QT - full list of error codes, where?

Anyone know where I can find a full list of QT error codes?
I've only been able to find a page to a list of QT Streaming server codes and that is not what I'm after.

OK, thanks Kirk, good to know.
I've written Apple Developer Technical support who replied that they do not have such a list available. I wonder why as I find it quite odd that a company (especially Apple) will have their software communicate in obscure error codes that you have no chance to decipher unless you go to a third party website.
I know Apple used to have such an error code list on-line so I guess it must be a change in policy for some reason. It just doesn't make sense.
If anyone from Apple reads this, here is a suggestion. Make all your error codes in the error message pop-up windows clickable and let the links lead to a help page (on-line or local) that explains the problem in layman's terms. 2nd best would be to just include the option of looking up the code manually in the help files associated with the software.

  • Where is a comprehensive list of error codes?

    I keep looking for a comprehensive list of all error codes sorted by number.  If, for example, something reports an error like "An error of type -1409 has occurred.", it seems there must be a list somewhere of descriptions of errors of type -1409.  Is there?  Does such a list exist?
    If not, can you help me understand why not?
    --Gil

    Thanks for the suggestions.  I sent Kevin a message...
    Hi, Kevin--
    Thank you for compiling a very large list of Mac error codes.  I just got one that's not on your list, -1409.  I'm not sure what caused it.  I got it when I tried to run an AppleScript...
        set aFileRef to open for access file "MBProHD:Users:gil:aPackage"
    where aPackage was a package, instead of a file.  Not sure what it means.
    --Gil
    I  tried Googling "An error of type -1409 has occurred."  It got a large number of hits; however most were of the form "Try this and see whether it goes away."  In other words, no definition.  Then I found one thread where a Senior Member posted a definition without attribution...
    Error: -1409
    Macintosh system error (-1409) * Named fork does not exist */ error
    The info we have on this error means that some part of the OS is damaged or missing, (assuming that the HD directories & such aren't messed up). Try reinstalling the last big combo update from Apple. It's possible that you will have to do an "Archive & Install" to repair your system files.
    Now we're getting somewhere, but where did he get that definition?  The source seems to be a 2010 message on the Adobe Reader Bulletin Board.  The contributor's email is marked "private" and it's not obvious how to reach him or her.
    Thanks, WZZZ, for your helpful suggestion.
    Back to my original question -- Where's the list? -- I guess we're all disappointed to learn that none of us knows where some Apple employee keeps it.
    --Gil
    P.S.-- I just got word back from Mail about my message to Kevin...
    Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
        [email protected]
    Ah, well.  Guess I'm ready to give up now.

  • Is there a listing of error codes and what they mean?

    Continually get -3150 and -3252 codes. Can't find info when I search the site. Looks like lots of other error codes. Didn't know if anyone knows where to find a list of what the codes mean...and ways to make them stop.
    Thanks.

    It happens when the server can't connect to LDAP server. Check to make sure your server is connecting to directory server by going to "Users & Groups" tab in the administration server UI.

  • Complete List of Error Codes for Customized Change Password Page

    Hi,
    does anyone has a complete list of "Change Password Page Error Codes"?
    The list provided in the document:
    Oracle® Application Server Single Sign-On Administrator's Guide
    10g (9.0.4)
    Part Number B10851-01
    seems to be incomplete. (See: http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10464_01/manage.904/b10851/custom.htm#1009955 )
    I found at least three additional / different error codes:
    auth_fail_err
    pwd_minlength_err
    pwd_numeric_err
    I'm using a JSP Page.
    Thanks for help

    Hi,
    I found the list in the OID Admin Documentation. The list contains the error messages the OID sends to the client. In case of SSO, the client for the OID is the SSO server. So now I know which errors are transmitted to the server, I have to find out what the server sends to the SSO Page for Password change. Probably I should test all cases documented in the OID Admin doc to find the appropriate values for SSO Server.
    Thanks for the tip

  • Where is a list of error codes? but have no idea what it means.

    I get errors followed by some code number. Example: an unexpected error occurred -1857 [24]. So what if you don't know what it means. Also, if you are expecting an error, what is the message?

    The only thing the MacErrors.h file shows for the "-1857" error is "drag was not accepted by receiver"--which probably isn't very helpful. You have a copy of the MacErrors list in your /System/Library folder, do a Command-F search on "MacErrors.h" which is buried many folders deep inside /System/Library/Frameworks. If you have Xcode installed it will open in Xcode. Otherwise you can open it with TextEdit and resave it as a plain text file in your Documents folder for handy reference.

  • SELECT LIST throws error for WHERE CLAUSE

    Hi All
    I am struck with, what looking like a trivial error, but I don't know how to settle it down. I am new to Apex (3.1). I am experimenting with. I have Oracle 10g running on Windows.
    I have a dropdown item in one of my pages (SELECT list). I am trying to display few items there dynamically (depends on the user who logged in). I set it as SELECT LIST and entered the following query in "List of Values".
    select enrolled_course display_value, course_id return_value
    from COMP_LIST
    where stu_id = :APP_USER
    order by 1I got the following error.
    1 error has occurred
    LOV query is invalid, a display and a return value are needed, the column names need to be different. If your query contains an in-line query, the first FROM clause in the SQL statement must not belong to the in-line query.Then, I tried the step by step instruction from "Oracle® Application Express - Advanced Tutorials -Release 3.1.2 -E10497-02". Using creating list of values creation as seperately. That too, I got the same error.
    I am doing it wrong I suppose. Please correct me. Thanks in advance
    With Regards
    Guru

    Thanks Andy
    When I hardcoded, it worked.
    select enrolled_course display_value, course_id return_value
    from COMP_LIST
    --where-- --emp_id-- = --100--
    where stu_id = 100
    order by 1
    {code}
    :APP_USER is not working then, Now, I should be using v('APP_USER')? When I tried v('APP_USER'), I got the same error back! The COMP_LIST is a view. Is there some problem with the view then?
    But again, I am able to select from it without WHERE (now with hardcoded value also)....

  • Where is there a list of definitions on error codes?

    I keep getting error -1309 when trying to export HD(720). I can't find a listing of error codes on any Apple sites. Where are these posted?

    Are you trying to 'export' a large file to an external drive formatted for Windows (FAT32 etc) by any chance? Some are getting that error code if the file is over 4GB.

  • Where can I get a list of Labview fieldpoint error codes?

    I'm programming my application and want to act on some error codes such as failure to communicate but ignore others like some values out of range.

    Assuming that you did a default installation, you can click Start-->Programs-->National Instruments-->FieldPoint 3.0-->FieldPoint Help. There is a category called Errors and Warning Codes. Under that category is two subcategories; FieldPoint Specific Error Codes and General Error codes. These two sub-categories should list most error codes that you will see.

  • XSQL-007 and list of XSQL error codes.

    I have a situation where I need to replay a request if I cannot acquire a database connection, and to not replay a request otherwise. Is the XSQL-007 code the only code that deals with database connections?
    XSQL-007: Cannot acquire a database connection to process page.
    Do you have a published list of XSQL codes? Is there a method in java code to generate the full list of XSQL codes? For example to get a list of database error codes, one can in PL/SQL use:
    set serveroutput on size 2000
    begin
    for i in 1..9999 loop
    dbms_output.put_line ( sqlerrm(-i) ) ;
    end loop ;
    end ;
    Steve.

    There's not a way to loop through the errors in Java. Here's the list.
    XSQL-001: Cannot locate requested XSQL file. Check the name.
    XSQL-002: Cannot acquire database connection from pool: {0}
    XSQL-003: Failed to find 'XSQLConfig.xml' file in server CLASSPATH.
    XSQL-004: Could not acquire a database connection named: {0}
    XSQL-005: XSQL page is not well-formed.
    XSQL-006: XSLT stylesheet is not well-formed: {0}
    XSQL-007: Cannot acquire a database connection to process page.
    XSQL-008: Cannot find XSLT Stylesheet: {0}
    XSQL-009: Missing arguments on command line
    XSQL-010: Error creating: {0}\nUsing standard output.
    XSQL-011: Error processing XSLT stylesheet: {0}
    XSQL-012: Cannot Read XSQL Page
    XSQL-013: XSQL Page URI is null or has an invalid format.
    XSQL-014: Resulting page is an empty document or had multiple document elements.

    Oracle has a general error messages manual:

    Errors not covered here are product-specific, your product is sqlplus, so you have to search in the sqlplus manual:

  • List of stageWebView error codes?

    Is there such thing as an errorID list for stageWebView? (Google is no help here)

    Nope.
    There is no such "list" of error codes.
    Your log entry is telling you the information in clear (although abbreviated) text.
    In the excerpt you provided, you can think of the `ID431010` as the 431,010th kernel error logged by the system. Such numbers start at some random low beginning and are accumulated sequentially by your system.
    The log entry was plainly reporting on fan #0 for processor #0 located on the motherboard of hostname `systemx`as viewed from the perspective of LightsOutManager.
    Fans will fail. Replace the part.

  • List of hardware error codes

    Hello,
    Is there a list of hardware error codes that are generated when internal server systems fail? For example, on a T2000 when the CPU fan fails we get a message like this in the syslog:

    Thanks,
