QR Barcode displays in Acrobat X Pro but converts data to graphic in Reader 8. How to fix?

The QR barcode, which displays 3 items, works perfectly in Pro X but changes from graphic to text when form completed by "user" in Reader 8. How do I prevent this happening.

      Just to clarify, did you extend with Acrobat or LiveCycle Reader
      Extensions that you've licensed to include the 2D barcode usage
      right?
   I extended with Acrobat. From my understanding, since the document will
   not be in the public domain and will not be used by many individuals,
   there is no need to purchase a license for public usage.

We might want to have a look at the install logs to determine the cause.
Please try the following basic steps :
> Enable the hidden Admin Account on Windows 7 ( Ref : http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista/ )
> Disable all Non-Microsoft Startup Services. (Ref : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-services-windows.html )
> Disable all the Antivirus softwares like CA, Norton,Mc Afee etc. temporarily from the computer.
Reboot and try installing in the new enabled Admin user account and check.

I am not aware of a field type "Help" within a PDF form. I do not see it as a form field that can be added in the form edit mode.
Forms Central forms do not support all the features of Acrobat forms.
Are you talking about the "Tool Tips" or a hidden field that only shows when one enters a field and is hidden upon exiting the field.

PDF prints from Acrobat 8 Pro, but not from Acrobat 9 Pro

I have a PDF that prints fine when I print from Acrobat 8 Pro, but when I open the same PDF in Acrobat 9 Pro, only portions of each page actually print out.
All systems running Windows XP Pro, SP3
A8P 8.1.2
A9P 9.1.1
Any ideas?

Well, for those following this thread or needing a solution, I found a work-around though I'm still not sure why the initial problem exists.
In Acrobat 9 Pro, once you have the main print dialogue box open, follow the steps below:
1) Click ADVANCED
2) Select PRINT AS IMAGE
3) Set DPI to 300
4) Click OK
5) Make any other typical print setup adjustments as you normally would and finish printing as usual

1) yes, the new lenovo came installed but I uninstalled it and reinstalled from the disc that came with the computer.
2) Win 7 on a 64 bit system
3) yes I did use the serial number, however the system did not ask for activation as that option was grayed out under Help.

If you bought an Upgrade then the installer will prompt to enter the previous qualifying version serial number.
If you don't have a record of that you can contact our Customer service and they will help you rerieve the old serial number if you have registered the software with Adobe
else they will help you unlock the Upgrade serial key upon validation.
