Qosmio F60 - No tuner availavle to satisfy the current request
Have a Qosmio F60 with integrated TV tuner. Running Windows 7 64bit. I setup the TV tuner a few weeks back and haven't used it a lot since. Now Windows Media Centre reports "No tuner availavle to satisfy the current request". SInce setting up the tuner I've installed Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection and of course the usual list of Windows updates.
I don't see the tuner in the hardware list either but then I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to.
> The TV Tuner does not appear in the list of devices. Yesterday I was able to visit a retailer and confirm that on an identical machine the Tuner is listed in the devise list
Have you tired to reinstall Tv tuner driver? Check this:

Hello Weblogic Gurus
I need to write a script to monitor how many beans are requested using a script.
Basically I need to collect the same information given by the console at the page application_name> Servers> server_name> Execute Threads -> current request
Using the command line:
java -cp $CP weblogic.Admin -url $ADMIN_URL –userconfigfile /opt/apps/WL_domain/admin/config.properties -userkeyfile key.properties GET -pretty -type ExecuteQueueRuntime –mbean "itrc:Location=adminserver,Name=weblogic.kernel.Default,ServerRuntime=adminserver,Type=ExecuteQueueRuntime"
I get the result:
MBeanName: "itrc:Location=adminserver,Name=weblogic.kernel.Default,ServerRuntime=adminserver,Type=ExecuteQueueRuntime"
CachingDisabled: true
ExecuteThreadCurrentIdleCount: 25
ExecuteThreadTotalCount: 25
ExecuteThreads: [Lweblogic.management.runtime.ExecuteThread;@cbf9bd
Name: weblogic.kernel.Default
ObjectName: weblogic.kernel.Default
Parent: adminserver
PendingRequestCurrentCount: 0
PendingRequestOldestTime: 1148320918503
Registered: false
ServicedRequestTotalCount: 2139
Type: ExecuteQueueRuntime
But it is not good enough, I need to drill down and find the “current request†and which bean is currently requested.
Thanks a lot for your help
MauroHi,
This may be a IDOC/Transact RFC error .
tRFC Error - status running Yellow for long time (Transact RFC will be enabled in Status tab in RSMO).
Step 1: Goto Details, Status get the IDoc number, and go to BD87 in R/3,place the cursor in the RED IDoc entroes in tRFC
queue thats under outbound processing and click on display the IDOC which is on the menu bar.
Step 2: In the next screen click on Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call)
place the cursor on the particular Transaction ID and go to EDIT in the menu bar --> press 'Execute LUW'
(Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call) ---> select the TrasnID ---> EDIT ---> Execute LUW)
Rather than going to SM58 and executing LUW directly it is safer to go through BD87 giving the IDOC name as it will take you
to the particular TRFC request for that Idoc.
OR
Go into the JOB Overview of the Load there you should be able to find the Data Package ID.
(For this in RSMO Screen> Environment> there is a option for Job overview.)
This Data Package TID is Transaction ID in SM58.
OR
SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show you all the pending TRFC with
Transaction ID.
In the Status Text column you can see two status
Transation Recorded and Transaction Executing
Don't disturb, if the status is second one Transaction Executing. If the status is first one (Transation Recorded) manually
execute the "Execute LUWs"
OR
Directly go to SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show TRFCs to be executed
for that user. Find the particular TRFC (SM37 > Req name > TID from data packet with sysfail).select the TrasnID (SM58) --->
EDIT ---> Execute LUW

In SQL Loader based Concurrent Program, how to get the current request id
Hi All,
I am trying the following control file.
OPTIONS ( SKIP = 1 , ERRORS = 0 )
LOAD DATA
INFILE *
REPLACE INTO TABLE XXPA_ASSET_TRANS_INTERFACE
FIELDS TERMINATED by ',' OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY'"'
TRAILING NULLCOLS
Project_Number
,Asset_Name
,Location_Country Constant USA
,request_id CHAR "fnd_global.conc_request_id"
in request id column I am getting -1 ...
Please lt me know how can i get the current request id in the request_id field.
ThanksHi
To my knowledge, this can't be achieved with SQL*Loader concurrent programs. Depending on what You are using the request id, the options provided may be useful.
I had a similar issue, requiring the use of user_id and login_id for who columns, and the solution applied was:
- Define a template for the control file, with place holders for the additional info:
user_id constant "x_user_id"
- Create a shell to receive the additional info as parameters, and use sed to change the template file to generate the control file, using the parameter to replace placeholders.
Create a request set to launch the shell concurrent program and then the sql loader program, whose control file now has the additional information required.
Caution when more than one middle tier node is used. -
Hi,
I want to call the other concurrent program and which parameter include request id of THIS concurrent program.
I use the After-Report Trigger to submit the other concurrent, but how can i to get the request id of current request???
Thanks in advance,
best regard,
ZhxiangDear All,
I got the solution from from Ittoolbox.
It need three step to get the info... share with you all..
1. create a user define variable P_CONC_REQUEST_ID in NUMBER format
2. in Before-Report Trigger : call srw.user_exit( 'FND SRWINIT' );
3. in After-Report Trigger : call srw.user_exit( 'FND SRWEXIT' );
Then we can get the request id info from :P_CONC_REQUEST_ID
Cheers,
Zhxiang -
Qosmio F60-118: Internal Microphone sounds over the Speakers
Since a few weeks every time I accidentaly touch the internal microphone I can hear a scratchy sound over the built-in speakers. Though in the System Control is the microphone deactivated. Any ideas how to switch off the internal microphone are very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The Microphone has two main volumes.
The Recording Volume, which you can set high.
The Playback Volume (found in the Speaker output settings), which is the feedback you are hearing. You may mute this volume.
If you still hear feedback, Skype or another program may be taking control of the Mic Volume. -
Hello, I have a Qosmio F60, and I want to change the standard sata HD for a SSD one. Is it possible? What kind of SSD specifications should I look for?
Thank you in advabce for your helpSSD upgrade is possible but I presume new SSD will not work on maximum speed. It is not so bad because SSDs runs mach faster and you will notice increasing performance boost.
I have upgraded my old P500 with SSD and Im happy with it.
More info about SSDs you can find on http://storage.toshiba.eu/cms/en/index.html but of course it must not be Toshiba SSD. You can check other manufacturers too, compare the prices and choose the best one. -
Deleting the latest request from info cube.
Hi All,
In our project, we have data from May 2012 to till date. Data is freezed and there is no change of data till May 2014. And there is change in data for current month only ie) June 2014. So i have pulled the full load from May 2012 to May 2014 and loaded in the Info cube.
I am deleting the current month data and loading only the current month data to Info Cube. So i want to delete the current request in the info cube before loading and load only the current month data.
Can you pls guide me how to achieve this through Process chain. I am unable to identify which process type will suit my requirement.
Thanks.Hello Vincent,
As mentioned by you, that there is no change in data from May 2012 to May 2014, you can keep the request which contains this data(for Example Req1). If Request2 contains data from May 2012 to June 2014 then you need to delete this request i.e Req2 and load only data for June 2014. Later you can follow below mentioned process.
Now coming to option which you are looking for process type to achieve this via process chain, there is a process variant called "Delete Overlapping Request", which is used to delete data from the target based on certain condition depending requirement.
Hope this resolves your issue. Below document explains steps to achieve the same.

How to determine the Servlet which current request is mapped to
Hello folks,
having a filter, i want to discover the servlet (if any) which will serve the current request. I want to have it before the chain execution. Does someone has an idea how to accomplish this using Servlet API? The old API provided the getServlet(String name) method for this task. Here the sample code:
Servlet servingInstance = discoverServlerForRequest(request); //i look for implementation of this method
chain.doFilter(request, response);I know that it would be very easy to get the servlet AFTER processing the chain, but the clue for me is to get it before.
Maybe Tomcat has implemented some special servlet context attributes to map it?
any hint appreciated!
thanksits possible, for sure. but then I need two filters to achieve it. I'll post my solution later, if there wont be any other ideas. I know that tomcat maps many objects by attributes...maybe there is a key for it.

Qosmio F60-L10 - How to configure tv tuner with integrated antenna?
good evening,
i have a notebook toshiba qosmio f60 ,i had read your answer about tv tuner.
my question is : how to configure tv tuner with integrated antenna? thanksHi 3171954,
I think Paolo30 is right. Qosmio F60 is equipped with internal DVB-T but in some cases you need an external antenna to pick up the low signal. In most cases only in large citys you dont need an external antenna. If you live on the fringe of the city, normally a cable is needed.
Anyway, do you mean an external antenna or external DVB-T receiver (USB stick)?
Normally Windows media center should recognize the internal DVB-T tuner. Is it listed in device manager? Did you update the driver? -
Re: Qosmio F60-L10 - Do I need an extra antenna for TV tuner?
Hi,
i have an question for the Tv-Tuner of the model Qosmio F60-10L. Do I need to connect an extra DVBT antenna or can I watch TV without to connect extra periphery?
ThanksHi zero82,
I have checked the specifications on the Toshiba website about Qosmio F60 and founded an interesting information about integrated TV Tuner that should answer your question:
+Toshiba laptops equipped with a DVB-T/analog Hybrid TV Tuner are ready to receive digital or analog TV channels wherever you want. The most popular TV broadcasting formats are supported. *The compact TV Tuner is simply integrated and additional power supply or external antenna is not required.* The comprehensive software package offers an electronic program guide, time-shift recording, videotext, various recording and replay functions to enhance your mobile TV experience.+ -
Re: My Qosmio F60-11f is VERY SLOW and stuck all the time
Hi everyone:)
I have qosmio f60-11f with i7 2.26 up to 3.3 with turbo
6GB Ram
640GB HHD
1GB Nvidia GT330M for graphics
the problem is that since I bought it and its slow I don't know why!
Now the laptop completed 14 months and I did recovery lots of time because of the problems and stuck I have from it.
last day I did the recovery and I noticed that the laptop become more and more slowly !!!
it takes about 5 minutes to start !!!!!!! not just that,,,after started and open any folder you will notice how slowly it is. Even videos I can't open it because the laptop will stuck and play the video very very slow!!
Please help me.Hi
First of all I would recommend checking the HDD for errors HDD malfunction might affect the computer performance you should check the HDD using the freeware toolsone of the tools which I use is the Drive Fitness Test it was posted several times here in the forum and its really great software.
If the HDD would be ok and if no error would be detected, then I would recommend disabling some processes which are not important for you in many cases different tools would be loaded during the OS boot procedure and such tools run in the background which slow down the OS.
Start msconfig and check the Startup Tab
Here you will see all the software which is loaded at the beginning you can uncheck not necessary tools
Note: if you are not sure what the single process means, use google and search in internet for more details otherwise dont disable this. -
Qosmio F60 Win 7 clean install plus drivers
Hi
I would like to clean install win 7 64 bit on my F60. I've already worked out how to change my boot sequence, [ with the help of this forum], so I'm ready to format & reinstall. However my concerns relate to reinstalling drivers specific for the F60.... Any advice on this process would be appreciated. Is it a matter of just downloading from [http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/notebooks/qosmio/f60/pqf65a-00y002/download?os=25] & installing as I need. Can this be tricky?
Any thoughts & guidance appreciated
Regards Lantana
Also would like to update bios...is there a step by step process for that too?I have a Qosmio F60 & have done a clean install. I'll run you through the steps.
1. Make recovery disks before doing anything else. It's a good backup should there be any problems & will allow you to return the laptop to "out of the box " state if you want. Once the Recovery disks have been made (about 3 or 4 DVD'S), you can delete the recovery partition, but if you're unsure I would leave it as is.
2. There is a folder containing all your drivers and programs on the C drive. Back it up to DVD or a USB drive.
3. Back up your activation information. I used Token Restore (Google it). Back up your data.
4. Install WIN7, use the advanced option, reformat your C drive. Make sure you install the same Win7 version that came with your laptop (ie Home Premium, Pro ect). Don't enter your activation details at this time, but use Token Restore to do this after installing your drivers. After you install Win7, you'll have basic functionality, ie your mouse touchpad will work, cd drive will work ect. Display will be at a lower resolution.
5. Install drivers & utilities. I installed the following in this order.
Intel chipset driver
Intel turbo boost driver
Intel management engine interface
Intel rapid storage driver
NVIDIA display driver
Realtek audio driver
NVIDIA HD audio driver
Dolby Control Centre
HDMI Control Manager
Realtek LAN driver
Realtech Wireless LAN driver
Bluetooth Monitor
Toshiba Value added package (custom install... I didn't install Zooming Utility)
Ricoh card reader
Synaptics Touch Pad driver
Winbond CIR driver
Yuan DVB Tuner driver
Toshiba Eco Utility (optional)
Toshiba HDD Protection
Toshiba Disc Creator (optional if you have other CD/DVD burning software)
Toshiba DVD Player (optional, it upscales DVD's, but not much improvement over WMP for playing DVD'S)
Toshiba Remote Control Manager
WinDVD BD (for playing blu-ray) & the update downloaded from Toshiba website.
6. Install your own software, antivirus, data, restore your activation information then run Windows Update. Also worth running a good defrag program like MyDefrag or Puran Defrag (both free).
I would install the recently released BIOS update prior all this.
It is possible to trim the installation back even further, but I find this gives me full functionality while removing most of the bloat. I do find this better than simply uninstalling unwanted programs, as some like Norton AntiVirus are almost impossible to fully uninstall.
Hope this helps.

first thanks for your reply,
>Have you noticed this behaviour on all games you want to play or just by newest games?
I talking about (Starcraft 2) it was working perfectly before but new the sound lag badly that i disable the music and scape the cinematic part to play it.
>While gaming, do you use your notebook with high performance power plan?
Yes I use it.
By the way: sending DX info is OK but Im 100% sure nobody here will read this. I hope someone read it.
@ Xardas,
I try all the things you just say, and sadly it doesn't work. I have the last display and sound driver and last DirectX, I use the high performance power plan while gaming.
I try Disable AntiVirus/Firewall while gaming but it the same it doesn't work.
thanks. -
Does Qosmio F60-00Y have an Optical Audio Output (toslink\spdif)?
Does the Toshiba Qosmio F60 Australian model have an optical audio output?
Hi
I found this Toshiba page about Qosmio F60-00Y:
http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums//thread.jspa?messageID=194743
Unfortunately, there is nothing about SPDIF and digital output.
I found some details about European F60 series and didnt find any info about SPDIF
For me it looks like the SPDIF is not available but this is just an assumption
