Qosmio F755-3d150 - Win 7 - no High definition on external display

hello
after instaling windows 7 and the nvidia driver, the external screen dosent display in HD like before,
I tried to configer setting but no resolt,
What driver do i need to install?

In your other thread I read that you have problems installing some drivers.
I guess the issue is related to missing graphic card driver and therefore you are not able to choose higher display resolution for the external display.
But if you have already installed the right graphic card driver, then I would recommend you to check the external display resolution settings.

  • Qosmio G20 = Component Video Cable and High Definition Videos With Pinnacle

    Dear Everybody
I bought my Qosmio G20-120 from Poland which came with D-video to Scart cable. This cable is only capable of transferring Video (CVBS) signals which is pretty useless because Qoismio has S-Video Output already... Which is better than simple Video Output that I can get from Scart.
According to www.toshiba-europe.com Qoismio has supposed to have Component Video output. But it comes with Scart cable instead. I am still trying to get this Component Video to D-Video cable from the distributor. If I wont succeed, does anybody know if and where I can buy this cable in Europe? Or is it possible to make a component video to D-video cable out of D-Video to Scart cable?
As last did anybody try the high definition DVB-S channels on Qoismio by using USB 2.0 DVB-S TV Card.Any opinions about Pinnacle PCTV 400e ??
    Thank You

Yes I do live in Europe. But who says that Component Video Cable is a standart from USA or Japan. I have been using Component Video Cables to connect my DVD Player with my video projector since 2002. Component Video Cables are wisely used in Europe. And its the ONLY analogue way of transferring HD-Video (Plus DVI and HDMI)
What disturbs me alot is that on www.toshiba-europe.com they explain that my computer has:
    Interfaces 1 x headphone
    1 x DC-in
    1 x line-in
    1 x external monitor
    1 x RJ-11
    1 x RJ-45
    1 x i.LINK (IEEE 1394)
    4 x USB 2.0
    1 x Monitor-in (line-in port)
    1 x TV-antenna
    1 x S-Video-in (Composite/Line-in)
    1 x TV-out (s-video, Component-out))
1 x 5-in-1 Bridge Media slot (supports SD Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, MultiMedia Card, xD-Picture Card)
Where is the Component-out ???Promise is a promise. Why do they say it if they dont give it?
Instruction manual also says that : D-Video port lets you transfer 525i(480i),525p(480p),1125i(1080i) or 750p(720p) data to external devices.
How can you transfer 720p with a Scart Cable?? It is impossible.... The only way that Qosmio can transfer 1280x720 picture is a Component Video cable.(Because it has no DVI port) How much does this cable cost anyway?? But the problem is NOBODY is producing it in Europe. I am writing to Toshiba-Japan. Since they are saying that my computer has Component-out so they must get me the cable....

  • Higher resolution on external display?

Could I output a higher resolution (greater then 1024x768) on an external monitor with my iBook G4?

    Thanks, Paul.
I am actually hoping to drive an external display at 1600x1200 or 1920x1080.
My ibook has an Radeon 9200 which I think is the same graphics processor as in the Mac mini, which supports 1920 x 1080.
So, I am hoping that I can turn off the built in display in my ibook and realize higher resolution on the external display.
I have limited access to a high rez external display so I apologize in advance if this is easy to figure out by trial and error.

  • How do I get a higher resolution on external displays using a HP Split 13-f010dx x2?

I just bought a HP Split 13-f010dx x2. I tried connecting my 27 inch Dell U2711, which has a max resolution of 2,560x1,440. I tried using just HDMI to HDMI, but that only allowed me to go up to 1920x1080, so I tried using a DVI-D adapter, and that only allows 1680 x 1050. Is there any way to get 2560x1440?

Hi hundredsofstuff, and welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you have a problem getting your Dell monitor to the correct resolution when connected to the HP Split 13-f010dx x2 PC.  I will try my best to help you with this issue.
Here is a document for Connecting a Monitor, Projector or TV (Windows 8), that explains the different connections and settings for an additional monitor.
I hope this information helps, please let me know how it goes.
Thank you and have a nice day!

  • What EXACTLY are the 4 NVIDIA High Definition Audio devices on N570GTX - Win 8.1

    Hi guys,
one of my rigs runs an N570GTX on Win 8.1 64bit.
In Device Manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers, there are 4 "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" listed.
I use 337.88 drivers (NVIDIA Control Panel version 7.7.760.0).
What is the purpose of EACH of these 4 devices:
As a side note, my other rig running an N660GTX on Win 7 64bit only shows 1 "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" in Device Manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

Okay, by examining the devices (enabling, disabling, reading driver data), I can conclusively state that one of the drivers (in my case residing in Location 1) is exclusively tied to the HDMI port on my GPU –  when I disable it, my HDMI device (I have only one; shame, because I can't isolate the devices better) stops being listed in Windows Sound Control Panel; when I disable all other devices except that one, my audio over HDMI works fine – this leads me to believe that the other ones are not really essential codecs required for HDMI audio, but are instead related to the individual audio outputs.
In summary, assuming the other two devices (residing, for example, in Location 0 and Location 2) are for audio output on DVI ports (usable via DVI->HDMI adapter/cable), there's still one NVIDIA High Definition Audio device (residing in, say, Location 3), which doesn't seem to be in use in relation to some sort of global codec mechanism (since I can disable it without affecting my HDMI port audio output), that is unaccounted for!
Any idea what other output can the remaining device be linked to, since GTX570 has no S/PDIF pass-through connector on the board itself (to connect it to the motherboard's S/PDIF output)?
Could the remaining device be there only as a legacy stub for S/PDIF connector which was present on the pre GeForce 400 Series cards, since they share the same NVIDIA drivers with the post-Tesla series?
But in that case, why does my GTX660 list only one NVIDIA High Definition Audio device in Win 7 64bit?
Quote from: Nichrome on 02-July-14, 19:33:05
Apart from the sound you can get through HDMI (which would be 1 or 2 of these in management), it provides your board with some "HD Sound Drivers" which takes another 1 or 2 of these.
I have quite few of these too even on my old laptop (with Nvidia card): x4 Nvidia High Definition Audio, x1 Cyberlink WebCam, x1 Realtek HD and x1 Bluetooth sound.
Your specs read that you have a GTX770 running on Win 7 64bit; do you also have four of the Nvidia High Definition Audio devices? Or just one? Thanks!

  • Some help for a Qosmio F50 and Win 8 is needed

    Hello,
I have an old Qosmio F50 and since it still has enough power to handle Windows 8 I decided to give it a try. What I did is a clean install of WIN 8 pro x64 and I used a mix of drivers from various Toshiba models and third parties. The results weren't bad since everything is working except for a little weird thing.
    Specifically I used:
    - Chipset drivers V,9.4.0.1022 straight from Intel.
    - Toshiba's high definition processor driver v,1.0.2.71
    - Enecir drivers v. 2.7.4.1
    - Realtek High definition audio drivers R271
    - Bluetooth stack v 8.00.12(T)
    - Nvidia VGA drivers 320.49
    - ALPS V8.x0.303.206 drivers for the touchpad
    - Camera assistant software v 1.7.260.0526L (a bit unstable and the settings reset every now and then, but still functional. The newer camera application couldn't handle the old Chicony)
    - Everything else that was provided by Windows Update.
    And finally I used:
Toshiba function key 1.00.6626.06, Flash cards 1.51.8.2C (the b version).and SpecApp.exe (aka button support) v.1.3.3.64
The only problem I have is with the media touch-buttons. While they work as they should and I can remap them with the SpecApp.exe just fine, they do a crazy thing:
Sometimes together with the correct function the button will also open windows calculator which is pretty annoying. I tried many things including searching in the registry, but I couldn't find out how to solve this, so if anyone could help it would be great.
Other than this malfunction, everything else works just perfect including all the FN keys.
Thank you for reading and if you have any idea I'm all ears.

I guess you will not get an original Windows 8 driver to get the multimedia working in connection with the Windows 8 system because the Windows 8 isnt officially supported on Qosmio F50.
But as you got it working using the packages released for other Toshiba notebooks, I guess that the crazy button actions are related to the SpecApp.exe since this small app has been used in order to remap the buttons.
So probably you should remove this from the system and should use just an Toshiba Value Added Package released for other Toshiba series.
    This is my personal opinion...

  • Help with "Unknown Device - Location 65535 (Internal High Definition Audio Bus)" Please?

    Hey guys,
So I recently purchased a T400 2764CTO and I downgraded it from Vista Home to XP SP3. I have been following advices from the forums on finding all the "(?) Other Devices" that needed to be installed. However, I am still stuck on the one that is posted as "Location 65535 (Internal High Definition Audio Bus)"
    I have SP3 so I believe I have the KB888111 installed.
    I re-downloaded 6ea111ww.exe and installed it.
    I tried following http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/Conexant-Audio-Driver-for-Vista-4-92-5-and-... from KBAM's advice.
So I'm still not sure if I missed a download or something or did something wrong. Can anyone help?
Oh, I'm not sure if this is related, but my computer won't shut down unless I manually shut it off by holding the power button. I am assuming (with lack of computer knowledge, but with some little research) that it might be these missing devices that are needed to install. So yeah, thanks!
    -Danny

    detran01,
Regarding your Conexant driver issue (v3.64.7.00, for XP)...
Saw your post and wanted to contribute.
When you say you "downgraded" from Vista Home to XP/SP3, I gather you mean you installed Win XP "clean," as opposed to configuring the 2764-CTO for purchase with the factory Win XP "downgrade" image.
I say this because the factory Win XP image (which now ships as SP3) will load with the basic devices properly installed. (Still, a number of drivers will not be up to date and certain optional services require user action.)
Also, you report the machine was originally a Vista Home system.  As Lenovo's ordering system does not seem to allow substitution of Win XP for Vista Home, this pretty much confirms that you're installing XP from scratch. Indeed, while this would account for "missing" devices, it also facilitates your downloading current drivers at this time. All good.
OK, let's start with Herik's point.
Win XP/SP3 actually does include KB888111, so this prereq should not be an issue. Also, while Herik provides the registry key that can toggle a system's behavior between SP2 and SP3 (for purposes of Hotfix/Update installs, reporting to QFECheck and the CatRoot2 database, and running certain apps, etc.), folks should know that some MSFT packages can be troublesome if the "spoofed" registry key is used to force installation to an unintended SP level. (This behavior is a complex subject that has to do with dependencies--so generally, proceed with caution.) Nonetheless, forcing a new KB888111 install may not be a problem in this regard.
While overshou's post correctly observes that you have not installed the Conexant modem driver (this functionality is embedded in the same chipset as the audio features), it should not be required before installing the audio driver. Still, go ahead and install the modem (which will create a separate entry in Device Manager).
Your report and screen cap suggest that your Conexant installation is incomplete (and thus, confused). It's best to start fresh to get it right.
Incidentally, unlike the previous release, there are no installer-package problems with v3.64.7.00 for Win XP.
Follow the steps in this post, observing especially the procedures that ensure a clean install.

As to your shutdown issue, have you now resolved this problem or does it persist?
Let us know how you make out.

  • IDT high definition audio CODEC issue

Hi! Today i woke up, turned my laptop on and suddenly my beats audio is not working. When I click on the volume button in the bottom right hand corner, it says "there is a problem with IDT high definition audio CODEC. Reinstalling the driver might fix this problem." So I checked 'apply this fix' and a new message popped up saying, "Troubleshooting was unable to automatically fix all issues found."
I have used macbooks most of my life so i am very clueless on what to do with this issue!! I have windows 8.1 and a touchsmart PC laptop, which came with the beats audio..does anyone know how i can possibly fix this??!

  • MSI P4M900M2-L ~Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Issue Resolved In XP!

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Issue Resolved!  MSI P4M900M2-L Intel Dual Core VIA P4M900 Chipset 8 CH Azalia Audio.
There is an issue w/ the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for the MSI P4M900M2-L Intel Based Dual Core Via P4M900 Chipset based Motherboard w/ MS XP Home Premium Installed (Vista driver installs fine as I have built 4 of these in the last week, but the XP Audio driver doesn't).
I could not get either Audio driver from the CD driver disk nor the MSI site to install w/ Win XP Home installed. Live Update for that Motherboard does not contain the Audio Driver either.
After 3 days and multiple attempts to use MSI's very wanting (in my opinion), Technical Support forms and call-in line, I hunted, and hunted and found the driver(s) on CNET. They not only work great but as designed. I had almost given up and I actually installed an add-in sound card....But this is a machine for a customer. Then I searched again and found a real solution.
Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers are located on CNET.com's download page:

Good luck to everyone, this will save you RMA'ing those boards over a stupid Audio driver issue, as they are great w/ the Intel Dual Core 775 CPU's from 2.0~3.0Ghz. Can't really tell the difference between the 2 CPU's w/ the Dual Core Program running (a utility supplied on the driver disk or on the Driver site!) I have built both..2 of each.

  • N8: high definition video slowed when played on PC

Yesterday I shot a 1,5 min film in high definition with my N8 and that's the odd: when played by the N8 player itself it's  absolutely ok, when played by (after uploading to) my desktop's WMP, well has a correct audio but a slower than real  video, so the audio and the video soon become out of synch and the audio ends , of course, some seconds before the video.
    Any  idea?
    Solved!

Ok, self-reply: it's my Desktop not able to play hd movies correctly. Actualy I tried on a fairly "old" Windows XP Pentium 4 desktop.
Played by mi new win 7 laptop it's ok...
@yunez: no, played by the phone itself the hd movies are smooth
As for youtube, I had youtube streams problem with the google youtube app (the stream was faster than the cache could ) till I set wi-fi power saving on off. Since then, it's all ok.

  • IDT high definition audio not working

Maybe I'm just unlucky i don't really know. But Win 8.1 has been an utter disaster for me i hate the interface and the myriad problems with drivers and giving permission to certain files even though you turned UAC off. Anyway my latest woe is now i have no sound, it was working fine this morning and when i came back to it all i get is scratchy sound. the on board sound is IDT high definition audio and windows says the device is working just fine. The scratchy sound is still there through my Roccatt headset when i unplug the speakers so it must be the sound card methinks. But can it BE when windows says its working fine?Tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling all to no avail still the problem persists. even tried to restore the computer to an earlier time but the problem still remains in fact i have no sound its just scracthy noise.Running win 8.1 64bit HP Pavillion 500-081A any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi merlin851526,
Sorry to hear about your experience with Windows 8.1 I will be happy to help you with your sound problem. I have two different options for you to try. I know that you have already tried reinstalling the drive but try the driver I have linked below. It has helped others resolved their sound issues with 8.1. I have also included a link to the Microsoft FixIt Tool to fix sound issue with Windows 8. To be honest I am not sure if it supports Windows 8.1 but it is worth a look.

  • PE7 unable to recognize Canon HV20 as High Definition

    Hello Everyone:
Unfortunately like some of you that probably want to try your hand at high definition editing, I just bought PE7 a couple of days before the announcement for PE8. For some reason I find that PE7 (and my previous PE3) cannot recognize my Canon HV20 as the high definition camera that it is.
I can easily import regular dv-avi from this Canon but when trying to import the files as HDV, it does not recognize the camera.
The camera is connected via firewire and is recognized as 'DV' Camcorder but not as an 'HDV' camcorder. The footage has been recorded in High defintion 1080.
I hope that one of you with this type of camera can help.
On another note, is it possible to record into PE7 with HDMI?
    Thanks,
    Lucio

    Lucio,
Perhaps a different capture card is needed or Vista Ultimate (instead of the Home Premium that I have).
A FireWire connection should be all that you will need. No "capture card" would be involved.
There don't seem to be many setting available for transferring beside an 'AV-DV' on-off (which I keep on).
Because my Canon is an SD-only unit, I can't really check its manual to help you. This line puzzles me a bit. What happens if you set this to OFF? Considering the number of menu options and switches that I have on my SD camera, I'd have expected your HD/SD unit to have more possible settings, but maybe I'm wrong and Canon has simplified things a lot.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • After updating to windows 8.1 iTunes does not think I have high definition display. Playback with other internet apps is in high def, but not iTunes.

I updated to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8.  Now when I try to play high definition movies, iTunes says they can not play back on my display which is low def.  My display has high resolution and display settings are correct.  Other websites play back in high def.  Just not iTunes.
