QM Activation view

Friends,
How to see in which materials QM view is activated and in which QM view is not activated in total material list?
Pl. guide.....

hi,
goto MM50 and insert all materials in that transaction.
Enter tak list type,
enter plant code and select all material from mm60 and pase it over there and exeute, u will get the materials which are not have QM view in material master.
Cpy all material and paste in to excel

A bug with flags and active view? Or is it a (bad) feature?..

As I mark an image in a folder view as flagged and then switch to a collection view and look on the same image, it's not flagged.
I expect, that information about marking the image as flagged remains on that image, not on a current active view.

It's as designed - Flags are local to a Folder/Collection.

Difference between refresh of Report in Active Viewer and Active Studio BAM

We use the Oracle SOA Suite with BAM (on Linux) 10.3.2.0.
I have 2 questions:
1. We have made a report with several items and in Active Studio --> Select Report --> Edit mode --> I see the correct values for my report. When I open my report in Active Viewer I see data from yesterday. The report is not being refreshed. How can I change this, what is causing this difference between Active Viewer and Active Studio in Edit mode??
2. One of my items in my report always gives the message: opening (only in Active Viewer, in Active Studio/edit mode I can see the correct data).

Is your popup blocker turned off? I can only imaging that the popup blocker may be keeping the Live Data window from appearing and updating the dashboard. Active Studio doesn't do a Live update, but an update on report load.

Safari 6: What happened to "Activity" view? Also Web Inspector Network view doesn't work.

I "upgraded" to Safari 6 and while it's super-fast and snappy as ****, I'm missing two features:
1) Activity view is gone! It was the easiest way to see what kind of crap websites are loading and you could double click on files and view them. Now that's gone.
2) I then tried using Web Inspector to try to track down a FLV file that was being loaded (something that worked with old Safari) and I couldn't do it anymore... Flash loading is not visible in Safari 6 and yet it was in previous Safari.
Ugh... new Safari is a great but they took two of my favorite options
Is there something I'm missing or are these features really gone?

If you have the ClickToFlash extension installed, that can prevent Flash based video from streaming. It can also be installed as a plugin in /Library/Internet-Plug-Ins.
Check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari.
And try uninstalling the currently installed Flash plugin then reinstall new > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Open System Preferences > Flash Player then select the Storage tab. Click: Delete All

Is there a way to automatically open the Activity Viewer & make it float?

I just upgraded from Panther Mail, and I really miss knowing what was going on and having to constantly open the activity viewer and reordering the windows every time I do something. Is there a way to somehow make the activity viewer open with mail each time and keep it floating above the other windows (so I can have an indication of what's going on like in Panther Mail)?
I'm afraid I'm going to shut mail down in the middle of a crucial activity. No doubt that might well be behind all the problems that develop with it over time.

I had two problems relating directly to the Tiger upgrade, one I solved with help here. That was importing saved mail that failed to be imported into one mailbox, the saved messages were showing up as IMAP messages ("haven't been downloaded from the server yet"). When both my accounts were POP, I never even had an IMAP account. I solved that and everything else with mail is fine now, except I want to see what's going on like I was able to in Panther. I especially miss not seeing outgoing mail sent progress, especially with long messages.
The other issue was font related, and I still cannot get Fontbook to save the fonts I have disabled, so I just removed the duplicates manually (leaving the ones in the system folder as the defaults). As long as I don't open fontbook again, and it doesn't automatically re-enable the fonts, my system is fine. I will leave it alone now for a couple of years like I was able to in Panther. I have over 3000 fonts installed and available at all times which I need for my print work.
Other than that and a 25 minute log-in time (as it reads the fonts; in Panther it was 7 minutes and I learned to live with that) everything is finally ok.
The long log-in might also be Spotless related; I don't know enough about it to figure it out; all I know is if it is, it is a small price to pay for the way the system flies not having to index all my loaded drives all the time, not to mention the wear and tear on my drives.
Tiger is so much faster than Panther (once I shut down Spotlight) it's like having a processor upgrade. Once you work out all the glitches, it's definitely worth the money and time put in. I was very careful with the install... counting backup time the usual precautions and updates to everything afterward (including third-party programs), it took over 30 hours.

Checked-In Activities not showing in Activation View

All,
Having a bit of trouble with our NWDI that just started happening.   Normally, when we check-in an activity in the Open Activities view of the Development Configurations perspective in NWDS, we should be getting a dialog that asks whether we want to go ahead and activate that activity.   This is no longer happening.
Additionally, if we switch to the Activation view in NWDS, the activities do not appear there.
We have a work-around (going through the CBS web UI, finding the activities, and manually activating them), but it's less than desirable.
Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?    Perhaps issues with the NWDI track? Any suggestions are welcome.

I have tried what you suggested, but this appears to only be another work around (I'll still award you some points though, because I think it was helpful).   I am a member of both the NWDI.Administrators UME group and the NWDI.Developers group, so I can see all pending activities for all users when i apply the filter.
However, when I do not apply the filter (current user), I can not even see my OWN activities, despite having admin privileges on that user.   Perhaps something is incorrect in the assigned actions for the NWDI.Developer role?
However, I appear to have the correct actions assigned...
UME -- sap.com_com.sap.lcr -- LcrInstanceWriterNR
UME -- CMS -- Display
UME -- CMS -- Export
UME -- CBS -- Developer
Any other ideas of what might be causing this issue?   We are on NW SP15 and are also using the SP15 version of NWDS.

Broken DCs & activation view

Hi,
I have created new WDJ DC project in MSS Component e.g mss/transfer using the same track.
My Project is working fine without any issues, no build errors or no activation errors.
Now i'm trying to release this project but i not able to do that.
After check-in my request is long time waiting under the Activation View, it is not moving to the Transport view at all.
I viewed the Component Build Service(CBS), status is like below.
Buildspaces
TRACK_D = Total Dcs : 205, Broken Dcs : 205, Dirty Dcs : 0, Active : YES, input : Open, Request Processing: ON
& TRACK_C is same but Broken Dcs is 179 .

so what to do next?

HI,
1) There might be some Dependent DCs for the DC you have created and they might not be deployed .
IDentify them any deploy them from NWDS. in DC perspective, you can right click on the dependent DCs and deploy.
2) The other reason can be may be you have not checked in some of the activities in which the Dependent DCs were modified.
so if there are any, check in them and try to activate again .

Automatic Refresh not happening on BAM Report in Active Viewer

Hi,
I am on SOA 11.1.1.4 and is connecting to an External Datasource (Oracle Database) to create Data objects. But when i am creating a report on it, I am not able to see the report in Active viewer getting refreshed automatically instead I have to Reprompt for the changes. I want the reports to automatically refresh after an interval, any help will be highly appreciated.

Gnome 3 activity view hangs??

I am using Gnome 3.2.1-1
If I activate the activity view ( by holding mouse in upper right corner), normally several icons appear to show my applications available. Nothing appears when I do it now.
Also, if I type in the search bar of the activity view, then the activity view "crashes" and returns to a desktop view.
How do I search for my issue?

P.S. Over the past few days while using Gnome 3 , the system logs out back to the login screen without warning. Are these problems related?

can your graphics card can do full 3D?

Hotmail active view problem

Last week suddenly Hotmail Drag & Drop feature stopped working. I thought it was only a browser or cache problem, but it doesn't work on Aurora either, nor other browsers like Chrome, only works in IE8+ and IE9.
I realized it was the whole "active view" features that wasn't working and it showed Hotmail in classic view all the time.
I wrote to Hotmail Live about this and they asked me to ask the browser's support team about my concern.
I am not convinced it is a browser issue. I haven't upgraded my browsers recently. I'm not the only one with this problem.

Since last week active view has gone missing and I can no longer preview any photos or videos. Tried today with IE and there isn't a problem, it's only when I use Firefox.

System Profile= 5.5GB RAM but Activity Viewer= 1.5GB RAM ???

I've been running 1.5GB of ram on my G5 Dual 2GHz for a couple years. I'm running 10.3.9.
I just purchased and installed 4GB of RAM from Crucial.
Why is the System Profile showing 5.5GB and the Activity Viewer still showing 1.5GB?

Does that explain why the Activity Monitor periodically (just noticed it) changes back and forth the amount of total RAM being 1.5GB and 5.5GB! Is the AM only showing the newly added RAM when the free RAM and the Inactive RAM gets too low? That would seem odd.
The AM has always shown the total RAM as 1.5GB (since I bought the computer). that is why I assumed that the AM shows the total physical RAM by the number under the pie chart. Now I see that number usually bieng 1.5GB and then briefly showing 5.5GB.

I have undestOOd, that i work with MM17 to active view qm with any fields from this view. After with qa08 i can insert inspection type.
Is it ok?

No first MM17 & then QA08
Only care is to be taken you should know which fields you want to populate or active QM view through QA17

Anyway of reading the Safari "activity" viewer...

I want to write a custom youtube download script. I have started working on a long convoluted one that uses tcpflow when the video is playing, but the easiest way is to get the download location from the 'activity' viewer. I do not know how to get applescript to read this?
Any ideas?

Well, if you are looking for convoluted, then System Events will be right up your alley. You can use the UIElementInspector application to get the various attributes to plug in to System Events (the "Enable access for assistive devices" will need to be enabled in System Preferences > Universal Access), for example:

In Mail, how do you get the Activity Viewer window to stay in front when checking for new mail?

Activity viewer?

Is there any type of activity viewer or progress indicator for the publishing of an iWeb site? Sure would be great to know how long I'm in for when making updates or changes to the site. I would like to build on my blog...but right now it takes so bloody long for the site to upload...I'm discouraged from making updates. Anyone else have this issue?

In iWeb 1.1.1 there are little clock-icons on the left of each of your sites that show how far along they've Published so far.
