QM - INCOMING CERTIFICATE CONFIRMATION

Dear all
I have created a Inspection lot for a incoming raw material and the same is displayed in the Quality stock of MMBE. But in the results recording , pop appears that characteristic results cannot be recorded for the inspn lot because the material master for the existing insp. Type is set up in such a way  that results recording is not supported. But in the MM01 u2013QM view, 01 type is activated & preferred inspn. Type is also ticked, post to inspn. Stock, inspn. With task list is also marked.
But QM procurement is active, QM control key u2013 9999, Certificate type u2013 E22, Target QM system u2013 9003.
So the system status displays u2013 u201CREL CALC SPRQ CTCM = Certificate Confirmation missingu201D. How to confirm the incoming certificate. One way is in the UD screen. Since the problem occurs here before in the results recording itself, should I confirm in the MIGO stage itself. If certificate has to be confirmed in the MIGO screen, Please tell me how to do the same.
Regards
Selva

Dear,
Certificate type will define the following controls
Certificate for each PO/GR item
Check on certificate check required
Set control w/o certificate FIELD as E
Enhanced cert processing  tick on.
DO the GR with certicate received – no
See the status of insp lot CTCM- certificate conf missing
But you cannot do GR as it is disaloowed
Proceed as below
Goto QC51 and give PO and item no and click ok
Select the appropriate line and click copy
Here you change the certificate status that 5 i.e. certificate field and inspected, mention the certificate date and save
Now see the status of insp lot  CROK- certificate receipt confirmed.
Now do UD, it will go through.

  • Incoming Certificate Request for Stock Transfer(inspection type 08)

    Hi Everybody,
The system asks for incoming certificates when a material is received from external vendor(Inspection Type 01).
Can we configure the QM system such that system requests incoming certificate for material coming via Stock Transfer(Inspection Type 08) also ? If yes, please give details regarding how to do it.
    Regards,
    Manish.

Talk to your purchasing guru.  Stock transports can also be set up to look like incoming 01 inspections.  I believe it has to do with the delivery type that is assigned to the order type.  Using a different delivery type wiht the order, the system will treat it as an external vendor's delivery and will create 01 inspection lots instead of 08.
It MIGHT also ask for the certificate.  I won't swear to that as it was stated by the previous poster, this is controlled by the control key and that is usually linked to the purchase orders.  I have known some places to use purchase orders for replenishment supply from other plants.

  • Storage of incoming certificates

    Hi All,
I am trying to store an original attached to a certificate using the menu in transaction QC52 Edit-->Archive Original. I am selecting the Doc.Type QMICERTPDF and one file on my PC. It seems to work fine but when I save the certificate i get error message OA009 "SAP ArchiveLink: Storage system  not known (Customizing)".
I have been trying to solve this in customizing but I didn't manage to work it out, please guide me ion how to do the customizing for this option.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

In customizing you define the archive link under
    QM>Quality Certificates>Process Output-->Define Archive Link
In there you define the document type to the Archive link, which is typically a table like TOA01 which is where the data records are kept.  You also define the Content Repository Identification which links to a physical device.  That in is defined by the Basis team to an actual storage device like an optical drive.
My guess is that you have an SAP default value in the field and there is no actual storage device set up for that.  I would consult with your basis team.

  • Incoming Payment Confirmation EDI 824

We are using Third party Printer to Print Checks (F110) and Remittance and then they mail the checks and Remittance to the Vendors. We are using EDI 820 and 831. There will be a separate EDI 820 file for each check and then EDI 831 file will be the total of all checks. E.g. for 10 checks there will be 10 EDI 820 files and 1 EDI 831 files which will the total of EDI 820 files. A few hours after transmitting checks (the 820’s and 831), we receive an 824 summary document telling if the transmitted file is ok.  That is, the count and total amount of all the checks matches the count and total in the control totals 831 file.
Does any body tell me how and where I process this Inbound 824 Ack/Summary  file in SAP. Thanks in advance

  • What are the required settings for Quality Certificate

    Hi Team
What are the required settings for Quality Certificate for Raw material from vendor. This is my RR - Result Recording  for inspection lot.
Please sugget me T-Code to view this.
Can I see say for 6-9 months RR done insp. lot.
    Thanks

Settings for Quality Certificate for Raw material from vendor,
Activate QM Procurement key, enter qm control key with certificate and Enter certificate type in certificate field.
    There are 2 cases,
u want details of certificate send by vendor
u want to record results and see inspection lot wise results.
    case1
depending upon the certificate selected by u, system will give u warning or error msg for certificate confirmation at the time of gr. for confirmation QC51 t_code is used. here status has to be changed to 'filed and inspected' then gr will be allowed.
all these certificates can be dispalyed in QC55 T_CODE.
    CASE2
U can record results and see in inspection report tab in QA33

  • Table for 'Yes/No' to Vendor Quality Certificate?

    Dear all,
While doing GR against Purchase Order, there is a field under 'Purchase Order Data' which asks "Cert. enclosed?'. Is it standard field or customized one?
In front of "Cert. enclosed?' field a drop down is provided with two options-Yes and No.
Are these YES/NO get stored in any standard table?
When I saw Technical information of this particular field, I got Field Name: ANSWER & TABLE: QCERT_MIGO.
Edited by: Sagar Irabatti on Oct 20, 2011 9:27 AM

    Hi Sagar,
That field is purely std one..
f you activated QM in procurement and certificate receipt is a must in Define Control Keys and Define Keys for Certificate Processing, then system will propose a field to enter whether you received the certificate or not.
If the certificate is not received and you entered No during GR, then the inspection will be updated with "certificate not received" and you cannot proceed further.
Once you receive the certificate you can up date the status in QC52, which will update the status in quality inspection that certificate received so that it will allow further process.
    Please check following :
SPRO >> QM >> QM In logistics >> QM in procurement >> define key for certificate processing >>
select certificate type you assigned and see its details >> there will be tab for No certif. confirmation at GR , you remove the tick from this tab, system will show certificate confirmation tabs at MIGO.
    i hope you are clear
I will check and update the table and field
Just check JEST table its updating or not
    Regards

  • What is the use of confirmation tab in Purchase order ?

what is the use of confirmation tab in Purchase order?

    Hello Balaji
In Purchasing, the term Confirmation is an umbrella term for various kinds of information provided by a vendor to a customer with regard to ordered goods.
Possible types of confirmation include the following:
    Order acknowledgments
    Loading or transport confirmations
Shipping notifications. (Note that shipping notifications may also be referred to by a number of other names, including "advice (note)", "advice of dispatch", "ship notice", and "advance(d) shipping notice" ("ASN").)
A further form of confirmation frequently used in Purchasing is the Inbound Delivery, which is created on the basis of an incoming shipping notification. The shipping notification represents a vendor’s confirmation to a purchasing organization of a delivery date for a certain quantity of ordered materials (or the date of performance of ordered services).
You can enter incoming vendor confirmations manually. Alternatively, you can receive them via EDI and have them processed automatically.
When working with vendor confirmations, you have the following options:
You can enter the order acknowledgment number if you simply wish to provide a basis for monitoring the receipt or non-receipt of acknowledgments.
You should enter the confirmed quantities and delivery dates if you wish to provide more detailed information in support of the purchasing, inventory management, and materials planning/control functions within your enterprise.

  • Vendorwise certificates

    Hi all,
Can me maintain incoming certificates verdorwise ?
    for ex.
material 123 is supplied by 2 vendors (A and B)
A has to submit chemical test and risk annalysis
B has to submit material test report
In material master I can only enter 1certificate type. At the time of Ud I will not be able to know which vendor supplies which certificate.
Is there any master where in I can maintain this data ?

You can only track one certificate type via the QM in procurement process.  SAP best practices is expecting that for a material, the certs that are required are material based and the requirement should not change from vendor to vendor.  Why would you require one vendor to provide a different set of certs than another for the same material.  Seems a tad unfair.
Are you doing incoming inspections with this?
In an inspection lot you can set up a characteristic for each certificate you expect to receive and set up a simple pass/fail qualitative characteristic for them.  Create a separate inspection plan for each vendor.

  • Quality certificate receipt without inspection lot

    Hi Expert,
I have activated QM control key with certificate type but no quality inspection type activated but will take material in quality inspection through IM.
In this case where i can confirm certificate receipt.
    Regards,
    sandy

    Dear,
Thanks for reply pls let me explain the scenario.
I am taking material in quality through IM, mean i have not activated any stock relevant inspection type but ticked post to inspection stock in QM view.
Made PO and received the material it went to Quality stock while making GR i have selected certificate received NO as i can select Yes AND NO both are possible. So where i can receive certificate in this case here through movement type i can post material from quality to unrestricted.
So where i can restricted material should not post to unrestricted before Quality certificate confirmation.
As per Normal situation when lot is created i have to confirm certificate receipt at either of three steps.
1.While GR(Yor N) 2.Through QC51 3.Before UD .so generally i confirm certificate receipt before UD and can post material in unrestricted stock.

  • Upload certificate profile (QC01) USING LSMW?

    Hi,
is there any bapi/ standard method / ale/idoc for upload certificate profile (tcode qc01)?
    thanks,
    abaper

    Hi,
Pls check this Link Re: Certificate Profile QC01
Note : Quality certifiactes which is important for business, there are two types.
Incoming Certificate - while performing incoming inspection against MIGO (Vendor PO),quality inspector/engineer should prepare the certificate, this scenario is called Incoming certificate.
Outgoing Certificate - while performing Final inspection against Prod.order or Sale order delivery, quality inspector/engineer should prepare the certificate, this scenario is called outgoing certificate.
Quality certificate profile is mandatory with characterstics values.

  • SAP QM -CERTIFICATE

    Dear all
I want to create a new format for an outgoing test certificate with MIC's,recorded results, batch no., company address etc and take a print out in SAP. Is it possible in SAP to design a own certificate format or shall I have to use standard certificate profiles only, which seems to be containing not enough details. Please guide me how to create a outgoing certificate and take a print out. Or can the recorded results  be directly linked to the certificate profiles for a particular lot inspected.
I was told that incoming certificates can be accepted at the MIGO screen or in the UD screen. How to indicate that we have received an incoming certificate from a vendor for a raw material. Please tell me for both MIGO screen and in the UD screen also.
    Selvakumar

    Hi,
A certificate profile controls inspection lot selection, the sequence of characteristics, and the characteristic data.COA Profile contains the List of MICs in desired sequence in which the result for them is supposed to be printed in the COA.
Within the certificate profile, you determine the selection and sequence of the characteristics whose results are to be documented on the certificate. You can vary the origin and representation of the data for each characteristic. You can also withhold certain information from the certificate, if, for example, you do not want to reveal a certain measured value.
At the header level of the certificate profile, you can define restrictions for selecting inspection lots and partial lots. For example, you may want to specify that only lots with a quality score of at least 80 are considered. At certificate creation, the system selects all inspection lots and partial lots for the material (and batch, if necessary) that meet the selection criteria and have a usage decision. The characteristics are then retrieved from the most recent inspection lot or partial lot in this list. (The lot creation date is the determining factor.)
If further clarity required, pls go through link.

  • Q Certificate for Trading Goods

    Hi,
Trying to implement the following scenario.
A trading house relies on the Certificate of analysis provided by its vendor as it does not have Q Testing.
It just simply wants to forward the Q Certificate it receives from the vendor to its customer, but all through SAP ERP.
I have no clue how to get this working.
Could any QM guru help me?
    Regards & Thanks in advance,

You may be able to use the incoming certificates functionaliy for this.
When a COA is received, it can be scanned as a PDF and attached to the a incoming COA record vai transaction QC51.  Once attached, when a shipment is made, the shipping person can use QC55 (worklist) to locate the original receipt and print out the scanned PDF to attach to the shipping papers or ship out.
This is of course all manual.
You might be able to use a user exit in the delivery to do the manual process of locating the original COA in QC55 and reprinting it as you should have all the info required in your delivery to to identify it.
Otherwise, you would have to record the data from the received COA into an inspection lot.  Then set up an outgoing COA profile and output types so the cert can be printed out.  These would normally have your own companies logo, address and information on them unless you did some customization.  The first solution above would actually be a print out of your supplier's COA. Not your's.
