NFC tag. I was then able to export the pictures to the Q10 and even remote control the Camera. Pretty cool.

    Good day, I bought a Q10 from a friend, this can not go with the part around. Now I have seen the device. It's all wonderful just the back camera. After countless Restart's (battery out and in / hard reset), software updates (with Autoloader) and even with a replacement of the camera I've been busy and replaced me. There always comes the same message (Camera Can not Be Started.). Can someone help me and has a 2nd level Tip?

    did you perform a security wipe when you got this device?Is Parental Controls on? to check go to Settings> Security and Privacy> Parental Controls.

  • Camera settings on Blackberry Q10

    I recenlty bought a Q10, and have just discovered all the pictures I have recently taken are not on the media card but on the phone only.
    Having find some instructions on the interenet about to save on media card, I have the following problem:
    The option of 'Save on Media Card' Pictures and videos can be saved to a media card, if available.
    This option will not allow me to turn on or off, so how do I transfer my new pictures to my media card in my Q10?
    Anyone have any ideas?

    If the option appears to not be there to save your pictures to the media card, then I'd suggest the media card may not be formatted.  Take a look and see if you can browse the media card.
    Also, when you connect your Q10 to a PC or Mac, provided you've enabled your storage options both the user accessible shared memory on the device as well as your media card should mount as external drives.  You could transfer the files from internal memory to the media card that way.

  • BBZ10 and Q10 key Features.

    6) It has Multilanguage support, and users can flick words with one thumb. Also improved are the picture editor, and a multitude of other features that positions the device both as a consumer device and an enterprise device simultaneously.
    7) The glass is designed exclusively for Z10, it is supposedly thinner but stronger than plastic.
    8) The device aggregates information intuitively; it recognises and pulls up all the connections into the contacts, like the last email, last meeting, last Twitter post.
    9) The battery life is estimated at 10 hours talking time and 13 days on standby. Another feature is a mini-HDMI port to allow connections to a television or projector.
    10) Apps like Facebook have been completely integrated with the BlackBerry 10 hub. All emails and notifications from such applications as Twitter and Facebook go to the BlackBerry Hub, a nerve center accessible with a finger swipe even if you have another application open. One can peek into it and open an email, or return to the previous application without opening the email. The company said that more than 70,000 apps are available for users in the BlackBerry World.

    Hi I downloaded and installed OS X Mavericks last week. But now realised that I cannot load the photos page during ITunes backup for apple devices! Have tried reinstalling OS X Mavericks. Wasn't able to delete itunes, so only could reinstall it. Coul
