Qosmio X300 - How to disable the beep-sound of the Multimedia keys?

I've now tried quite long and looked through the net for one thing:
How do I disable the sound of the multimedia keys above the keyboard? I just find the beep-sounds unbelievable disturbing.

You must enter BIOS and search for option name something like BEEP SOUND or something similar and change to DISABLED. I can't tell where exactly this option is, because my laptop is away from me ;)

I have the x500 series and want to change a few things
Disable the following;
1^st^. Annoying beep when you press one of the shortcut buttons on the left (e.g. volume).
2^nd^. Displayed shortcut buttons (e.g. mouse disable).
- When playing a game and press one of the shortcut buttons (e.g. mute), it minimises the game and displays an annoying icon (mute).
3^rd^. Shortcut buttons on the left of keyboard.
- They are good buttons, when I'm not using them, they are very sensitive and accidently press them.

The beep sound of illumination buttons you can disable in BIOS (BIOS setup > Advanced > System Configuration). There is an option called Beep Sound.
Generally speaking you can also disable all illumination buttons in BIOS, after this you will not see such shortcut buttons anymore but only disabling the icons only is not possible.

You could make it more pleasant if you would play a different sound file based on the comparison. (look in the windows\media folder for the sounds used by the OS. Try e.g. c:\windows\media\tada.wav)

The beeping sound when dialing a number suddenly got extremely loud on my iPhone 5. I have read that it can't be turned off unless you mute the entire phone. I have turned off all keypad sounds. How do I adjust the beep volume back down to normal?

I just recently started having the same problem a few days ago. My phone has always made keypad noises when dialing, but now they are EXTREMELY loud, almost to the point it is uncomfortable when you have the phone close and dialing. It is driving me crazy and I can't find any fixes.
**Edit** I just got super frustrated and restarted my phone 3 times in a row. After the third hard reset, my volume is back to normal. Give that a shot.

How can I remove the background sound from the headphone jack for my MacBoo

for my MacBook Air problem adding music intensifier (Panasonic ST-HT1000) to give it an unpleasant sound background that sounds like a whiz, it's not so loud, but it is an unpleasant .. after a short time can get used to, but the fizz does not pass, however, believe that it is a big problem.
Further I notice that when MacBookAir disconnected from the charger, it remains quieter sound.
At first thought that the headphone jack (3.5 mm Headphone:
Connection: 1/8-Inch Jack) or wiere have problem, but tried 3 different cables, but that does change enything, the problem remains.
When I added iPhonu3GS playing - the background sound were not, then everything is OK!

There is no way to bring that up unless you have it typed in a document. You can use My Support Profile to find a list of serial numbers that have been purchased or registered with your Apple ID.

The status entry field can be changed irrespective of ownership in Documents.
I was able to change the status on the document created by other user.
Example: The status of document was In-Work. The document owner was X. But I was able to change it to Inspection Check.

If you recently installed new ram, make sure it is seated properly.
If that doesn't work try removing one stick at a time to see if one is dead or put original ram back in.

I have tried to start up from the installation CD holding down the C key on the keyboard. Same result. I have tried different key combinations while starting up. No result or rather same result. Nothing. Is the computer suddenly dead?

You need to re install OSX. If you have the dmg file downloaded via torrentz this is how you can create a bootable external HD or Flash drive (8 GB+)

I'd make a backup of your important stuff before cloning the entire disk.
