QM01 - Quality notification - Multiple Custom subscreens

Hi,
Please let me know if it is possible to have multiple custom subscreens under one tab for quality notification. We already have one custom subscreen "0101" and requirement is to add one more at the bottom of 7200 screen. Please advise

SPRO-->Quality management >Notification> Overview of notification types-->Select the notification & 90 give the customer specific screen area
this is the process where we will add the screen...
Go to Function group is XQQM in SE80....create the screen which you have added in config...example 0090 ....
No wgo to includes tab you will see one z*TOP include there you declare the fields you want on this custom screen ....
example : dist type char3.
In the PBO and PAI validations you can make for the added fields as we do in normal Module pool.
In the PAI event create a module and pass the values to the structure VIQMEL.
for example if your added field is dist.
Pass as
VIQMEL-dist = dist.
Go to cmod create a project ,give the enhacement QQMA0001.
In the exit EXIT_SAPMIWO0_009
Pass those values to the req structure which needs to be populated.
example :
i_viqmel-dist = dist.
move-corresponding i_viqmel to e_viqmel.
--> Go to standard table where the values need to be updated(qmel) add one append structure with the req fields

Quality Notification- Action Box

HI,
I am configuring Quality Notifications for Customer related defect and Material defect. In Action Box I have to include transfer posting from unrestricted to quality inspection and also transfer posting from unrestricted to Blocked stock.
I want to know which functional module I have to include in customization of action box and also which Functional module should be processed when doing saving.
I have used functional module QMLR_CREATE_INSP_LOT and Functional module which have to be processed while saving is QMLR_CREATE_INSP_LOT_STEP2 for vendor related defects.
Now to configure Customer related defect and Material defect, what Functional module I have to use and what Functional module I have to use while to process saving.

Quality notification is like a complaint report. By using tcode QM01, you can create.
In this give input of material no in reference object tab page.
In subject give coding, ex.. rewok, rejection.and complaint qty.
In execution give the coordinator name.
After that release.
Reward points if useful.

Creating a quality notification:
1.Choose Logistics-> Quality management -> Quality notification-> Create.
2.Enter the notification type and then choose Enter.
Notification types:
Q1 - Customer complaint
Q2 - Complaint against vendor
Q3 - Internal problem
Another dialog box may be displayed before the notification is created, depending on how the quality notifications were customized. If a dialog box is displayed, you may have to enter additional reference information (for example, a material, sales order or delivery).
Creating a user-specific quality notification
1.Choose Logistics -> Quality management -> Quality notification -> Create.
2.Enter the notification type and then choose Enter.
To be able to create a user-specific notification, you must specify a user-specific notification type that has been predefined in Customizing.
Creating a quality notification with reference
1.Choose Logistics -> Quality management -> Quality notification-> Create.
2.Enter the notification type.
3.Enter the number of the notification you want use as a copy model and choose Enter
To reduce the amount of data that you need to enter, you can use an existing quality notification as a copy model. You can use any notification type as a copy model, regardless of the notification type for the new notification.
When you save the new quality notification, the notification you used as a copy model is saved at the same time in the notification. This means that you can later select the quality notifications that were created using certain references.
Changing a quality notification
1.Choose Logistics-> Quality management -> Quality notification -> Change.
2.Enter the number of the notification you want to change and choose Enter.
Make the necessary changes to the notification and then save the data

Is there any way I can reference multiple Batches to single quality notification?
Present solution Proposed - Using user exit insert New Zfields to notification to enter Batch nos manually.
is there any other standard enhasment where multiple batch entry can be done!

Dear Sadan,
There is a chance of happening this due to that field is marked as mandatory.
I hope this would happen, when Pm guy was making settings for the notification fields.
He might have made this filed mandatory w/o any reference of Notification type (Influencing in spro filed selection), If he doesnt select Influencing and Notification type, that field Mandatory will effect all the Notification types.
So please check with ur PM guy and change the field setting for Notifications and ask him to use Influencing - Notification type and desired notification type.

QM01 - Add Production Order field to Create Quality Notification

Hi all SDNers,
I have searched and found many threads related to my question BUT I'm new to this and I don't know how to implement in detail.
Would you please guide me step by step adding a field into a standard TCode?
My requirement is to add the Production Order field (VIQMEL-FERTAUFNR) to the Create Quality Notification (QM01) Tcode under the 1st screen in Reference Documents section of the Reference Objects tab.
The program is SAPMQM00 and screen number is 3011.

Hi all,
I used the screen number 0140 in program SAPLQM03 as the initial screen before creating Notification type Q2.
Use SPRO:
Quality Management --> Quality Notifications --> Notification Creation --> Notification Type
--> Define Screen Templates --> Define Initial Screens
Then use Function Module QM03_CREATE_QMEL_WITH_WINDOW and screen 0140 above to configure.

Can I copy one Custom Quality Notification TYPE to another TYPE (i.e. ZH to ZC)?

We need to make nearly identical Quality Notification Types to one we have already created. I've seen how to create one from one of the Standard SAP notification types but its pull-down copy-from only lists SAP ones and there seems to be no provision to enter any of our customized ones.
It is more trouble than it should be to manually go line by line, screen by screen of the Dialog Structure in SPRO and make the same entries over again especially since we need two new QN Types.

good desing would be to somehow get the key and then save the attachment based on that, for some reason if thats not possible you can use BDS_BUSINESSDOCUMENT_COPY to copy from your 0000 version to new key

Search for User/Customer-Exit in Printing Quality-Notifications

because we want to use the standard of SAP, we don't want to use a custom print programm for our quality-notifications. One of the print programms is "RQQMUD01". Are there spezific User/Customer Exits for the print programs of the quality-notifications. Or do we have to copy the original print program and make our modifications? Thanks.

Action Box customizing for Quality notifications

Hi all,
In the customizing Quality Notifications ->Qualyty Notifications->Notification processing->Aditional Notification Funtions->Define Action Box. Inside of de Action definitions, a field for Workflows or Standard Task is avalilable. (in specific details for task).
Any one know how it works? No Binding defined?
I mean, in the customizing of Quality notification Actions, Workflow (or TS) could be included in the specific detail. I do not understand how that could work since no binding is defined.

Finally after a lot of tests, looks like the Workflow is trigered when save and recieve a Task object for inport parameter (I mean, my Workflow has as input object QMSM and it is been populated - Create Workitem in error if I add Notification as input too).
I hope this would be usefull if someone more has the same doubt in the future and look for some help in this foro.

Multiple 'F3' Quality Notifications for defects from single Service Order

Those of you working w/ the QM module no doubt know that if a failure is recorded against an inspection characteristic linked to a Production Order (Order category 10), that SAP standard functionality creates a Defect document (Quality Notification type 'F3'). Any subsequent failures recorded that are linked to that same Production Order (as well as the material & serial number) are recorded, as additional line item defectes, on that same 'F3' Quality Notification.
HOWEVER, I have found when failures are recorded against inspection characteristics for a Maintenance Order (Order Category 30), a new Defect document (Quality Notification type 'F3') is created for each failure that is recorded. Why is this?
My client wants only a single 'F3' Quality Notification to be created for any and all failures that are recorded against a single Maintenance Order. I do not see any way to accomplish this w/o a core mod. Understanding WHY SAP treats these two order categories differently will go a long way to assisting me in designing an adequate solution.

A couple more pieces of information....
1. We are currently running SAP Enterprise (4.7).
2. If I go to SPRO -> 'Quality Management' -> 'Inspection Lot Creation' -> 'Maintain Inspection Types', and display the details for Inspection Type 14 (which we use for Service Orders) the check box for 'One Q-notification per insp. lot' is active. Clearly the system is not processing a single Quality Notification per inspection lot on service orders.

Runtime Error DYNPRO_NOT_FOUND after transport of customer subscreen

Hi,
We have created a new customer subscreen 9002 using transaction OXK1. When the subscreen was transported to the quality system, the subscreen was not generated thereby causing a dump (error DYNPRO_NOT_FOUND) in transaction FB01 which was using the subscreen.
Are customer subscreens not regenerated automatically when they are transported?

Sometimes error happen in this process. Please re-generate your scrren.
goto OXK1 Select the screen and go to the menu option Subscreen -> Generate.

Quality notification - more reference objects

Hello,
business need is to have quality notification with possibility to refer either production order or purchase order under one notification type.
By standard this seems not possible as:
Complaint Against Vendor references to Purchase order
Internal Problem Report references to Production order.
But in section "User-specific notification" is mentioned
A user-specific notification type has the same basic structure as the standard, predefined notification types. The screen layouts, reference objects, and tab indexes, however, may differ from those in the predefined notification types, depending on how you customize the user-specific notification type.
But I have not found a way in customizing to enable this.

Thanks for the asnwer, but I think this does not solve my problem.
In the configuaration for "Notification Header and Screen Areas" I do have
- notification header screen H500
- customized screen O550 (BADI)
and both are needed.
The BADI is used to customize refernce object screen, not reference documents screen. But my idea was to change reference document screen area in a way, that both purhcasing and production reference documents are visible in there.
I only managed to get the vendor screen by adding screen area 037 to "Extended View: Tabstrips and Screen Areas" But adding purhcase document as reference to Reference documents remains my problem.
I am kind of able to make the vendor screen visible by e.g. adding screen area 037 Partner overview screen (table control).But creating a new pop-up window for notification reference, where both options (pur ord, prod ord) would be available with copying functionality - in my opinion this requiers completely custom coding.

Not able to print quality notification plant-wise.

We have notification type 'ZP' and we've assigned shop paper - ZC01 - to notification type 'ZP'.
When we create quality notification with notification type 'ZP' and try to take prints for different plants but still only 1 print out is coming for each plant.
We try to assign shop paper and desired number of copies to each plant in the customizing SPRO->Quality Management -> Quality Notification ->Notification Processing -> Define printer but still it is taking number of copies as 1 only.
Please help..

That's correct, we can specify no. of copies.
But I want to make default no. of copies for each plant.
So can we do this in customizing.

Electronic signatures for Quality Notifications

We are on 4.0b system and thinking of implementing electronic signatures functionality for quality notifications. Since SAP standard does not have this functionality we are planning to use Enhancement QQMA0014, function module exit EXIT_SAPMIWO0_020.
To this effect, we are requesting your guidance for the following
1.Is this customer exit available in latest version of SAP ?
2. If we store these signatures (user id , date and time) in an custom table, can we move this custom table ,once we upgrade to a higher version.
3. Is there any other way to implement electronic signatures for quality notifications in version 4.0b.

Thanks for your patience in understanding my question.
My primary worry is if i use this exit to have electronic signatures in 4.0b and i know this functionality (Electronic signatures) is standard in latest versions, what will happen to the electronic signature data that i create until i upgrade.
The electronic signature data is the user id , date and time associated with a notification. I plan to store this in a custom table.
I will appreciate , if you can share with me your analysis.
