QOUT Scheduler stays inactive

We are trying to activate the Standard tRFC Scheduling in BI 7.0. We attempted to use SMQS to activate the Scheduler. The Scheduler Status would change to STARTING and then change back to INACTIVE after we refreshed in a few seconds. We checked that the BW destination was a valid destination.
For unknow reason the QOUT Scheduler won't activate. Any idea?

Inactive does not mean that queue is inactive.It only means that at present Q(in/out) sceduler is not doing any thing now.(activating or deactivating)

Interaction between Qout scheduler and Integration engine

Hello,
I would like to understand more about the XI 3 architecture regarding the place of qRFC. If I understood right, depending on the QOS, the qOUT scheduler is used to send XML documents comming from the Integration Engine. The qOUT scheduler is able to process and queue rfc calls using traditional RFC ports (for example in case of CIF for APO). I imagine that in the case of XML message shipping, the qOUT scheduler is called by the Integration Engine messaging logic layer. But then, I don't understand how outgoing SOAP calls occure. Are the queued RFC calls in destination of the local SOAP framework which uses the ICM to talk SOAP with the partner?

You mean, that the connection between the adapter framework and the integration engine is pure rfc based and not Soap-based XI protocol ?
Is XI protocol used between the two engines each time no qRFC is envolved and in this case, the Abap-based Soap framework and the ICM are used by the integration logic layer of the central integration engine to communicate with the adapter engine ?

Oracle BI Scheduler service inactive

Hi all, when I try to save an Ibot, I get the following error:
Oracle BI Scheduler Error: [nQSError: 76012] The Scheduler client connection was closed.

I have the Scheduler Service running and the Presentation services is also running. However, when I started the Scheduler Service, I got the following message in the log:

hi elena, i am encountering same issue now but when i checked the instanceconfig.xml, there is no tag for PartOfCluster. May I know the format for this tag and where to put it in the instanceconfig.xml?

Database mail queue stays INACTIVE

Hello
I tried for hours to get my notifications working, without success, on SQL Server 2008R2 Web Edition 64b
I send mail with the test :
USE msdbGOEXEC sp_send_dbmail @profile_name='ARRIERE',@recipients='[email protected]',@subject='Bonjour ',@body='Congrates Database Mail Received By you Successfully.'
But this mail seems to be never sent.
With:
EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_help_queue_sp @queue_type = 'mail';
The queue state is always INACTIVE, and length is growing everytime I send a email.
I tried to restart the mail system some times :
EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_stop_sp;
EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_start_sp;
The states goes RECEIVE OCURRING, but after some seconds and without intervention, it goes back to INACTIVE.
I tried to rester SQL Agent, SQL Server, the server himself, but no luck.
The broker is activated (SELECT is_broker_enabled FROM sys.databases WHERE name = 'msdb' ;)
I disabled every firewall, antivirus and others (by the way, I can do "telnet smtp.domain.tld 25" and send a mail with telnet.
With
SELECT * FROM msdb.dbo.sysmail_allitems;
I see all my mails with state "unsent".
Nothing logged in Event Viewer, SQL Events, and in sysmail_event_log I only get "Activation successful".
I configured the local IIS SMTP as a relay as said here : http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/sqldatabaseengine/thread/f9744284-a9b6-4bfb-81b9-c4833f282ad0
I cleaned the mails with:
DECLARE @GETDATE datetime
SET @GETDATE = GETDATE()

Can I do something more?

Please check these items:
1. Checked the SQL Server agent alert sytem configuraion to understand if the Database
mail is enable or not. Right click SQL Server agent -> properties -> Alert system.
2. Run sp_configure, check Database mail is enabled. Sample is: Database
Mail XPs 0 1 1 1
3. Checked the SQL Server MSDB database for service broker as below:
select is_broker_enabled,* from sys.databases
4. Checked the status of the database mail and it is started.
EXECUTE dbo.sysmail_help_status_sp
If all above is already configured, please try to:
1. Create a mail account (domain account) dedicated for DB Mail
2. Change the SQL service account to the mail account

Hi All,
Using SMQS transaction I Scheduled a new Outbound scheduler in which TRFC queues were getting created. For QRFC queues we can use SMQ1 to trace the volume of queues. Similar way how do we trace the volume and status of TRFC queues. Please advise.

Hyperlinks will not stay Inactive

I have tried the Apple help and everything I can think of to make some of my hyperlinks "unlinked" and inactive. Every time I save the site I am working on the hyperlink buttons relink to a file I had just unlinked. Please help! This is so frustrating!

ICloud account stays inactive

I added my iCloud account to my MacBook in the Precerance Panes. Each time I try to check the settings and details of my iCloud account it is asking me for my password and my Account is marked as "inactive".
The syncronisation with my iPhone is working fine. Also via website https://www.icloud.com/ i can access my account and see the data.
The problem occurs just on my MacBook. Any idea how to fix this?
Deleting and re-adding the account didn't work.

BDocs stay yellow - status I02 Written to qRFC Queue (intermediate state)

We upgraded our system from SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3 SP3 to SP4.
Now all the BDocs in smw01 stay yellow. I can manually reprocess them, then they become green. There is no error message and there are no dumps in st22.
The CSA* queues are registered. The scheduler says "inactive" (and briefly goes to active when saving a business partner, product or transaction, as it should).
The CSA* queues relevant for each "stuck" business partner, transaction or product is in status "STOP".
There's a note, 1593693 - BDoc's in state I02, but it doesn't help. We don't have a problem with the number or load of the RFC processes (as far as I can tell), there is very little going on on the system, right now I am the only one logged on) and the queues are not in status READY, either.
MW_CHECK says "All post-processing steps are done."
GENSTATUS counts 0 errors or waiting.
MW_MODE is on, of course.
smw3_00 is empty (which it was before the SP installation, too).
The CRM is not connected to an ERP system, it sends búsiness partner and transactional data via the XIF adapter (via web services). Which, up to now, worked just fine.

I was given the solution: Use transaction smq2, search for CSA*, click on the queue, click the unlock button. That worked.

Maintenance schedule is not getting generated

Past one year, maintenance schedule is not getting generated.
Could you please let me know to where i have to look out for this problem in Equipment & Functional Locations?
What are all the fields will be mandatory and triggering the maintenance schedule / Notification in Equipment / Functional Locations?
Need your response at the earliest.

There May be several resons...
Check Whether Maintenace for perticualr maintenance plan is not scheduled... their could completion requirement tick might selected previous maint. not done for the equipment.
Check any scheduling for inactive equips/fl
check any long offset has been set....
check while scheduling any sortfield key is set or genral...if pertiucalr sort key is belong to Eq/fl which will not help

Status inactive in v$session

on what basis, session is shown as inactive in the status column of v$session..
am connected through toad and execute so many queries, but still my session is shows as inactive ..
can anyone shed some lite on this ?

SQL>I guess,you must have noticed too.There is one session which gets added and removed on its own. I am getting 23 rows and than 24 ,the second last one becomes an active session but my session,Aman's,remains inactive only. The last_call_et column is also shown which according to docs,is showing time period of staying inactive. Interstingly, I couldn't make my user's status changed to Active. My best guess is that it might have become active when the call was submitted but after that it has become inactive again.I surely can be wrong but just wanted to share my thought.If you can explain the behaviour in more detail,it will be great.

Reg... spliting of schedule qty(Urgent.......

I have CPD, CSD, and CRD quantities with date given as follows....
CPD date & qty is initially given as 11/9/2008 500,
19/01/2008 500, 23/01/2008 600, 30/01/2008 400.
CSD qty 11/01/08   1000,       22/01/2008   1000
CRD qty 10/01/2008 2000.
Depending on the CPD qty given .....
From the remaining 2 CRD and CSD, we need to find which is having more no of schedule lines. once this is found the highest which is having more schedule line is selected.
Now subtracting the CPD quantities from the scheduled quantity of the highest we get the result like as follows......
CSD is having 2 schedule lines hence....
1000 - 500 = 500.
500 - 500 = 0
1000 - 600 = 400.
400 - 400 = 0
***are the CPD qty.
similarly CSD qty is splited as follows
2000 - 500 = 1500
1500 - 500 = 1000
1000 - 600 = 400
400 - 400 = 0
Rule of Sequence: The purpose of split is to make the number of schedule lines of CRD, CSD and CPD schedules in harmony. The two with more schedule lines are split first. Afterwards, the third one is split with the first two which are already in harmony in terms of schedule lines.
Rule of Quantity: The schedule line with larger qty is split into 2 schedules, the qty of the 1st schedule is the same as the qty of the other schedule; the qty of the 2nd schedule is original qty less qty of the 1st schedule. If qty of both schedules are the same, there is no split and both schedules stay put.
Rule of Date: When a schedule is split into 2 schedules, the original date applies to both schedules.
Now i need to build a code how to subtract the CPD qty from CRD and CSD qty..

Idocs not coming to XI

Hi,
In our landscape developers are trying to send Idoc from R/3 to XI system.
We have created RFC_XI as RFC connection, which they are using to trigger IDoc from R/3 to XI. Now IDocs are getting triggered from R/3 without any error, but they are not coming to XI.
Now when I checked Inbound queues in XI and found that all queues start with XBTI* are stuck with SYSFAIL error.
Through SXMB_ADM I have tried to register and activate queue for XBTI* but it gives error as below:

Message no. XMS_ADM610
Can anyone help me regarding this so that IDocs can be processes between these systems.
How can we see wats the issue while activating Queues?
Is there anything else needs to be configured between these two systems?

I have checked at XI Side:
In IDX2 in loaded meta data, two types of Idocs are showing
ORDERS02 and CREMAS01
In IDX1, Partner port and RFC have been configured.
at R/3 side:
RFC is checked its working fine.
Using WE20 and WE21, Partner profile and port been configured already.
In SMQS below is the status:
<R/3 Client> RFC_XI R 10 60 INACTIVE 0 <R/3 HOST NAME>
Register the destination in QOUT scheduler (SMQS) and make it as active
Destination is there (as per above) I hope entries are correct but its showing INACTIVE. How to activate it?
Select the queue from WEOUTQUEUE transaction and start the queue processing; now you can see that your XI starts receiving the Idocs
In WEOUTQUEUE when trying to see IDocs using Reciever Port as RFC_XI its showing nothing.
While I checked sent IDoc status using WE05, previously it was taking port as RFC_XI for sent IDoc but now its taking port SAPID6 after I defined port in XI for R/3 using IDX1.
For SYSFAIL Status, further message is as below:
XI restart in qRFC not allowed
Any more ideas or help? Will appreciate if anything step wise can be refer to check and rectify this error.
