QM & Technical Status are RED thouh request is running

Hi,
I have one request which is running even now-- (load to ODS)
in the monitor the request is running but in the manage tab of the data target both traffic lights of technical And QM status were RED!
Before the load was scheduled i had changed the ODS settings to see the QM status automatically and activate the ODS data data automatically.
This is very huge dataload and if there is anything wrong then i need to change it immedietly ! it takes nearly 40 hours to finsih this load--
Should there anything to change or is it OK?

Hi Raj
In General the moment you made the Qm status to RED it is
automatically stop all the related jobs or process in some
pecular cases you to kill the process via SM 50 . Just conatc t
your BASIS people immdeiately on this and ask themn to kill
the process related to the request.
And do the rest of the process like deltion of the request or
what ever...

Forcing technical status to RED

I have a load running for a while. I turned the overall status to red, but the technical status remains yellow and its still picking up records from source system. I tried killing the process in SM50, the jobs seems to die but to only reappear after sometime. I think I need to turn my technical status to red, to stop the process.
How can i turn the technical status to red? Any inputs or pointers would be appreciated.

tell your basis team to stop the job in SM50, as these jobs requires special authorization for cancelation which only admin person can do:)

check in Status tab--there will be a short dump..then go to ST22.
and also
Go to SM37 ..check for your JOB name and user
and find your job..it will be cancelled.. double click your job and read the job log (pencil on document).
there will be a some error.SYNTAX Error.

Process Chain Status is Red even though all processes are successful.

I implement ABAP Code by using standard function module "RSPC_CHAIN_START" for execute process chain and return status of process chain after execute completely as following code:

From above code, when execute this function module, sometimes status of process chain is shown as canceled 'X', therefore, output of this function module is shown as "The process chain is canceled". When monitor process chain in RSPC log view, the process chain status is also shown as canceled 'X' and status of all process in process is green, however, after wait for a while, the status changed from canceled 'X' to successful 'G'.
Why did the status of process chain show as canceled 'X' even though finally process chain status is successful ? If I want to check status of process chain after execute completely, which status should to check in ABAP code?

Using that FM.. u will be providing the Instance and Variant of the failed process.. and hence the reload will start from the failed process but not the entire chain...
In general the process status shud finish then or based on the link combination the change from one process to other will happen...
try to maintain a wait time between the process atleast 2 to 4 secs..

Overall status yellow, but technical status is green

We are on SAP BI 7.0, SP 17.
I am having an issue with a few DTP's. I am loading from a cube to 3 DSO's. The process was working correclty for quite a while, but lately has been running extremely long. For something like 7,000 to 8,000 records it takes only 43 seconds for the DTP to finish and the technical status to change to green. However, it takes 2 hours for the overall status to change to green and sometimes it doesn't at all and I have to set it to red so that I can delete it.
While it is trying to change the overall status to green the DSO is locked - I can't get into the DSO manage screen - gives me an error message about the locks. I have read some fairly similar posts already, but none that I have seen seem to have the exact issue as I'm having. Does anyone have any ideas why the overall status is not being updated?
I have tried re-activating the target DSO, source cube and DTP, but that didn't work. I also tried to create a brand new DTP, but that also didn't work. Also, this process is already in a process chain. I am compressing the cube on a weekly basis. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Brett.
We are experiencing similar problems. I am loading initial load from a DSO with a very high number of requests to a infocube.
Apparently there is a overflow of the lock table (SM12). There is a lock for each request in the DSO and when the number of locks reaches 3500 the DTP stalls. If I manually set the overall status to green, I get the lock table overflow error message.
I've told my basis team to increase the enque/table_size parameter, I'll let you if that has any effect.

XI runtime Cache status showing red in Tcode SXI_CACHE

Hi,
After i installed XI the installation is successfull and everything is working except Cache.
I had checked the RFC destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and it is working fine .
but the problems are
1>SXI_CACHE XI runtime Cache status is red .when i click on display cache trigger it is giving error mesage"JCO.ERROR JCO.SERVER cannot find function 'SAI_CAC"
2>http://host:50000/CPACache/refresh?mode=full is giving error message "THE RESOURCE REQUEST DOESNOT EXIST"
3>In http://host:50000/CPACache/monitor.jsp
when i refresh i get an error page which says the cache was not initialized to central access
Please can any one help me on this

1.Goto integration builder and goto "Tools" -->Cache notifications.
If you see anything in red try to refresh the cache for that item.
2. Also in SXI_CACHE txn goto menu bar and "START Complete Cache Refresh in Background" and "Delta Cache Refresh".
this should take care of this.
CPA Cache: Have you defined a user for this? there should be xidiruser to do this.

Hi,
If the update mode is "Delta" we need to follow this procedure so that the system recognises the next incoming Delta would not be normal delta but "Repeat Delta".
Repeat Delta means it picks up the data of previous delta(the one which has been deleted) as well as any new delta records.

> INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI</b>
Now press the Connect Test button, and chek it every thing is ok. You should not get any error!!.
If above one is ok in all three systems, then second option is
Go to tcode <b>SICF -
> default_host --->sap -
>xi</b> check if all the services are active (if active, will be in pure black color), if not active then activate them, may be you will require authorizations for this work.
Try the above solution and it will work.

Status area in latest premiere

In the latest update, the status area is not visible in the bottom right. I can only see part of the status, and when I expand the window, the whole status area goes away. Any thoughts?

I'm glad I'm not the only one having issues with the random red frame plague. my current set up is a brand new Sony PXW X200 with the latest version of premiere cc 2014. During export, the final video created a totally unudable video that has the aforementioned red frames that makes thus set up impossible to rely on
I have spent three hours each day last week going around in circles with the Adobe online support team, unsuccessfully getting this problem solved. No one seems to have an answre for me which makes it even more frustrating to deat with. All I got was a not so reassuring "

Request still running no idocs are arrived into BI

Hi Experts,
I'm working on EHP1[BI 7.01] and trying to load the data from R/3 system with generic data source. The records are updated in PSA[data source] and which is showing "12:25:21 ( 15 From 0 Records ) " and with yellow status with the below information.
Request still running
Diagnosis
No errors found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
System Response
The ALE inbox of BI is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
or
the maximum wait time for this request has not yet been exceeded
or
the background job has not yet finished in the source system.
Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.
I checked different threads relating to this issue with different solutions like checking WE20, BD87, tRFC etc., but still i'm unable to resolve this.
This is very urgent issue could anyone please help me in resolving this issue..

I mean.. Once u press Source system.. it will ask u for the ID and PWD.. once u give that.. it will ask for the data range .. by default it will be todays date as ur has started today only.... and then execute...
it will take u to SM58 screen.. there u just see the status of the different IDOC entries... if u can see the Executed as status then u can press F6 to push it to BW..
If u see the status as Executing then u need to wait as the operation is still running....
.. In practive if u feel that this load is taking long time compared to the actual.. then u can go ahead with the the repeat of the load by killing the present load in the source system.. and removing the bad req from the ur target..

Error icons showing in DP config status area

One of my distribution points had connection issues back in three months ago. The X red color error icon is still showing next to that DP in Monitoring > Distribution Status > Distribution Point Configuration Status area.
I want to see the green arrow instead. How?

Technical status nd QM status

QM is overall status of the request.
Technical status might be correct sometimes but the QM may be errorneous.
Secondly you cannot change the Technical Status but you can QM status.

Some SPAU object are red can I leave thm alone and not include them in SPAU

I have ran through SPAU and all are green checked except for 3 which are red or yellow.
I was told these object are only for the Build environment (DV1) or development and will not move forward.
Can I leave them out of SPAU altogether without adjusting them? and since these objects are local and not moved to integration or production will it matter to even process them?

I believe you can ignore those objects since it's local.
but any way better to discuss with the developers whether they intentionally cretated those requests local.
and more over they will verify the customization whether it needs in PRD or not. if not then you can ignore and go ahead for creating Transport request for the remaining objects.

Hi,
you need to setup a BOBJ server (eg. BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 or BO Edge 3.1) and then install the BusinessObjects integration Kit for SAP on the same machine your BOBJ server runs.
In order to build reports you can either use Crystal Reports (eg Install Crystal Report Designer 2008 V1 if you have an XI 3.1 server installed), WebIntelligence (Install the Business Objects XI 3.1 Client Tools in order to be able to build universes), BusinessObjects Voyager or XCelsius. Please note that you have to always install the BOBJ integration Kit for SAP (should be the same version as your server and client installation) on your clients AFTER you installed one or more of the above client tools.

Help with Loops!! All loops are RED and unclickable after Leopard upgrade.

I may need to just remove soundtrack pro from my computer and start from scratch again. When I upgraded to Leopard I failed to select preserve user settings when I did an archive and install. So therefore I had to find and drag files to the new library. This is on my Power Mac G5.
I have a Macbook Pro laptop and I used that as a guide of how I have that set up. On my G5, I have all my loops in the same folders they are in on my laptop. When I open STP, and pull up my loop files, they are all listed in red. When I try to click on them, nothing happens.
I have them set up as MAC>Library>Audio>Apple Loops>Apple Loops for Soundtrack Pro, Apple Loops for GarageBand, PowerFX Loops
I am not sure if I am dealing with a bunch of corrupt files and need to start with a new slate or what.
I also noticed that most if not all the audio loops end in .CAF instead of .AIFF in the folders. However when STP is open, the files ARE listed as .aiff files but they are red and non clickable.
Any suggestions appreciated!

Yea once I rearranged the loops and then opened STP and then Indexed those loops, I got everything back to normal except my Trumpet files. I cannot locate them anywhere. There are only 4 loops but I searched my HD and still can't locate where they are but I got everything else back to working.
