Hi,
I want some help.
Recently i was Install Windows 7 on my Qosmio F30-112 that was WinXP.
I did back up my files before i install windows .7 Unfortunately, i've got only my files instead of the programs.
So my problem now is where i can get some programs which is important for me like DISC CREATOR & WIN DVD MOVIE FACTORY? Please somebody can help me?

Such applications and software were a part of the Toshiba image and are not downloadable.
You can use it only if you install the original Toshiba image on the Toshiba notebook.

With the release of JDev 11.1.1.4 and WLS 10.3.4 - where do we download the latest application development runtime (in order to install the JRF template in WLS)? The Fusion Middleware Download Page (where we can get 11.1.1.2 and 11.1.1.3 versions of this) say to visit the individual product pages for 11.1.1.4 versions. The app dev download is not on the WLS page. Is the JRF now included with WLS installs, or is the download hidden away somewhere else?

I just searched for 11.1.1.4 - perhaps not the best search term, but it was on the first page of results.
I agree - Oracle needs to fix the download organisation for OFM PS3 - it used to be you could go to one page and find all of the stuff; not anymore. For example, say you wanted the repository creation assistant for PS3... where to get it? Yes, an obvious choice is to go to the SOA Suite download page, since SOA Suite requires a repository - however, I wanted it for MDS and to test out the new DB store for OPSS, not SOA.

Hey everyone I just got an Iphone and am trying to add some applications but am not the most technical person so is there some where online that I can go to get these downloads? And are they usually free or am I going to have to dish out alot more money? thanks

There's only one place to buy apps for the iPhone - the App store. You can only access it from your iPhone or from iTunes. Many apps are free, most cost from $0.99-$9.99. How to get a English version of recovery DVD disk for this model. I already have but it is in Russian. I don't want to install Russian. Want to re-install system. please if it possible assist me to find ENGLISH version of this DVD.

You will be not able to buy an English Recovery for this notebook model.
I assume you have purchased this notebook in Russia and therefore youve got a recovery disk with Russian language.
If you want to use a Vista in English language then you have to purchase a full English Vista version and then you could install it on your notebook.
There is also an Microsoft Vista language package which allows to change the OS language but this works only with Vista Ultimate version.
Your Vista seems to be a Home Premium and therefore this will not work!

HT201401 Speakers will not work after updating iPhone 4 to iOS. Apple Store said there are no speakers available which will work with the iOS6. Does anyone know where to get speakers which will work with iOS6?

After updating my iPhone4 to iOS6 my speakers do not work. The Apple store after troubleshooting said that none of the speakers they sell will work with iOS6. Does anyone have any suggestions for obtaining speakers which will work with iOS6?

That's a bunch of hogwash. My 4S is running iOS 6 and works with all my external speakers, both at home and at work.

Where to get genuine apple spare parts?

Not sure if this is a taboo subject so I apologize in advance if it is.
My wife knocked my iPad off my desk today and the screen cracked when it hit the floor. My house insurance will cover it but the cost of excess would mean its better I just buy I new iPad myself. I spoke to the apple care people and they say its going to cost about £260 for a repair.
I would rather do the repair myself so my question is, where can I buy genuine apple spares like a replacement screen in the UK? I've found a few sites that sell the screens for around £100 but I'm sceptical about their authenticity when it states things like 'premium craftmanship' and 'quality materials'. It makes it sound like someone (other than genuine part) has made it.
On a side note, the iPad had a otterbox defender case on and it only fell from about 2.5 foot and the screen cracked - waste of £60 in my opinion!

I've spoken to Otterbox but they were totally on the defensive - telling me how great their product was at protecting the devices. Asked me if there was anything they could assist in apart from replacing/repairing my iPad - think they were probably hinting at giving me a replacement case. Obviously they missed the point of my email when I complained that it didn't work for my iPad!
I'm not blaming the case for the break - my wife was the one that knocked it off the desk so she is to blame (and will never be allowed to forget it ). My gripe with the case is that from the description on their website (and from most reviews i've read), this case is supposed to be tough and handle stuff like this. I don't think a 2.5foot fall onto a wooden floor is all that great a distance but hey, i've been proven wrong!
There are lots of places in the UK that offer the repair service but it'll be cheaper and quicker to do it myself. I've already removed the screen and it only took 2 minutes! A replacement screen here in the uk is retailing at about £100.00. I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried it and if the 3rd party screens for sale are as good as the original?

Impossible to update applications which were preinstalled in a new iMac

I have just received from Apple a brand new iMac 21.5 (2.8 GHz, i7) with OS 10.8.2 and a few basic apps pre installed (iphoto, keynote, pages, etc). When I try to update iPhoto or iMovie, the App Store refuses to make the update and is asking me to connect with the account used for the purchase of the app ! but the apps were pre-installed ... Any idea how to slove this deadlock ? Thank you. I am a Mac user since 1984 ...

Upon first-time turning on the Mac, you were asked for an Apple ID during the initialization routine. Whatever you entered, that's the one the App Store is expecting for letting you download the updates.

We have some LUNs allocated to our DB server. These LUNs used to be MEMBER of another disk group. Later these LUNs got dropped from that disk group. Now, V$ASM_DISK.HEADER_STATUS = FORMER for these LUNs.

If the disk was dropped cleanly then its header status wold be FORMER, so you are good to go using that disk in another diskgroup...But before doing so, you have to clean its headerstaus with "dd" command to make its status as candidate..

For example
dd if=/dev/zero bs=8k count=1000 of=/dev/rhdisk12 ->rhdisk12 is the disk you want to use
Once above command is executed, see its status from v$asm_disk. It shoule have candidate status

Superseding an application which is installed via OS task sequence

Hi I am using SCCM 2012 SP1 and want to update AppA_version_1 to the AppA_version_2. At the moment AppA_version_1 is a core application and is installed to all machines via OSD when the machines are built. For this reason we don't have any
collections for AppA_version_1.
I have now created a new application for AppA_version_2 and want to test the deployment to a group of machines. As part of the test deployment I want to supersede the AppA_version_1 which we currently have installed.
In the past I have tested supreseding business applications (which are not part of the task sequence and deployed to users not machines) by first creating a test collection, setting the supersedence options and then deploying the superseding (latest) application
to the test collection. When I am happy it works OK I deploy the superseding application to the main collection for that application.
I have not had to supersede an application which is part of the task sequence before but I presume I do it in just the same way ? At the moment I don't want to touch the task sequence. I want to test the deployment of AppA_version_2, then
release it to all production machines, then update the task sequence so it includes AppA_version_2. What I don't want is to deploy it to the test group but have it automatically update on all production machines.
The reason I ask is that I have read that if you update the Task Sequence with the latest version of your software and this supersedes a previous version, then all of your machines in production will receive the latest version even though it has not been
specifically deployed to them.

Even though I am not going to update the task sequence with AppA_version_2 just yet, it has got me questioning the testing of the superseded application.
Am I OK to superseded AppA_version_1 with AppA_version_2 and deploy to a test collection (without it updating all machines in the organisation) even though AppA_version_1 is installed as part of the OSD Task Sequence.

What happens if I select the option : automatically upgrade any superseded versions of this application
? Would this ignore the fact that I was deploying to a test collection and automatically update all production machines where the software is installed ?
I haven't actually come across this option before, but I think that is because I usually create my deployments prior to setting the supersedence rules.

since you implements the backing bean from PagePhaseListener. some where the same view is excuting before getting the selected record. Even if you select the record after excuteQuery() it will set the first record as selected. Please try to check some where query is excuting.
try give some more details like what are all the methods you are using in PagePhaseListener and where you worte u r coding.

First, you do not patent an "application", but an idea or a process. So, if there is an idea or a process which is inovative in your application, THAT is what you are going to patent.
The open source nature of some of the item used by your application has nothing to do with the patent application as your application is just ONE example of embodiment (literally put into a body, of physical form) of your invention.
Your application is also covered by COPYRIGHT. the copyright protects the SOURCE code, as it is written. If you are using existing source code in your application, THEY are also covered by copyright and the license associated with them might force you to
accept some conditions/setup some parameters to the license that you associate to your application. But this is separated from the patent issue.

I do not think there is an app for that..... Yet. Part of the difficulty is the 'sandbox' nature of apps. One app cannot open another app. ( with a few controlled exceptions)
