Qosmio G50-10I - No synchronization on TV between image and sound

My problem is that there is no synchronization between image and sound (+the sound is late about 5 seconds+)
when i watch TV on Windows Media Center on Qosmio G50-10I
I tried to change the settings on Windows Media Center but some will be escape.

How did you connect this TV to the G50?
Do you use the HDMI cable which provides the audio and video signal together at the same time or did you connect the TV with two different cables (for audio signal & video signal)?
Please check additionally the settings in Realtek HD audio manager which can be found in the control panel. There you can change some sound effects for different audio outputs (HDMI, digital, speakers)
PS: Last but not least install some codecs. I recommend a package called K-Lite Mega codec package

    Hi,
Can tell me someone who I can find a service manual
(+you now how to unscrew the notbook+
    +i dont care about the Warranty+ )
    for my Qosmio g50-10i
    Thanks

    Hello Athan
I understand very well what you want to do but I cannot understand why you don't care about warranty.
Qosmio G50 is very expensive notebook and you should take care about warranty. The repair is also expensive and maybe you should think about it. Anyway, you can do what you want. It is your money.
Service manuals is not public document and you will not be able to get it or fins somewhere on the net. Maybe you will find some instructions given by some enthusiasts but official Toshiba documents are for authorized services only.
On Toshiba page you can find parts that can be used/upgraded by notebook owner. RAM or HDD exchange has nothing to do with warranty and you can exchange or upgrade it alone.
Notebook keyboard doesnt belong to this category and such parts can be exchanged or ordered by authorized service.
Of course you can find some independent dealer and found and order keyboard on your own.
So, following Toshiba (and any other notebook manufacturer) policy keyboard replacement should be done by authorized service.
I don't know what you want to do exactly but if you want to change just plastic cover on each key you can try to do this. It can be risky because under the each key cover is small and sensible mechanism. If you do this gently you will maybe have luck but the plastic can also be broken.
Mann I don't know what to say. If you have money don't risk with it. Contact nearest authorized service and let them order new keyboard for you. Keyboard exchange can be done in 10 min only.
Be cool, speak with them and I am sure they will help you.

I have cross dissolve transitions set between images and videos, and I have the pan/zoom hold setting at "0." Despite the "0" setting, my images are static until the cross dissolve is complete. I want the pan/zoom feature to start the moment the subsequent image becomes visible. Is there a solution?

I am not sure if I am zeroing in on what you seek so please clarify...on
I want the pan/zoom feature to start the moment the subsequent image becomes visible.
Do you mean fading in visible versus or completely visible at the end of the transition? Whatever the case, I have not
found a scenario to fit what you are describing.
However, here are my suggestions for you to consider...
    1. What is the alignment of the Cross Dissolve transition - Left Clip, Between Clips, or Right Clip. If Between Clips, please try Left Clip alignment.
    2. What is the duration of the Cross Dissolve transition - you could try varying the transition duration. If less than 1 second, then please read the
details for minimum transition duration in the following
    http://atr935.blogspot.com/2014/03/pe-minimum-duration-for-transition.html
Please let me know if any of the above worked for you in what you were seeking regarding pan and zoom effect and video transitions.
    Thank you.

Burned iMovie .mov to DVD and it caused movie to skip/have weird transitions between scenes and sound to not match with picture. What can I do to help fix this when reburning?
    Movie details
    QuickTime Movie
    Size: 17.95 GB

    2 audio channels
Codecs- Linear PCM, Apple ProRes 422, Timecode
    Thanks!!

You can't use iMovie to create a video DVD - for that you need iDVD:
Why is there no iDVD on my new Mac? How do I get it and how do I install it?
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3673
To burn a DVD with iDVD from the latest version of iMovie, you have to export the movie using the Export button and select 480p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, then drag that exported movie file into the iDVD menu window, avoiding any drop zones you see.

  • I need to synchronize color space between Bridge and PSCS3

    Hi--
The only CS3 programs I am running are Bridge and PS. I like to work in Adobe RGB and maintain all my files in that color space. Consequently, I set that color space in PSCS3 (in
Edit/Color Settings). However, for some reason I can't nail down, PS often seems to lose my preference and reverts to sRGB; when I re-set my working space to Adobe RGB, I am informed
"Unsynchronized: Your Creative Suite applications are not synchronized for consistent color." I can't find the place where I can tell Bridge to use Adobe RGB color space. How can I resolve this?
    Thanks,
    --Ken

I am having the same issue. It is frustrating because I am following a Lynda.com training video that talks about PS CS3 and Bridge basics. Included in that video is how to synchronize color between these two applications. Nowhere does it say that one needs to own a >$1000 full suite to be able to do this. Deke directs the viewer to the Edit menu of Bridge where you are supposed to enter the "creative suite color settings" menu. No such menu exists on my "el cheapo" version of Bridge CS3.

The H2 tag is absorbing a rule applied to many elements on line 10 of styles.css (margin:0;padding:0;).
Being the H2 tag is used in so many contexts you probably don't want to add a concrete padding rule for all H2's. You might want to add a generic utility class to it, e.g.:
    h2.padBottom10 {
       padding-bottom: 10px; /* change to desired amount */
The "Follow Us" tag is a good example of this because it would have absorbed that bottom padding if you didn't use a class for it. It also should have a generic class applied to it so other H2's are not affected, same as above but a different utility class:
    h2.padTop10 {
         padding-top: 10px;
As always with CSS there's a million ways to do it but on specialized items like this, if it only appears in one place or has a smaller purpose, applying a general utility class can be useful.
    Then you'd just add the class to the H2, e.g.  <h2 class="padBottom10">View Gallery</h2>, <h2 class="padTop10">Follow Us</h2>.

  • Timing mismatch between picture and sound.

I have been using Premier Element ver. 12 with my films recorded with my Canon EOS camera without any problems. I have now been trying to clip a film recorded with a MAC copmuter. The files have .mov extension. My problem now is, that the sound and the pictures are not sycnroniced anymore. It seems that the Pictures are 3 seconds faster per minute than the sound. So after 20 minutes the Pictures are 1 minute in front of the sound. Playing the original files with the Windows player Works fine and the timing of the sound in Premiere Elements fits with sound using the Windows player.
    Any Ideas????

    Hi' ATR
    Ref. #8
Loading one of the problem files into Movie Maker Shows a small but constant shift between sound and Video within Movie Maker. Easy to fix. Exporting and import into Premiere Elements shows the same small but constant misallignment. That is good.
The screenshots of the required readings is seen below
    Properties from Premiere Elements:
I did not dare to install the MediaInfo properties readout program as I was warned about malware.
    Ref. #9
From Movie Maker the Video bitrate is stated to be:
    15-12-14: 177232 kbps
    12-01-15: 81164   kbps
    16-02-15: 177396 kbps
    10-03-15: 280596 kbps
From the above screen shots the audio bitrate seems to be 128 kbps
Hope this makes sense to you.

  • Problem between loadmovie and sound of loaded movie

hi, i made an swf which uses sound events and it plays fine.
the sounds are dealed with new sound, somesound.attachsound,
somesound.start, somesound.stop and so on, the linkage properties
are something like 'export for actionscript' and 'export in first
frame' checked. the movie plays ok when i watch it with swf player
or in a web page. the problem arises when i set a preloader in an
external file, the main movie is mainly pictures so it would remain
as a blank screen while loading, so i had to make an external
preloader, but when the main movie plays loaded by the preloader,
the sounds controlled via actionscript wont play, any pointers or
    suggestions?
    tnx

flash is probably looking for those linked sounds in the
    _level0 library.
to remedy, use whatever=new Sound(this); instead of
whatever=new Sound() when instantiating sound objects in your
    external swf.

  • Synchrony issue between slide and sound

    Hello,
I got a wierd little problem. I'm using two buttons with 'rdcmndPause' and 'rdcmndResume' to pause and to resume the slides in my project.
However if I pause and resume the slide several times the sound on the slide starts to lag behind.
I've noticed that the sound seems to be rewinded just a little bit every time I resume the project. In the end the sound is cut off by the end of the slide. I already tried the MACstyleplaybar widget with the same result.
Anybody know how to fix this?
    Thank you.

  • What's the difference between Image and Image Frame?

I'm a little confused about how Muse treats bitmap images. Sometimes when you resize a high resolution image, the resulting bitmap is resized to the final wanted resolution but sometimes the bitmap is stored in hi res and is only resized in the browser view.
I have a hires logo and I want to put it in the web in different sizes but instead of storing a resized image, Muse always stores it in full hi res. I believe it has something to do with being inside an Image Frame because images that are not inside an image frame are stored resized. But if I double click the image frame so the image is selected (with orange borders), and then copy it, when I paste it again, it is also pasted with the Image Frame. If I use the menu command File/Place, it also appears inside an Image Frame.
So to make long story short, what I need is to place a hi res image, reduce it in size and I want Muse to save it at that size, not at original resolution.
Of course I know I can resize it in Photoshop and use the resized image but that's not the point here.

    Hi,
Here is some explanation about Adobe muse image handling, by Zak,
Using a very wide image in Muse

You cannot ever hope to successfully create an html email using one big table. It's bad enough when going down that route for ordinary browser viewing but when it comes to email clients they are a lot less forgiving.
You need to use a series of simple nested tables. No spliting or merging cells, that's suicide.

    Hi
    Why should the Qosmio overheat?
I mean I dont see any connection between overeating and closed or opened lid
