Q180 reinstall on an SSD - have I done something wrong??

I recently swapped out the hard drive in my Q180 for a 64GB Crucial M4 SSD but I'm having problems getting the graphics card to be recognised as the HD7450 that it is - device manager keeps telling me that the GPU is a "6400 Series" card!?!?!?
I've tried using the graphics card drivers on the Lenovo website but all I get then is a "Standard VGA" in device manager and it wont let me select higher than 1440 resolution so when I went to the AMD website, the drivers it tells me are for the 7450 but they show up as the 6400!?!?
Am I missing something here???

Accessing the hidden partition is very delicate and might make the OKR functionality unusable, please be careful not to delete any files inside the hidden partition.

Firefox is a totally free application, it doesn't charge you anything. If you downloaded Firefox from someplace that required you to sign up for it or charged you, then I suggest canceling your credit card (which you should do anytime there is suspected unauthorized activity) and uninstall Firefox. Then reinstall it from [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com].

After you Restore from backup, sync the iPhone.

OS 10.7 Lion the slowest system ever - have I done something wrong?

I recently upgraded to os 10.7 from the App store, along with all the various things that need upgrading as well (.e.g Microsoft Office, etc), on a 2.53 GHz 4GB/500GB Macbook Pro (1.5 years old).
The systems is the SLOWEST and most ponderous I've used in 20 years!! It can take 10 minutes to start up when opening a couple of programmes (Mail, Word, Excel), the Office programs crash incessantly, swtiching between applications is slow, starting up Paralles is GLACIAL, applications freeze all the time. I've still got over 100 GB free on the hard drive.
Either I've got something set up terribly wrong (but 10.6 worked amazingly), or this is the worst system Apple has ever put out!! HELLPPPP!!!

If you have more than ten or so files or folders on your Desktop, move them, temporarily at least, somewhere else in your home folder.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard, mouse, and monitor, if applicable. Launch the usual set of applications you use when you notice the problem.
Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the page that opens.
Select the CPU tab.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the System Memory tab. What values are shown in the bottom part of the window for Page outs and Swap used?
Step 2
Launch the Console application in the same way as above, and select “kernel.log” from the file list. Post the dozen or so most recent messages in the log — the text, please, not a screenshot.
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Do not post many repetitions of the same message.

Help Have I done something wrong

I am hoping this is not permanent. I still have the thumbnails but when I go to edit then nothing shows up, the window is blank.
The only cause I can think of is that I dragged photos out of the trash (in the dock) and renamed them. I also renamed some others that were on my desktop. Now I am not sure if these were duplicates downloaded from my camera but is there anyway I can view them again in edit form. I am aiming to export these photos so that I can edit them in Elements 3
I knew that I should not play around with photos outside of iPhoto, but I didn't think these were part of the iPhoto library as they appeared on my desktop.
I also have another question that I posted on 25th March but have not got any further with it? I would appreciate anyone responding to that if possible, The answer posted was not clear.

What version of iPhoto are you using? iPhoto 4 and earlier doesn't give a fig about photo files that are not in the iPhoto Library folder -- it doesn't even know they exist. Dragging photos out of the trash and renaming them on the desktop has nothing whatsoever to do with your iPhoto collection, and iPhoto has no way to prevent you from editing those photos in any third-party application.
I'm having great difficulty in trying to understand the problem. I'm not sure why you think any "export" would be involved with the "Elements 3" editing of a file already on your desktop. You should be able to do anything you want with any image that's not in the iPhoto Library folder.
Your description of thumbnails not associated with any actual images is a symptom of a photo library corruption -- often caused by manually moving files around inside the iPhoto Library folder (but you've described nothing of the sort). Rebuild your iPhoto database by starting iPhoto while holding the option+shift keys until you're prompted for confirmation.

iOS 7.1.2, huh? It MAY be having some trouble with the iOS 8.x devices and latest iCloud features. Although it meets the minimum system requirements, it does not meet the recommended ones - System requirements for iCloud - Apple Support
You should try Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support - this is generally the first step in troubleshooting, all devices - for all time

I've updated to iso5 on my iphone 4 but some of the features are not working like the lock screen camera feature. Have I done something wrong?

to see the camera icon, double-click the home button when you are on the lock screen. this will show the music controls and the camera icon. double click the home bgutton again to close them.

Something has gone wrong - the AppleTV needs to be restored by connecting to a computer running current iTunes version using a microUSB to USB lead.
AppleTv2 does not require power when doing this.
Select the AppleTv Device on teh left in iTunes and restore to current firmware.

What is your iPhoto version and how did you install it originally?
If it came with a new mac and Lion or Mt. Lion installed, you can delete iPhoto from the Applications folder (don't empty the Trash) and download it again from the "Purchased" tab of the App Store.
If you have bought the iLife CD, reinstall iPhoto from the installation media, after deleting it from the Application folder.
Or if your Mac came with an older MacOS X, but iLIfe preinstalled, use the system Install CDs, see Terence Devlin's post here: Re: My iPhoto isn't working. Error message says "you can't open the app "iPhoto" because it may be damaged or incomplete.

P.S: This may not only be a problem of a broken iPhoto. What did you do, directly before this happened? Did you run a program, that will clean the Mac to save space, like "Clean My Mac" or "Mac Keeper"? These little helpers can be risky and overdo it and remove too much. Then it might be safer to reinstall your system, because other essential files might be missing now.

triple click the home button. Then you can go into accessability options in settings and turn off that feature

I don't have the same version of OS X here but try System Preferences>Keyboard. Is there an option similar to "Use the F1, etc, keys as standard function keys"?
If so, and it has a checkmark, uncheck it & see if that does the trick.

You may have inadvertently installed adware. Eradicating it is simple and you don't have to download or install anything to fix it. For an explanation or how this may have occurred, how to avoid it in the future, and for one possible solution read How to install adware.
Blocking popup windows in Safari and ad blocker extensions can be useful, but they are often ineffective defenses for this particular threat.

Every now and again - i get a notice saying "something is trying to trick Firefox in accepting an update" - that is it - does not tell me what it is - I then thought i'd use Feedback to contact you - however, it came back saying "to use feedback i needed the most recent update" I checked ABOUT FIREFOX and it says i am up to date - so maybe - Firefox is blocking its own update - what is going on - and how can i find out what is being "blocked"

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
