QT Font Sizes Big While Running HDMI

I opened up qtconfig and changed the font size to 3 but I noticed on some applications certain fonts aren't changing and they still appear big.
Look at this screen shot of Keepassx and you'll notice the big fonts;

I also changed my .gtkrc-2.0 to 3 for fonts;
gtk-font-name="Nimbus Sans L 3"
And the GTK fonts all look great...
How can I change these fonts in QT apps that still appear big?

P.S. Got it fixed, the DPI was 305x305, now it's 96x96;
[sar@arch ~]$ xdpyinfo | grep resolution
resolution: 96x96 dots per inch

Hi there,
"Normal Size" fonts are relative to the users' screen resolution. If you just want to see larger font size on your end and send/reply to mesaages in "Normal Size" I would just use a lower resolution on your Mac Display. Your email recipients will then recieve your messages in their normal size (as they sent you). Your just looking at a "magnified" version of the font. You can do this in System Preferences > Displays > Display... play around with a comfortable resolution.
IMHO - you're better off turning screensaver completely off and just sleep display in 5 minutes or so...
Take the current window you have open, move it to where you want it to open next time, close window, open and it SHOULD open where it was last located.

When viewing ePub files there are two buttons in the toolbar for increasing/decreasing the font size. When viewing PDF files there are buttons for "Fit double pages", "Fit single page", "Fit Width", and "Custom Fit" that will provide increasing degrees of zoom.

Where has font size gone?

Hi, I have run MX for years, then it won't run on my new
Intel Mac so I get a trial of cs3 then a trial of cs4 now I can't
see how to change the font size.
I run a small, text and pictures only website.
There is a font size selection in the properties box but only
after I press the CSS button. Now if I change the font size I get a
box asking me to get involved with CSS.
This I do not want to do. It seems I am being forced into CSS
when I only want to change the font size. Something that was easy
in other Dreamweaver editions.
How do I simply change the font size. I am not good with HTML
either.
When I have a small site why would I want to retrospectily
apply CSS to my pages. It seems to be a massive job to do this.
Anyone got any good ideas?

unwanted configuration.

Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the third-party developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.

If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.

You may try the list and see how far down you need to go; you have probably been through 1) and 2), and 4) is both reversible and more thorough than 3); 5) is hardly relevant, so you may end up with 6).
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Report viewer is not printing the exact font size format if the application is run through virtual machine or RDP.

I'm still having this problem with the font size format of my report, although I already installed this hotfix at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2768741/en-us, if I run the application using RDP or virtual machine. Anyway, I'm using VS2010 with sql server
2012 express through windows 7. Actually, I tried to search for a new and updated hotfix version but having no luck,:) since i'm not good at it (google search).:)
So, I need help on how to fix this problem.

Thanks for the link that you had given. Actually, Previewing the report on an RDP or VM environment is not a problem at all because it yields smooth result based on the report design. The problem only exist if print button icon of the report viewer is pressed
which results to a magnified font size printout. I think it is a rendering problem a somewhat default behavior of a report viewer print method. So one of the remedy is to adjust the resolution of an RDP or VM to 1024x768
(4:3 ratio) as suggested by the others, which momentarily solve this problem but not necessarily the other way around.

If this behaviour is system wide you have to choose another reslotution in SystemPreferences/Displays.

Only my email font size has changed....it's gone smaller while everything else including ads is normal size. How do I change it back to 12 pt type?

twice in the past few weeks the font size on my email has changed smaller. The first time it went from 12 pt type to maybe 10 pt type. Last night while I was chatting on Yahoo with our daughter, it went down to maybe 2 pt type. I couldn't find a way to change it back. This morning I opened up the computer to try to work on it again and the font size was maybe 1/2 pt type. The words look like little squiggles on the page. Both my email addresses on Yahoo have reacted the same but the ads to the right of the email on the mail page remain the same size. If I open up another window, and say go to foodtv.com, everything is normal size. I have opened up Safari and gone to my email and everything is normal szie so the problem is the Mozilla. I have also called ATT and gotten help and they couldn't help as it's definitely a Mozilla problem.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

Settings > General > Accessibility > Larger Text > Larger Accessibility Sizes [on] also, adjust the slider to the left/right to preference.

HT2486 change font size to run Avery labels

Trying to run labels using Contacts, my MacAir (10.7), and Avery 5630 template.
Formats correctly, but cuts off a couple of letters on both the right and the left. Anybody got a fix for that? Or know how to just reduce the size of the font?

I am using Arial. I was able to set size 0 by script i.e.
this.font.size = "0pt";
But still it is not working since there is one more constraint. We are using ADS ver 1.5.
I read somewhere in this forum that size 0 change works only with ADS ver 1.6 i.e if we set to size 0 then the font size changes depending upon the text length.
Do you have any idea how can the same thing be achieved with ver 1.5?

You haven't mentioned which mail it is,
If it is G-mail go to settings --> general tab--> default text style , you can change your font size & then save at the bottom of the page

Not as far as I am aware. A lot of the text objects (such as captions) in Captivate are actually converted to images at publish time. So they're not able to be changed via stylesheets or variables.
You can use Advanced Actions to hide or show images or captions with different sized text. But not change the size of the text that is already in the caption.
Even if you make all of the on screen text dynamic so that it's coming from some variable value, you still cannot change the font size at runtime.

GFS Didot is nearest listed MUSE font in appearance to Adobe Caslon Pro, which is the font used in the book which the website is intended to promote. I would like to use Adobe Caslon Pro (I paid for it and it's on my computer, but not in the cloud). Is there any way to install Adobe Caslon Pro as a MUSE font choice in the cloud?

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

the choices are 100% and 125%.
There are some user "Custom Sizing Options" and other under that. But, if you have all the settings maximized, it would seem that you have
the best viewing situation for your particular setup.
I do not see the opportunity for improving your situation in this matter moving to Premiere Elements 12/12.1 or 13/13.1.
