Qrfc Monitor

Hi All,
when activating the integration models i receive the message Outbound Queue blocked in a dialog box , In the dialog box i have three options 1. Qrfc monitor , 2. Ignore and 3. Cancel. when i click qrfc monitor , i can see a status SYSFAIL.
how I can i proceed with issue now , how can i release the block in the queue,
becoz whenever i activate any of the integration model , I receive the same error
Outbound Queue blocked in a dialog box .
Thanks
Shan

Hi Shan,
In SMQ1 (Outbound Queue Manager) put in the appropriate Queue Destination and Execute F8. This takes you to next screen - where all the stuck queues/blocks are listed. You need to select each and either double-click on the queue name of press F7 (Display Selection) which takes you to next screen.
This screen shows more details of the queue. You can try selecting the queue block and click on the Matchstick icon F6 (Activate Queue). If there are multiple entires in the queue block then you can doubleclick on the queue name or F7 to list the inidividual queues. Select the queue which says SYSFAIL and try fixing the root cause before you select the queue and press F6 - Execute LUW. Please note unless you have fixed the root cause of the queue you can not process it. It will continue to give you the error.
Also when you are trying to activate the integration model and getting the error - try selecting the Ignore option and see what happens. Sometimes the stuck queue is for something else than what you are trying to transfer and system by design flags it when you do the integration model activation.
Hope this helps. Do provide further details like the type of queue stuck, the integration model you are trying to activate if you continue having the problem. Screenshots are preferable - but then not sure how you can put them here.
Thanks,
Somnath

  • In SMQ1 (qRFC Monitor) status

    Hi,
In SMQ1 (qRFC Monitor) I have status 'NOSEND'. In the table TRFCQOUT, some entries have the status 'READY', others 'RECORDED'. ARFCSSTATE is 'READ'. What do these statuses mean? Which values in the field 'Status' mean what and which values are correct and which are alarming? Are the statuses BW-specific or generally valid in qRFC?
    Thanks,
    Pradeep

    Hey pradeep,
Don't post the interview question over here.
Table TRFCQOUT and ARFCSSTATE: Status READ means that the record was read once either in a delta request or in a repetition of the delta request. However, this does not mean that the record has successfully reached the BW yet. The status READY in the TRFCQOUT and RECORDED in the ARFCSSTATE means that the record has been written into the DeltaQueue and will be loaded into the BW with the next delta request or a repetition of a delta. In any case only the statuses READ, READY and RECORDED in both tables are considered to be valid. The status EXECUTED in TRFCQOUT can occur temporarily. It is set before starting a DeltaExtraction for all records with status READ present at that time. The records with status EXECUTED are usually deleted from the queue in packages within a delta request directly after setting the status before extracting a new delta. If you see such records, it means that either a process which is confirming and deleting records which have been loaded into the BW is successfully running at the moment, or, if the records remain in the table for a longer period of time with status EXECUTED, it is likely that there are problems with deleting the records which have already been successfully been loaded into the BW. In this state, no more deltas are loaded into the BW. Every other status is an indicator for an error or an inconsistency. NOSEND in SMQ1 means nothing (see note 378903). The value 'U' in field 'NOSEND' of table TRFCQOUT is discomforting.
Hopefully this is the correct answer that u were looking for your question
    Thanks,
    Om Ambulker

    Hello Sonal,
The Qout sheduler is fot outbound queue. The activation is required for

  • Diff between RSA7 and qRFC MOnitor

    Hi all,
What is the relationship between RSA7 and the qRFC monitor (Transaction SMQ1)?
    regards,
    jimmy

    Hi jimmy,
The qRFC monitor basically displays the same data as RSA7. The internal queue name must be used for selection on the initial screen of the qRFC monitor. This is made up of the prefix 'BW, the client and the short name of the DataSource. For DataSources whose name are 19 characters long or shorter, the short name corresponds to the name of the DataSource. For DataSources whose name is longer than 19 characters (for delta-capable DataSources only possible as of PlugIn 2001.1) the short name is assigned in table ROOSSHORTN.
In the qRFC monitor you cannot distinguish between repeatable and new LUWs. Moreover, the data of a LUW is displayed in an unstructured manner there.

    Hi experts,
I need to configure a new queue group to monitor some of the outbound qRFC BW queues. Which MTE class should i opt for in RZ21? And which Exit FM should i select?
    Thanks.

  • CCMS qRFC Monitoring: Missing Transactional and Queued RFC Monitoring Nodes

    Hi ,
We are trying to create a Queued RFC monitoring for VERTEX Queued , but we are missing CCMS Monitor Templates,in monitor Communications -->Transactional RFC and Queued RFC in Dev  and PROD  ,but its present in QA System .
I have checked all system are at same level for support packs , kernel version .
    I have refered following Notes - 441269,437187,455431, 485826
Can we create manually new one , but we are missing MTE class also ?
Can we create new monitoring template ?
We are running 4.6c with basis support pack level :
    SAP_BASIS    46C           0054    SAPKB46C54
    SAP_ABA      46C           0054    SAPKA46C54
    Thanks
    Hamendra

    Hamendra,
Please make sure background dispatching is activated in your system. Go to tcode RZ21 and menu Technical Infrastructure --> Method execution --> Active background dispatching.
This should schedule a job called SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP. This is the job that will run the function for building the ALE/EDI monitoring segment.
After scheduling the job check back in a few hours, if the ALE/EDI monitor is still not there try the following.
    1. Go to tcode RZ21
    2. In the topology section choose radio button "Segment overview" and click display
    3. Go into change mode and delete the monitoring segments
This will force the system to recreate all the monitoring contexts.
Check back in a few hours and see if the monitor is working.

  • QRFC Monitor(QIN Scheduler)

    Hi ,
In my qRFC scheduler (Qin Scheduler) the scheduler status is coming as inactive!!!what should i do?
and there are more than 5000 messages in smq2 tcode i.e inbound queues?what should i do to rectify the errors

    Hi,
it is absolutely normal that the scheduler is on status inactive!
it does not mean that your queues are inactive. It just means that the scheduler is not doing anything at the moment like activating or deactivating queues.
You will hardly never see it in the status active.
    Hope that helps )
    Cheers

  • QRFC Monitor (Outbound Queue) Destination

    Hi Experts,
In t-code SMQ1, there is no destination defined for the queue name "MCEX03". Although there are LUW entries in the same table column, but no records in rsa7.
How can we input the destination name? Please advise.
    Regards.

    HI,
MCEX jobs doesn't show any Destination as this job will process the LUW entries of extraction queue....
i.e there'll be corresponding job running in SM37 for MCEX jobs periodically when this is successful the LUW entries from extraction queue will processed to delta queue i.e RSA7.
For eg: if u chk the log of that particular job it'll show the no of LUW's entries moved from extraction queue to Delta Queue for that applciation component, in this case it is '03'.
After every successful job if u monitor closely, the count of MCEX will be reduced and the count in Application component '03' will be increased.

  • SQL error 1691 in qrfc monitor

    Hi,
I am running a simple file - xi - mail scenario. In SXMB_MONI, the xml messages are showing a green flag, and messages are stuck in inbound queue. The error is SYSFAIL: SQL error 1691 occurred when accessing table SXMSCLUP2. Has anyone faced this issue? Any suggestions?
    Thanks..

    Hi Moorthy,
I have already tried restarting the queues. They just get stuck again!
I will take a look at the note and see if that works. In the meantime, do let me know if you can come up with any other solutions..
    Thanks!

  • About qRFC Monitor (outbound queue)

    Hi Experts,
we are upgrading the r/3 system from 4.6 to 4.7 and i am responsible for BW activities, i was asked to take care of the outbound queue what does that mean? and what needs to be done with this queue during r/3 upgrade? and there are some queues(in SMQ1) with destination None and entries 1 what are those???
Does any one have the check list what needs to be done on the BW side during R/3 upgrade?
    Thanks in Advance.

all the guides can be found on sapnet

the particular guide for your particular upgrade is THE place to look for help.  it's very detailed w/ links to all the oss notes you need to review as well.

  • QRFC Monitor (Outbound queue)

    Hello friends,
I have to delete and fill up the setup tables for the application 18. I have successfully deleted the data from the setup tables in LBWG. But when I am going to delete the entries in extraction queue(LBWQ), I find two queus for application 18. They are MCEX18 & MCEX18_1. Could you pls let me know the reason for the 2 entries. Should I delete both? Same is the case for allication 17.
    Thanks in advance.
    Vishwa

    Hi,
The entries in LBWQ are those which have only been captured in outbound queues and have not reached RSA7. It is absolutely normal for them to have destination as NONE.
Go to SMQ1, and execute, there you would find multiple entries for application 18
    e.g.
    Queue Name                                   Destination                      Entries
    BWXXX2LIS_18_I0NOTIF               BWCLNTXXX                      100
    BWXXX2LIS_18_I0TASK               BWCLNTXXX                       200
    MCEX18                                         NONE                                   2000
The first two entries here are the ones which have already been processed from outbound queue to RSA7. Therefore now they have destination as BW system.
Please check if here you get entries for 2 different BW systems. This may be the reason for 2 entries MCEX18 and MCEX18_1 in LBWQ.

  • Monitoring qRFC outbound queues

    Hi,
I need a CCMS monitor on qRFC outbound queues (tcode SMQ1), so that I get notified whenever messages gets stuck for some reason.
I tried with MTE class "CCMS_qRFC_Outbound_Queues_Summary", but it stays green, even after several messages are not processed in the outbound queue.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Read SAP Note 441269 - Setting up tRFC/qRFC monitoring in the alert monitor
That should put you in the right direction.

  • Outbound Status in the Monitor

In SXMB_MONI when i check for messags status there are several messages struck with Outbound status  = Message Scheduled on outbound status
MY scenario is Idoc - XI/BPM - File . I'm collecting all Idocs in BPM before sending out to file.
Any idea what I have to do.
I did checked in SMQ2 and all queues are empty now.
    Thankx

Did you check all the steps in BPM during runtime ? Is all the steps are showing green in the Graphical View of workflow instance.. I think some of the steps are having problem..
Also which collectPattern you used in the design ? Is the end condition is satisfied ?
Go to Transaction SWEQADM ( to check if the event queue background job is running.
If everything looks ok, test the syntax for the BPM in the Repsotiory, re-import into the directory and re-run the scenario..
If it goes into qRFC monitor when you click on PE in SXMB_MONI, then I think BPM is not triggered ..
Check did you configure correct Receiver Determinations ?
    i.e Idoc ->BPM
        BPM->Target
Also test with one idoc first..Also make sure that Idoc data is coming to XI correctly. Check the Sender Interface, Sender Service, Reciever Interface and Service in SXMB_MONI so that you can understand which is message has come to integration server etc..

    Moorthy
