QT pro-why do I have to pay for something I use to have?

***? I downloaded the 7.1.2 version of QT some time ago...and did not realize until now that I cannot "share" or email my QT movie files unless I now BUY the PRO upgrade...It's always something, and it always happens when I'm trying to breeze through something I'm used to doing and then hit a frigging wall like this. Is there anyway of reloading an older version of QT that gives me back my sharing ability? Jeez

You do not need the PRO version to email a QT movie file!
You need to provide more details of your problem. When you attempt to email a movie are you getting any errors? If so, what do they say?

I had a hard time keeping my phone charged at one time, so I called/visited my local retailer of Verizon, and they ordered me a new battery (first step after cleaning my phone. Not like it was dirty anyways). Got a new battery, put it in, still same problem. Would not charge...boo! So, I bring it back, and they order me a replacement phone, since it "is still under warranty, and insured". When I first brought my phone in, the young lady said, "That is why it is not charging; it was the charger port, that is why it was not charging. It is as loose as a goose" So, that is why she ordered me a new one.
So, get the new phone, put "new battery" back in. All is good, all of what, 2 maybe 3 weeks later. Now it is doing the same thing again. Checked the charging port, it is fine. Bring it in, to the store, and questioned the young man behind the desk, and find out why I was charged the $299.95(+taxes & s/h). He said, "it was because the old phone was because there was "corrosion" around the port." Of course, there was not a single note of it being loose. He continued, and said it was because it was there had to be a time where you spilled something on it, even if it was a drop of any kind of liquid. Or, you/ or someone else, had it in the shower with them." (Really, a drop of liquid, or taking the phone with me in the shower?) How I could I get a "drop" of liquid in it, if I had an Otter-box on it, or why would I take it in the shower with me? I admit, I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but, really? Come on now!
Since, I have to now pay for it, I am kind ‘a wondering if anyone else has, or had the same problem with their phone (s). My wife has the same phone and she has not had this same problem. Makes me wonder. Since, my phone is doing this again, if it is something that I am doing wrong with it or not. So, now they have ordered me a new battery, and we will see if this will be a new fix, or "good bye to Verizon." Any comments, or suggestions, please email wife and me, and let me know. Make sure that you are online
Click on license this software
Perpetual product owners: Log in with adobe ID and enter product serial number
Product should be licensed successfully

Why do I need to pay for Network Extender?

I've been exclusively a Verizon Wireless customer for over 11 years. Yearly I pay about $3,000 for my service, which I use for my business and personal use. Yet, I can't get a signal at my place of business, on the 10th floor in the middle of NYC! I get all bars in the basement of home an hour outside of the city! Plus, it's extremely embarassing when my clients complain that they can't connect and look at me for an answer why.
I understand that this can be remedied using the Verizon Network Extender, but why should I have to pay an extra $250 just to get the service I'm already paying for ? Plus, this extender uses MY internet connection, My electrcity , AND others in the area can use it too for free ? Basically, I'm extending Verizons' network at my expense.
You should supply this device at no charge to customers like myself who can't get service.

Tonyfalcone, I can understand where you as well as Roy are coming from. Roy understanding a need for a workplace offered an alternative option for you, your clients and other businesses together can benefit from. The network extender we offer is much less. The network extender being an accessory isn't discounted like phones/devices but there's no contract, no monthly fees. You can set it to allow specific numbers priority access to the network extender. Alternately, speaking outside of vzw products, you can search online other signal boosters. Keep in mind, we don't have the support to help you if you needed to troubleshoot a third party product.
You mentioned you've been on our network for many years. Did you previously have service at your workplace? Can any Verizon user use their phone? If no to both, it does appear signal is being interfered or blocked. Personally, I've been on high floors in buildings and had service. Possibly they already installed a signal booster but I'm not sure.

Apple constantly reminds everyone to backup their purchases because anything can disappear from the app stores and other content stores at any moment. If you fail to do so, the problem lies with you. It isn't stealling, it's capitalism.
Apple only controls its own apps in the stores. Apple folows the direction of the other content owners for the stores, When Growl's developers ctreated the next major paid upgrade to their app, Apple removes the old version and replaces it with the new version.

My title says it all - it seems that the only way to get iPhoto '08 is to buy the iLife '08 upgrade for $99 here in Australia. Does not seem 'fair' to me - other products are upgraded for free.

you always have to pay for software upgrades. I would never expect to get photoshop or dreamweaver for a free upgrade. It is only free if it is an update, not a whole new release.
