QA32 - Print Inspection Report

Hi,
We created a user for QM, and we assinged him the
permission for QA32, QA02 & QA11.
When we excecute QA32, we are not able to view the Print Inspection Report button.
How can we get the same?

Welcome to SDN forum.
i think you have to give the authorisation for QGA3,
if not after executing trx QA32 immd. enter trx /nSU53
it will display the missing authorisation so that u can
give that authorisation.

make a copy of QM_INSP_RESULT : Form .std sap uses this form In program RQGAAM31.
You can customzed your own form and attach here.take help of ABAPER

Print Bar code for inspection report

Dear all,
I have a requirement for printing bar code in the inspection report. Normally, we use QGA3 print inspection report which based on the script form. Now as I would like to add bar code, as I know, I have to use smart form to realize. but it can just enter Form in the standard way. So could anyone give me some useful suggestion to realize this requirement?

Hi,
Identify corresponding form.In the character format we have to define the bar code and assign that one infornt of which we need the bar code.
eg:
SE71 screen if you go the character
there below you will get the bar code
specify one character for that bar code and
in place of which u want to print place it.
for eg u have character specified as bb,
and in place of Inspection lot (w_lot) you want to have bar code
the just type.
<bb>w_lot</>, this will print the bar code for instead of inspection lot

in QA32 Transaction when we are printing Inspection report in English
langauge Form QM_INSP_RESULT -result printout there is an error
"Text element does not exist" and it is giving ABAP dump

You can implement the exit QSS10001 and call your Z smartform from there and then just set
e_exit_activ = 'X' at the end(This will stop standard script ). This will work. Please let me know your further queries regarding this.

Printing of Inspection Report After Usage Decision

Inspection report can be printed from QA33 t_code.
There are some pre requesites for this,
i) In material master 'Inspection with task list' and 'Check characteristics' should be activated.
ii) Inspection plan for that material should be present.
iii) Record results for these inspection characteristics and take Usage decision.
iv)In QA33 t_code, u can see 'inspection report tab' . click on that tab.
v) Give output device and see print preview.
U can see inspection report with all details.

You can take the certificates printout with QC21 or QC22 (as applicable). What information you are looking in inspection reports ? Then we can suggest the appropriate set of the reports

Inspection report layout form default

Hello Gurus,
We had created the new form for out inspection report on qa32 and trying to default the new customized form in result printout screen but unable to do the same. Again and again I need ot select my variant to get my new form even I still use the username as a variant.
I tried with variants to default it but not working .Is there any config to default the new form ?

Read following may help you
You called up report RQGAAM31 to print out the inspection report. However, variant I_TYP_01 is not maintained in this report for inspection type 01.
For report RQGAAM31, you can set up the variants in such a way that they are automatically called up, regardless of the inspection type.
For example, variant 'I_TYP_01' stands for inspection type '01', variant 'I_TYP_05' for inspection type '05' etc.
When you maintain the variants for the inspection types, you can control which layout set is to be used, for example.
If the printout is not to come from report RQGAAM31, then you can activate the appropriate customer exit (enhancement QSS10001) and with this, call up another report.

QA32 print form

Dear all ,
In tcode : Qa32 , i have select inspection lot & click on the inspection report print button
if we click we go to one more selection screen here print parameter by default one SAP form is coming
i want to change the same to my own defined form.
Varient we can do , but i want to know is the any setting in SPRO so that by default this user defined form should come.

Dear friend,
If you run t-code CQ85 you will be able to customize it.
You can easlily explore which form you currently use (as default).
Please note, you need to understand that you have a SAPscriptForm (use t-code SE71 to create/modify it)
and Print programs (use t-code SE80 to create or modify it) , output device , etc...
Please try in dev or sandpit system.

Inspection report smartform assignment

We have created a smartform for inspection reults printout. Can I assign this smartform to the inspection report print functionality instead of Sap script "QM_INSP_RESULT".
How can I assign the new smartform instead of standard form. Please let me know, or do I have to create a T Code for taking this print out.

Job Work - Party's inspection report

Dear All,
We are into process industry
We are receiving material with Party's Quality Inspection report for Job Work.
We are also doing quality inspection in our lab. Results are recording using QA32.
Now our requirement is :
1. We also want to insert Party's Quality Analysis.
   During MIGO, in Batch classification, we can enter batch characteristic.
   Is advisable to input during MIGO?
2. Based on this input we want to compare party's analysis and our analysis.
   Is there any report available?

Hi
The classification tab in MIGO will also allow to enter characteristic results. You can view these results in MSC3N against the batch. But if 01 is active and lot is created in QA32 for RR, the results are overwritten by the last recorded result in worklist.
So this classification is mainly useful if you dont want inspectiion lot to be created but want to record vendor results.
As FF explained, ou can maintain different operations. Or you cam make an inspection plan with MICs like Dia_act (result of testing done at your end), Dia_Ven( result by vendor) and dia_diff( Calculated char defininf difference between actual and vendor data).

Hi Gur,
There are a number of ways to print the Inspection Results:
1. From Transaction QA33 find inspection lots you are interested in, select the line and hit the 'Inspection Report' Icon and choose your print options.
2. From Transaction QE03, select your inspection lot, hit icon 'Result Printout' and choose your options.
3. Use transaction QGA3, select your inspection lot, make your uotput options and hit 'Execute'
There are many more! You are probably not going to like the standard output so I hope you are familiar with SAPScript!

inspection report (standard report) which we can see in qa 32 after UD shows lots of parameters like
-Status process completed
-to be inspected 4*100 ea
-attributes result is valid
and others
could we skip these or some of the details from this report ??????
or can we add some parameters / information in this report?????????

Hi,
the printout comes with the help of SAPScript "QM_INSP_RESULT".
In this SAP Script, you can do the necessary changes by copying it and making it workable for you with the help of ABAP/technical consultant.
Then re-assign your own SAPScript form while printing the inspection report to get the desired parameters instead of standard SAP Script.

Print Quote Report

Hi All,
I have a requirement to develop the custom print Quote Report. When i review the standard pring quote report ,I found a call like <?call-template:TermsTemplate?>.
This statment itself is getting all the Terms and Conditions for that report. when i looked in the ASOPRTXSL.xsl, I see the below statement

<xsl:call-template name="PrintContractTerms"/>
</xsl:template>
I am pretty new to XSL, dont know what's happening here. Please help me ASAP

I'm fairly new to Oracle Quoting and trying to get familiar with it. I have a few questions and would appreciate if anyone answers them
1) We have a requirement to customize the Print Quote report. I searched these forums and found that this report can be defined either as a XML Publisher report or an Oracle Reports report depending on a profile option. Can you please let me know what the name of the profile option is?
2) When I select the 'Print Quote' option from the Actions drop down in the quoting page and click Submit I get the report printed and see the following URL in my browser.

No, there is no conc program getting called, you can directly call a report in a browser window, Oracle reports server will execute the report and send the HTTP response to the browser.4) If we want to customize the jsp pages can you please let me know the steps involved in making the customizations and testing them.
