Qosmio X875 has BIOS v. 1.30 and now is asking to upgrade to v. 6.10

Hi to all.
I own a Qosmio X875 which according to the information I get from running msinfo32, has BIOS v. 1.30 installed at this moment.
Now, Toshiba Service Station is recommending me to update to "BIOS version 6.10 for Satellite/Qosmio P870/P875/X870/X875".
Is this correct? I mean from v1.30 to v6.10 is a BIG leap I think...
