Q10 not able to send messages to same account

I have had my q10 for 3 weeks. Al of the sudden today, I can no longer send an email from either one of my email accounts on device to a particular one. I have been doing it for the last 3 weeks. I am receiving emails and can send to other email addresses, just not mine. It tries to send then gives me red dot. The email address is on an exchange server. I send myself reminders all of the time. I tried deleting the account and adding back but same results.

With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Reboot
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

    Hi,
    I am not able to send messages using text message editor. I am having N70. I also have the latest PC suite and latest phone software. Whenever I try to send message, a message appears "Unable to send". It does not even give me the reason. I have connected my phone using data cable and I can transfer music, syncronize and do other stuffs.

    i am having the same Problem.
    I cannot send any sms via my phone (N70) nor via the latest Pc Suite. It also just says "Unable to send" with no reason.

    If you're not able to send text or iMessages to certain contacts after updating your iPhone, start with the troubleshooting tips in this article:
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages - Apple Support
    If you only see this behavior with a few contacts, you may want to try these steps first:
    If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
    If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.

    Can you clarify what computer is giving problems? Your equipment line:
    iMac DV (Slot Loading), Mac OS X (10.5.8)
    has some mutailly exclusive info, in that a iMac DVD Slot loader is a G3 that cannot run Mac OS 10.5.8. The OS version sets the Mail version so figuring that out may help us get you going faster.

  • Migrated users not able to send messages to other internal domain

    We are currently going through a domain migration and are having trouble with Lync 2010 and 2013. In particular messages between the Old Domain and New Domain. The appropriate trusts have been established between the two, but when either user (Old domain
    or new) tries to message someone from the other domain the common "We couldn't send this message because we couldn't find USER"  error occurs. The
    users are able to search and find each other (We use GAL for this not Outlook Contacts), but messages don't go through.

    Can you provide a bit more detail?
    Are the two domains in the same forest or separate forests?  Are you using different sip domains as well?  Are the two lync pools federated via their edge servers?

    u2022     Is there any configuration to set up in MII and PI to do posting to PI as a web service? If YES, please guide.

    u2022     We are with MII version 12.1.4.53 and trying to send message through http post to PI 7.1 server.

    Hi Anudeep,
    The question isNOT ABOUT the format of the URL which MII should use.
    Using the same URL we are able to post the message from other MII versions with in the landscape( MII version 12.1.6 and MII version12.1.9) and through SOAP UI.
    500 Internal server error Problem arises when the message is sent through the same URL from MII 12,1.4 Build(53) to PI 7.1 ( we tried https Post, XI Webservice, WebService action blocks)
    Question:
    Are thre any configuration settings specific to MII version12.1.4 Build 53 which needds to be set in MII to communicate to PI 7.1.

  • Others not able to send mail to my account

    I have manually entered all the information as my hosting website has provided and I am able to send mail but others are not able to sen mail to me.
    The following message occurs every attempt to send to my account:

    Well the domain passes most standard checks. http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools#dnsReport|type=domain&&value=microciderco.com.au
    Google, whom I assume are your hosts are emphatic when I send mail to that address that the address simply does not exist. So I think you need to revisit that part of your domain setup. perhaps create a couple of other addresses and see if they play nice.

  • Not able to send messages using Mail

    the message comes up is that "the connection to your outgoing mail server on port 25 timed out". I have followed the instructions of deleting the account and creating it again - that did not solve the problem. The outgoing server that's being used is "smtp.mac.com"
    Just wondering if anybody knows what the issue could be.

    Thank you for your email. It is possible that your regular email client is configured to delete the messages from the POP3 inbox after they have been retrieved. Try the following.
    1. Send an email message to your mail address.
    2. Close your email client before your email client retrieves the message.
    3. Using the iNet Factory classes attempt to login to the POP3 mailbox and retrieve your mail. Depending on how long it takes to send the mail through your SMTP server this may take a few tries before you get a message back.
    Alternatively you can disable the automatic deletion of email messages in your email client. If you are using MS Outlook you can do this from the main menu as follows:
    Tools | Accounts | Select Account | Properties | Advanced
    Check the box "Leave a copy of messages on server".
    This will leave the message on the server X days after you download the email from your Outlook client.

  • Not being able to send messages from any of the messaging apps iPhone 3gs

    I have tried resetting the phone a couple of times, including a reboot , swithcing off the phone etc. But Im just not able to send messages on Whatsapp, Couple or anything of the sort. Im not facing problems while receivig emails, but NONE of my messaging applications work!
    Btw I upgraded to IOS 6 last week.
    Also is there a way I can downgrade?

Will we have to set up 2 separate primary email addresses to be able to  send and receive Tex Messages to one another? Like I said, we share the same email address and woul like to keep it that way to keep up with our email together. Is there a way to by-pass having to set up 2 primary emaill addresses if this is the problem?

    These are the recommended troubleshooting steps to resolve No Service issues on iPhone:
    Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings > Enable Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, then turn off airplane mode.
    Turn iPhone off and then on again.
    Remove the SIM card and verify that it's a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it isn't damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
    Check for a carrier-settings update. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Then tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, iOS will ask you if you want to install it. If Wi-Fi isn't available, connect your device to iTunes.
    Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
    Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
    Restore the iPhone.
    If you are outside the United States, please also follow these steps:
    Go to Settings > Carrier > Automatic.
    If the phone registers any carrier network, Settings > Carrier will be present.
    If the Carrier option is missing in Settings and you are outside of the Unites States, please contact Apple for support and service options.
    Set the option for Automatic to off.
    A list of potentially available carriers appears after about two minutes. If the device is locked to a carrier, it may connect only to the carrier network to which it is locked. If the device displays carrier networks, then the device is working as expected.
    Set Settings > Carrier > Automatic back to on.
    If you're still experiencing No Service issues, contact your carrier to check for any network or account issues that could cause these symptoms.
