QI material cannot be make MB1A

Hello,
I have a material in Quality Management Tab of it, inspection set up was tick and maintain. Insp.Type: 08 (Stock transfer inspection) was active. and it has a stock of 2800 pc in MMBE in Quality Inspection. we want to scrap this stock, we made MB1A movement 553 on this one, i have an error message doing this (Change the Inspection stock of material 11111 in QM only) how could we make this to process and make the stock be SCRAP.

Phone is searching...cannot text, make or receive calls

I have powered off and back on and it's still doing the same thing. I have an unlimited data plan, but cannot get onto the internet either. However, I can connect to the wifi at my work and am receiving emails and can get online. Still cannot text, make or receive calls.

Were you able to resolve this issue? Mine did the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. Took it into the Diamond Wireless Premier Provider Kiosk where I had purchased and signed up...after powering down, going to plane mode and trying a reset - nothing happened. They sent a new one to me and alas after another week...same thing. They're sending another one - I'm tired of this happening.

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

L9 528 - Material cannot be used in Inbound Delivery because QM is active

Hi Colleagues,
So we have HUM products going into a warehouse managed location and we know that we cannot create an inbound delivery for these items if QM is active without 'HU inspection' selected in the QM inspection type of the material master
So the question
Is there anyway round this so that we can trigger the inspection lot creation at the goods receipt posting rather than at the HU level in the packing of the inbound delivery
Does anyone know if SAP plan to support this in the future?

We are not using HUM however using WM. Nonetheless, the problem persist while creating inbounds.
We are trying to use the following approach to address this problem.
uncheck 'relev. for putaway' indicator from 'ELN' item category thus enabling VL31N to by-pass the hard stop incurred due to QM activation.
SAP's reason for this hardstop is to avoid inconsistencies that may arise when TO's are created for inbound deliveries before GR is posted. This scenario does not pertain to us since TO for inbounds before GR is not applicable. Therefore, we are enabling the above configuration. By doing this, we are breaking the link between inbound delvy's and WM, and thus disabling the functionality of creating TO's referencing inbound delvy's (transactions like LT03, LT0F become irrelevant).
But, this process will not work if we implement HUM since standard SAP will not allow to create a putaway TO referencing a TR or a material document. It becomes imperative to create a TO referencing a delvy, but this configuraton will break that link hence it will not work.

Material With Different Makes

Guys ,
The client where our Implementation is going on , has material like motors , pumps etc. of different makes like Siemens, Kirloskar etc. in his stock.
What I would like to know , should we maintain Material Master for different makes.
If I do that, than I end up making lot of Material Masters.
Kindly suggest solution

This suggestion is from different perspective hence think which ever is viable for your requirement.
How about going with Split valuation using one material code
The SAP R/3 System allows you to valuate stocks of a material either together or separately, that is, according to different valuation criteria. Split valuation is necessary if, for example:
1. Stock from in-house production has a different valuation price than externally procured stock.
2. Stock obtained from one manufacturer is valuated at a different price than stock obtained from another manufacturer.
3. Different batch stocks of a material have different valuation prices.
4. Value damaged and repair part differently from a new part.

Standra cost run (material cannot be costed)

Dear Guru's,
Can any one help me, I have one material which is created under Non - Stock (material type :NLAG) item,
user raised sales order and billing document on that material, while releasing billing document to finance it is searching for current planned price. CO-PA is activated. while running standrard cost estimate run in ck11n and ck40n one error message showing that is Material PSERVICE cannot be costed. pserivce means material name, for this material master there is no costing tabs.

In accordance with material type NLAG for material PSERVICE, the material is not relevant for costing.
System Response

Procedure
1. Check the master data for material PSERVICE.
Display material master record
2. If you have authorization for Customizing, check whether the material type is correctly set for this material. A material can only be costed if the Costing indicator in the material type is set.

Hi,
Most of the materrial types like FERT, HALB, ROH can be costed. Exception is like this non-stock material type.
With out costing view, it is not possible to perform standard cost estimate.

Variant material cannot be configured

Hi Gurus,
I basically setup 2 types of items i.e. material type HAWA and DIEN. Material type HAWA I tied Material is configured in Basic Data 2 attached a variant config characters. During sales order, the characteristics pop-up and I can enter the addtional data.
However for DIEN material, the screen cannot pop-up and when i click on the configuration button, error display Item 000020 cannot be configured Message no. V1469. Any clue what is the cause of the error?

What is the item category for the DIEN item in the sales order? Check that. May be it is coming up with TAN ( or equivalent) which is not configurable. Check the Item cat group in the material master, then the item cat assignment in config and change them as needed. In the standard system item cats TAC, TAM are set up for configuration. So try to lead the item cat to be determined as TAC for example. Hope this helps,

IPod frozen - cannot restart - makes strange noises whilst trying to charge

my iPod is dying!
the iPod froze while i was listening to my tracks and i tried to restart it (as i've done it before) and nothing happened. Then i noticed the icon that indicates that the battery is totally drained and i have to charge the ipod at least for 30mins before iTunes will recognize it again.
Ive charged it now much longer then 30mins, that icon has disappeared as soon as i connected the ipod to my charger and there is the black screen with the white apple, the ipod did get warm, still makes strange sounds as if it restarts or something and the screen goes grey and empty back to black screen with white apple. it wont stop doing it.
What is wrong with it???? Cant use public transport anymore without my ipod pls help, am desperate!

thanks - tried but unfortunately didn't help. At the moment, when i try to charge it i get the battery sign for a little while, then the ipod restarts again. over and over again. iTunes still won't recognize my iPod.
I've called technical support ("Hello, how's your iPod today? - well, what ya think when i call you guys???) and will go to the iPod store tomorrow in case they might be able to restore my iPod and recover the tracks that Ive got on it...fingers crossed.

Material documents that make up the ACtual figures in MCRE/MCRO

Dear all
I would like to see all the material documents which resulted in ACTUAL figures of of MCRE & MCRO.Sometimes u see actual figures in negitive quantity.Why is it so?

You can get the material documents from MSEG.
First select all the material document header rows from MKPF for the posting date (BUDAT).
Enter these material documents in the MSEG table to get the details of the documents. Here the field AUFNR would give the order number (Discrete and REM order).

FaceTime cannot receive/make call on iPad2

Hi,
I am facing problem with using Facetime on my iPad2. I am not able to receive call or make call although I am signed in to Facetime. I could call from my MacBook Air to my iPhone (or vice versa) but when I tried calling to my iPad2, it didn't get connected (no ringing at all). Any one has any resolution / recommendation?

LT10 - material cannot be transferred due to lock

We are doing LT10 transfer of material from on st type to another. Since there is a lock symbol against the line, we are not able to proceed.
what does this lock symbol means?
How do we go ahead and transfer the material to new st type.

LT10 is the transaction used to transfer stock from bin to bin. (Nothing but a manual TO)
Only for -ve quant there will be lock.
this is why because we can able to move only the +ve quant to some other storage bin.

Cannot print/make pdf unless change settings

I have two printers: An HP 6400 and a Kyocera/Mita 2550.
Both worked fine a couple of upgrades ago. However now there is a problem. If I print to the HP, no problem. If I print to the Kyocera however, I hit the final print button and nothing happens. Print screen remains there with highlighted print button. If I try to create a PDF, same result and same solution "fixes" it.
However if I then go to the printer menu and change some random setting and then change it back to the original setting, I can print.
I have wiped the drivers, replaced them and re-setup the printers to no avail. Anyone have any hints?

It works if I bind a chart to a model. e.g. oChart.setModel(model);
However if I use a model name, it will not work e.g. oChart.setModel(model, 'example');
