Qosmio F50: How can I install Vista business

hello!
I recently bought qosmio f50 and it came with vista home edition..
I need to install Vista business.
How can i do that?
Do i need to format?
Then how can i install back all the utilities and drivers that it came with?
Will i have problems with my laptop if i do that?

Hi
The Vista installation is not tricky.
Just put the Vista disk into the ODD and then boot from the disk.
The installation will start automatically.
But this will format your HDD and you will lose your installed Win XP and other files.

I assume youve got a Toshiba recovery disk.
If you want to get back the OS installed by Toshiba then you should use the Toshiba recovery disk for recovering.
PS: what Qosmio F do you have exactly? I ask it because F 108 is not known to me

I have question about Ulead dvd movie factory.
First, I bought my G30 with XP when it was the moment of the offer "vista for a few euros".
So, I installed Vista with the official CD from Toshiba. But there was no longer Ulead Dvd movie Factory. As the XP's restoration CD is only an image disk, I can't install from it.
Has anybody a solution for me?

I think there is a solution!
I found the Ulead DVD Movie Factory utility on the Toshiba page.
I searched in the Qosmio G30 area but without to be successful.
But I checked other sections and selected Satellite Satellite A series Satellite A200 (PSAEC) Vista and found the Ulead DVD Movie Factory 5.51.0147.03 version
Download it a try to install this tool.
Should works!

you should be able to boot off a usb thumb drive. there are lots of resources on the web for doing this. i've also found a thread to enable you to decide which device to boot from, including the USB drive by holding down option while starting up...

How can I repair Vista system files with only a Toshiba recovery disc??

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that the reason I can't install Vista service pack 2 is due to some corrupt vista files. I ran the program that checks that system files and it said some are corrupt. There are some things I can't do, like turn on the Windows firewall even from that special adminostrar screen, or if I schedule a check disc scan, when I reschedule it for start up, it doesn't do it at startup. I had a Red Screen about a year ago, and it did a bunch of stuff and at the end, it said you had a major event and contact your administartor. Well, I am the administartor, lol. Anyway, it worked fine and I attribute these problems to that event.
Vista discs come with a repair option. All I have is the Toshiba disc that lets you reinstall the Toshiba and Vendor applications OR reformat the hard drive. I am not going to spend days trying to get my system back to where it is by tracking down everything I have installed especially when its working. Is there a work around? I will buy a Vista Home Premium disc if I have to before refortmatting. I have an x205-S9349 with Vista Home Premium. THANKS!

Apple figures that having supported PowerPC code for the last 6 years is enough so they dropped it.
Why should they have to support some that old forever? It doesn't make good business sense to support some that so few will use.
If you must play those games, my suggestion is to get an older Mac that will support PowerPC. It is going to be a difficult task to get Snow Leopard to run on a new Mac.

Can we downgrade the bootcamp by uninstalling or something...?

      I want to configure the CCMS tool but I don't know how.... I want to install it in the development environment to make some test and then install it on QA and production environment because right know I don't have a Solution Manager or something like that to install the CCMS and use it like the central monitoring system.

You need to implement CCMS in all the system(DEV, QA & Prod) separately. We have implemented CCMS separately in our landscape(without Solman)
If you dont have solman & want to implement CCMS then please follow method:-
Backgroud:- In the monitoring architecture, we can react automatically to an alert using auto-reaction methods. These methods are automatically started in the case of an alert and by default are executed in the system in which the alert occurs.
Defining an Automatic Alert Notification:-
With the monitoring architecture, auto-reaction methods can be defined that are automatically executed when alerts occur. The method CCMS_OnAlert_Email can be assigned to MTE classes in SAP system. If an alert occurs in this MTE class, the information is sent by e-mail.
CCMS_OnAlert_Email can automatically send an e-mail to the following addressees:
u2022        A Business Workplace user in client 000
u2022        An external e-mail address
The auto-reaction method for sending the e-mail is started at most five minutes after the alert occurs. However, there can be a delay before the e-mail is sent to external e-mail addresses (that is, addresses of users that are not defined in client 000 of the same SAP system), depending on the settings in SAPConnect.
The message text contains the same information that is displayed in the Alert Monitor:
u2022        Description of the problem that exists
u2022        Time and location at which the problem occurred
u2022        Severity and colour of the alert
Prerequisites:-
SAPConnect must be configured in client 000, if the message is to be sent to an external address.
Procedure:-
Choose CCMS ® Configuration ® Alert Monitor, or call transaction RZ21.
In the Methods group box, select Method Definitions and choose Display Overview.
Select the method CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 and choose Edit Data.
Choose change mode with the Display « Change pushbutton, and choose the
Parameters tab page.
Fill out the fields as follows:
Parameter     Meaning
SENDER     SAP username of the person in whose name the e-mail is sent Alert Monitor.
u2022     Start the desired monitor from the list by double-clicking it.
u2022     Select the desired node and choose Properties.
u2022     The Monitoring: Properties and Methods screen appears. The rest of the procedure depends on whether the analysis method need to be assigned only to this node or to the entire MTE Class.
u2022     Choose the Methods tab page and then choose the Method Assignment button.
u2022     The Monitoring: Methods screen appears. Choose change mode with the Display « Change button, and choose the Auto-Reaction tab page.
u2022     In the Method Assignment group box, choose the Method Name radio button and enter CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 in the associated field.
u2022     Save the entries.

2.     Check the recipient & sender e-mail id is configured(attached to a user id) in client 000

Completing the Alerts:-
The alerts are completed after checking the alert. Basis Team needds to complete the alerts
Deleting old CCMS alerts:-
You can use program RSALDBRG to delete old alerts.

I would recommend that you attempt to reinstall all of the programs and components of iTunes on your machine and reinstall everything again. It can be tricky to get everything uninstalled, so we have an article that can help you make sure you uninstall everything:

You have to follow a process outlined on the Nextel Developer's Web site. Go type in WebJAL and you find the process there. When the WebJAL application goes to make a network connection, Nextel (Sprint) looks up the phone's ID in one of their back-end systems. Your phone needs to be registered with them - or else you get the message you saw.
The process of getting your device registered with them can take 3-10 business days.

Installing Vista Business

I'm trying to install Vista Business on my MacBook Pro and can't seem to get past the first step of the Vista Business installation. After clicking on Install Now it shows me my partitions I then select the partition BootCamp created, and it won;t allow me to go any further and then scans for a drivers disc??? What am I supposed to do?

After selecting the Boot Camp partition did you select the format option towards the bottom of the same screen. Boot Camp makes a FAT32 partition. You will need to use the windows installer to convert this to a NTFS drive before you can proceed further.
