QA11-usage Decesion

Qm Expert I Am working on ECC 6.0
In usage Decesion screen When I Posted Inspection stock to Blocked Or Scrap, I Enter in Document Item data tab
1.Reason for Movement(field name -GRUND02)
2.Item text(Field name-SGTXT)
& save The Document
After this I go to MB51 Do Display the document But It Does not show Item Text (sgtext) Also I Have checked the MSEG table in se16 & se11 But Field SGTXT does not Show Anything ,Can anybody Giude Me Which Setting To Be Done

Are you able to see the item text filed in MB51 or not
I mean what i want to clarify from you is whether the filed itself is not visible or only the text is missing in the item text field
If the field itself is missing then check the layout,in select layout you select the item text field

I want that in usage decision qa11,qa12, always ask me when i have charact. open , altough charact don't be for short duration.

You are correct. If a characteristic is marked as a LT characteristic, it will not cause a warning message at the time of UD even if it is a required characteristic.
Many places make all characteristics as LT simply so they can make changes and corrections to the results after the UD. But this is not how and why LT characteristics were designed by SAP. This is not an SAP best pactice and characteristics should not be set up as LT characteristics unless they are truly LT tests that you don't expect to be available until after the UD. But many consultants don't do this.
But, once having done so, the only solution you have that I can see, is to utilize a user exit to make the checks you want.

Restrict TECO if Usage decesion has not been made

Hi All,
I have a requirement. Can I restrict system status TECO for an Order for which Usage decision has not been made just only by SPRO settings ?
I do not want to use User exit.
Also, I do not need automatic TECO status set at the time of UD which I see in majority of threads.

Hi.. Sanjay,
Hope you can achieve this with the help of assignment of User Status in Order type.
Go to OIBS transaction there we can give status profile to the order.
you can give 2 statuses by using TECO allowed or NOT ALLOWED you can control the status change.
In transaction OIOG you can assign this status profile to Order.
if it is not full fill then you have to for the enhancement.

You can check for the authorisation object.I can't remember that authoriation object right now.But surely you can restrict that with authorisation object.
Anyone knows the authoristaion object.

WM - QM usage decision scrap - automatic TO creation

How can I realize an automatic transfer order processing for the following scenario:
MIGO Goods receipt posting with reference to PO into quality
QA11 Usage decision Scrap
Transfer requirement (WM mtype 551 / IM mtype 553) is being created but although the correct storage type (902 GR area external rcpts) is being determined the system cannot process the transfer order in background since the respective storage bin (dynamic IM-material document) cannot be determined => error message u201CSystem cannot find source storage binu201D.
I am able to process the transfer order in foreground successfully. Via u201Cstock figuresu201D (F7) the system is able to determine the respective storage bin (including stock search with inspection lot) correctly so I wonder why this is not being done in the background processing.

Bin can be determined automatically only based on the strategy (for your case, it's removal strategy) assigned to the storage type in question. For 902, it's a interim storage type without strategy assigned.
I am afraid you can only manually process the TR in foreground for your scenario. Otherwise, you may consider putting away QI stock from 902 into a normal storage type. You should then be able to process the TR of scrap in background.

Return delivery in QA11

Hi All,
One way to process vendor return delivery is using transaction code MBRL - Return Delivery with check box on as Create delivery. This will create delivery in background and process return to vendor referencing to original PO goods receipt created.
Where as on QA11 Usage Decision, there is option to create material movements automatically from quality inspection stock. When you process UD the material movement take place as per proposal you made on UD stock movement screen. It post return delivery using movement type 122. But how to make an option enable that will create delivery automatically at the time of UD for return delivery as available for transaction MBRL. This will help for picking and packaging planning.

Quality Management - Usage Decision error

Hi all,
My scenerio is - There is a material ABC which is procured from the supplier. The Quality of the material is 'below standards'. However, material ABC, in Tcode QA11 Usage decision was done as ACC1 (accepted). Since the material ABC is not meeting quality standards, Usage decision is changed to RET1 (Bad Raw Material - Return) using Tcode QA12.
Now the problem is that when I enter QA11, the system does not allow me to enter as a message appears 'Detailed Info- Usage decision made is disallowed' is showing.
Please provide me a solution as the material is lying in the unrestricted stock and it has to be returned to the supplier. Also please consider costing implications.

HOW CAN WE ASSIGN THREE TASK LIST TO THREE DIFF PRODUCTION ORDER

we have one material which is used for three places FIRST IN MILL1, 2ND IN MILL2 AND THIRD IN TRIMMER MILL.
the only thing which differentiate this single material is the production order. we have 3 different production order but one single material. for this we have created 3task list. my problem is when we create batch and confirm it through co15, the lot reflects in QA32. but is not allowing for USAGE DECESION. For that we have to go to QA02, assign the task list and then again go to QA32 and do the usage decesion. is there any method by which we can assign three task list to three production orders so that qa02 step could be avoid.

How to use SWC_CREATE_OBJECT in Function Module

Hi All,
I need to create a one function module to fill the work flow container field. this work flow builder had only one task, that task is triggering through QM Action box. I need to maintain this function module in AM Action box, FM when saving field.
Please help me how to create a new function module in QM Acion box. When run the QM02 with usage decesion option is triggered Associated task is triggering, now how i will pass the notification number to work flow container.

SWC_CREATE_OBJECT 'QMObject' Object Key
Or you can pass the QM number to the Workflow and use GENERICINSTANTIATE Method of Business Object SYSTEM to instantiate the QM Business Object.

Please explain me the process/steps of receing goods against an RMA (Return Material Authorization) in SAP.

As per my understsnding RMA functinality gets activated in RETURN AND REPAIRS process.
it is not delt with notification.
From notification.repair order - RAS is generated
Return delivery
Usage decesion in QM - once accepted by QM system create service order.
In service order the tab RMA reflects automatically.

Quality Inspection lots during returns

Hi,
We need to generate inspection lots when there is a inbound delivery done.The neccessary setting's has been done and insp lot is getting created.But when we do PGR within Inbound delivery we get a error as ''Status of inspection lot 600000000000 / partial lot 000000 does not allow good issue''.We need to do PGR and then process the lot.

Cancellation of RETURN delivery made by Quality

Hi All,
I want to cancel the return delivery made to a vendor.
It was posted in QA11(usage decision) in Quality Mgmt.
In MBST, the system doesnot allow to cancel the document.
How should i proceed ?

you cannot cancel the return delivery alone what you can do is first reverse the PO's then try to cancel the inspection lot .Then do the fresh MIGO and then you can post the material to production

Hello Ameya,
The only one mvt type 321 is used to move material from QI to UR - Unrestricted. This can be done through MB1B transaction code (if QM module is not active) or using QA11 (usage Decision) as explained by Srinivas.

WM 321 Posting change qa to unres for consignment materials

How can I realize automatic WM-transfer order / posting change processing for a quality to unrestricted posting (initated via QA11 record usage decision) of a consignment material?
I am able to realize the automatic posting change / transfer order processing for a non-consigment material (after QA11-usage decision). Therefore I have defined "321 / Posting change, quality" posting change WM/IM customizing.
To-be-process:
MIGO Goods receipt posting with reference to PO
QA11 Usage decision
LB11 Create Transfer Order / Place stock
The goal is that the user does not require a special WM-processing also for the consignment material related to Quality Management.
I am able to create the transfer order (based on posting change 321 quality to unrestricted / consignment) manually via LU04 but I am looking for automatic TO-creation /-confirmation.

Please check the following configuration to make sure search strategy is complete for combination Stock Type Q (Quality) and Special Stock K (Consignment):
Logistics Execution > Warehouse Management > Interfaces > Define Quality Management > Activate QM Interim Storage Type Search
Example of settings:
