hello, when my Q10 work account isn't responding ,its ask me to "tap for more info" , i go to "System Setting" - Accounts --Set up email --select my work account email address (show "Not Connected) -- "Edit Account" -Configure the account settings for- always in red font :  -Not All Connections were closed in the alloted time. no matter how I change server address, port and smtp server address , SSL..etc..finally solve is to keep delete my work email account and re-install. this is happen on my own work email address account. i have another recruit email work account with same company domain name. but never have this problem. hotmail, yahoo doesnt happen also. may anyone can help ? or only solution is to keep delete and re-install. fyi., this is my second Q10 used 4 mths back. 2st Q10 doesnt happen for all work and personal mail account.Thanks alot.

    We were able to narrow down the issue to an irrelevant IP coming into play during the data transfer. We tried ssbdiagnose runtime and found this error:

    The IP that corresponds to routing address is no where configured within the SSB. We are yet unsure why this IP is being referred despite not being configured anywhere. We identified that this IP belongs to one of nodes other SQL Server cluster, which has
    no direct relation to the source server. We failed over that irrelevant SQL Server cluster and made another node active and to our surprise, the data from sys.transmission_queue started flowing. Even today we are able to reproduce the issue, if we bring
    back this node [XX.XXX.XXX.199] as active. Since, its a high business activity period, we are not investigating further until we get an approved downtime to find the root cause of it.
    When we get a approved downtime, we will bring the node [XX.XXX.XXX.199] as active and we will be running Network Monitor, Process Monitor and the SSB Diagnose all in parallel to capture the process/program that is accessing the irrelevant IP.
    Once, we are able to nail down the root cause, I will share more information.

    I have a new iPhone 6. I went through the steps of transferring data from my prior iPhone 4s using iCloud, but none of the voicemails from 2012 were restored.     Each track should have a download icon. If no icon is shown, this suggest that your library is still pointing to the original track. If you try to play a track do you see " ! " against the track. If so, you have two options:
    1. Select track and right click then delete - do not tick delete from cloud. Download icon now shown.
    2. Create new library, point to location you wish to download then turn on match. You will see all music you have in match.
    By the way, it would be easier and quicker to restore your music from your back up.

         iCloud
         Email accounts
         Social Media
         CardDAV accounts
    If some of your contacts are missing, check to see your signed into all your accounts
        Setting > Mail Contacts & Calendars
    Also check to see you are viewing all the contact groups
    Open Contacts > Upper left Select groups
            Make sure all the groups you want are selected

    Thanks Chris. I had tried that already. Not working. For example, I have about 6o bookmarks tagged under one tag, and a tag search in the awesome bar (even with added + sign) only yields a handful of them.

    No, sounds like when you dropped it an cracked the screen it may have also damaged the logic board or the repair person damaged a cable.

    Using home share, I can import some songs from my son's  computer but not others.  All the songs were purchased with the same apple id.  Err msg:"There was a problem downloading ... You do not have enouggh access privileges for this operation. Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again."  The network appears to be fine .  I can import other songs from his library.  The same songs cause me a problem each time I try.  My husband had no trouble importing the same songs I have trouble with. I get the same error message if I try to import the same songs from my husbands computer as well.  "Command I" appears to show the same protections on both the songs I can import & the ones I cannot.  My husband and son are both running OS 10.6, while I am running 10.7.  I think I had this problem even before I upgraded, but I am not certain.

    My first suggestion is to Repair Disk. Here's how:
    Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key.
    Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
    Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
    Select First Aid in the Main panel.
    (Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report)
    Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
    If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
    If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
    If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need to use a utility like Tech Tool Pro or Disk Warrior
    Please post back and let me know how that goes.

    Wow that was really quick, thank you so much.  Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it.  I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names.  isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
    So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)

    Using Terminal Server 2008 not able to get non administrator users to login to the remote desktop. Have tried from Windows server 2008 and from Windows servers 2003. Get error login in "The connection was denied because the user account is not authorized for remote login" from Windows Server 2008. Error "The requested session access is denied" from Windows Server 2000.

    Is that seriously the only way to do this? Doesn't this render the "Allow log on through Terminal Services" GP Setting useless?
    I would like to know this answer, as well.  I have created a new AD group for my assistant admins called "Domain Admins (limited)".  I have added this group to the GP setting "Allow log on through Terminal Services", but the
    assistant admins cannot log in through RDP.  It 'feels like' this is all I would need to do.

    Found some good info
    here. There are really two things required for a user to connect to a server via RDP. You can configure one of them via Group Policy but not the other.
    1) Allow log on through Terminal Services can be configured through Group Policy, no problem.
    2) Permissions on the RDP-listener must also be granted.  If your user is a member of the local Administrators group or the local Remote Desktop Users group then this is handled.  If you are trying to utilize a new, custom group (as I am),
    then there isn't a way to do this via group policy (that I have found).
    EDIT: Found the answer.  I am creating a blog post to outline the steps.  They aren't hard, but they're not self-explanatory.  It deals with the Restricted Groups mentioned above, but it's still automate-able using Group Policy so that you
    don't have to touch each computer.  I think the above poster (Andrey Ganev) got it right, but
    I had trouble deciphering his instructions.

    I actually found under  EDIT then Catalog settings / then metadata that the automatic write changes to XMP had been unchecked. Once I check this, it updated and connected all the keywords to the pictures. Now when I copy and paste the keywords show up as I can now detect them in Adobe bridge when before I couldn't see them even though they were in lightroom. . Thanks for your input.

    The sync is one way - computer to ipod.  The only exception is itunes purchases.
    The ipod is not a backup device.
    You need to copy everything back using your backup copy.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     Open your iPhoto Library package with the Finder as shown in this screenshot
    and look in the folder named Auto Import.  Move any files in that folder to a folder on the Desktop and close the package. Do not make any other changes.  Launch iPhoto (the message should be gone) and drag the folder on the Dersktop into the open iPhoto window to import them.
