Q10 Losing all contacts on reboot

My Q10 (OS 10.2.1.2156 - T-mobile) is synchronised through our BES
I have about 11000 contacts
I sometimes have the issue my Q10 restarts due to vibration of the battery. When this happens I lose contacts in my phone (it is as if all contacts were in RAM only) and it just resyncs from the server. (this does drain the battery due to the quantity)
It is definitely an issue of the phone/OS and happens each time it restarts.
I did not have that issue with the original OS but I do not want to go back due to all the improvements in this release

I have the same release on T-Mobile and have not had that problem. I sync using Activesync to Exchange but I don't see that as being any different than BES. I would try putting a layer of tape around the battery to tighten it up. Also, with the phone ON, pull the battery and wait 10 seconds then re-install it but make sure the battery fits tight first. You are correct, resyncing will drain the battery but you should not lose the info just because the battery is pulled.

If you have performed a sync with the device since you restored this old backup, then don't bother looking for another backup. iTunes writes over the last backup each time you sync. If you were handling contacts in iCloud, you would find them by logging into iCloud. Or you can check settings and iCloud and see if the button it on for Contacts. Otherwise it might have been on the computer, if you had a program that syncs with iTunes and handles contacts, depending on the computer system you use. If Windows, it would be Windows Contacts or Outlook. If a Mac, there is a Mac Address book as well.

Keep losing all contacts after restoring to back up. Help?

You are talking about the menu bar of Itunes, right?
Yes. With iTunes open the menu bar is at the top of your screen.

After you authorize the computer connect your iPhone then follow the instructions here > iOS: How to transfer or sync content to your computer
When you are done transferring the data to the desktop, right or control click the iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click Back Up.
That way you will have a backup just in case you need to restore your iPhone.

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

She should not sync her phone to a different iTunes library. Once solution is to set up Home Sharing, then in iTunes on her computer drag and drop the music from your library to hers. Then she can sync this music from her own iTunes library to her phone. The iPhone is NOT a storage device so it does not support transferring it's data to another iTunes library. You can transfer purchased iTunes music and apps, but any music you ripped yourself or purchased from somewhere else cannot be transferred without purchasing some additional 3rd party product.
Certainly in this digital age, everyone is backing up their important data, right? You can take the backup copy of the data on your broken computer and load it into your new one.

Deleting the iCloud account from your phone only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with the account (that is, any data that is set to On in Settings>iCloud). However, when you delete the account you are prompted about what to do with the iCloud data. If you want to keep it on your phone, be sure to choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Also, be sure to save any photo stream photos that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else before deleting the account. To do this, open the photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Deleting the account will not touch any other data on your phone (music, apps, etc.).

Contacts are not stored in iTunes, they are instead synced with a supported application on your computer or a cloud service like Exchange, MobileMe or Google.

Use the device as designed.
Pictures and videos taken with the device are designed to be regularly copied off the device to a computer.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Media should exist in iTunes on the computer.
If the device has been used as designed then at most, only a miniscule amount of data is at risk. That data being pics/vids taken since the last time they were copied off the device. Also at risk is app data created since the last backup to iTunes or iCloud.
If the device is in recovery mode and it has not been used as designed, it is too late to salvage the data.

Well, two thoughts.
The battery has completely discharged and will take overnight to recharge, so don't expect much in an hour.
The battery has deep discharged and is now dead. It will never recharge and should be replaced.

I just need help to sync the iPhone with the Mac without losing app data, emails, contacts, settings.
Everytime I click on the tabs (to sync contacts, apps, music, et al), I get an error message that reads:
"Are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone “Ryan's iPhone” will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library."
What do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
