QtNetwork4.dll missing so PSE9 Organizer won't start
I downloaded a trial copy of Photoshop CS5, which worked fine. However, I decided I was happy with PSE. Unfortunately, when I tried to open PSE 9's Organizer I got the message "Program can't start because QtNetwork4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." First thing I did was uninstall CS5, but the missing message still appears when I try to open the Organizer. I'm not real keen on uninstalling and reinstalling PSE 9, but I'll do it if necessary. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can replace QtNework4.dii without a reinstall? Many thanks.
I don't know if anyone cares (and why would one if one is not experiencing the same problem?), but what I did to solve the problem was go to a friend who also has PSE 9 on his computer and copy the QtNetwork4.dll file, which is buried in C://Program://Adobe://PSE9 Organizer. I then installed the file on my computer in the same place and Organizer opened again. Et voila!

I keep getting the PSE quit unexpectedly message when trying to open the organizer. The editor will open and if I try to open the organizer from there, I get the same thing.

We have been able to resolve the issue that was being faced by the PSE user BCheez62(in above thread).
Please try it out and let me know if it works for you as well.
1. Rename your contacts.xml file present at <root>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Elements Oganizer/9.0/Organizer.
2. Relaunch the Organizer after renaming this file.
If it does not work, please share your crash logs with me. It could have been a different problem then.

PSE8 Organizer won't start - no message.
I get welcome screen and click on Organizer. A few flashes on Hard disk but nothing happens. I clicked on Editor and it comes up fine. Clicked on top right Orgnizer button in Editor and it gives no response, no hard disk lights or nothing. Do I have to reinstall?

Unfortunately, there are many reasons why the PSE Organizer might crash, and often it is hard to diagnose quickly the reason for the crash. Here are some steps you can take to try to fix the problem:

Using Windows 7 -- I can start organizer only after a computer restart. After a restart I can start Organizer and it works great. Then I exit PSE9 and when I restart -- Organizer will not load. When I hit the Organizer button from the opening screen, it just blinks and no other action. My only solution now is to restart the computer.
I tried starting Edit first, then choosing Organizer with the same reults -- basically no action.
I thought about uninstalling PSE9 and reloading it -- but am unsure about needing the serial number -- I don't recall if I need the number to install. I have the number and have used it once and don't remember if I need the number to installI have what seems to be the same problem. Organizer won't start from the Welcome screen. It appears very briefly and then goes to sleep. It appears in Task Manager. It is necessary to delete the process before trying again. Organizer CAN be started from the editor, but with some difficulty. I tried both suggestions, running directly from the exe file and deleting the two files you metioned. I still observe the same behavior, specifically by double clicking on the exe file. Do you or anyone else have any other suggestions. By the way, the problem has occurred only recently, after using the program for several weeks. Also, I am running Windows XP with service pack 3.

Tried to download latest i tunes version. After install, I can't bring the program up. Keeps telling me MSVCR80.dll missing. Un installed and then re installed but same message.
Got it done. Uninstalled all apple programs. Did a complete defrag. Downloaded itunes and went to completion.

First deactivate the product(s) and then uninstall it from the machine using the procedure specifically for your OS. If in Windows and I suspect it is then uninstall from the Control Panel.
To deactivate the product you need to go Editor and then:
Help >> Deactivate
Please also make sure that you have your original CDs and /or DVDs handy including the necessary serial number as you will need them to install the product(s) again.
After uninstalling the products, you need to restart the machine before you start to install again.
You have created the backups of your sentimental photos, right? You need to just in case the machine causes more problems down the line.

Help! AfterFX won't start because .dll missing
As the title says, out of the blue after fx stopped working. I tried installing it and re installing it, but it won't work.
What can I do? Is there a .dll missing from my OS? By the way I use, windows 7 64bit.

I have a windows 7 64-bit OS. With intel core i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20 Ghz and 16 GB (ram)
I have an adobe cs6 master collection. Since I can't access AE, I can't say what version it is, but the file number is: 6.0.335.0
It has always worked. I never had a problem before. I work often with Photoshop, and less with after fx, and premiere, still those 3 are the ones I use the most, from the entire suite. A few days ago out of the blue, AE stopped working. I had it installed 3 weeks before and by then it did worked. Since I newly bought a bigger hard drive, I had to format/ re install everything. After that, the only program from the cs I can really say it worked was photoshop.
Now when I open AE all I get is the following message:
AfterFX.exe - System Error
The program can't start because .DLL is missing from your computer.
Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I tried formatting the pc and reinstalling windows 7 with all updates, and with out any. With and without internet connection. And so far nothing. The only thing completely different now, is that I have a bigger non ssd hard drive. -

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

CS3 Premier Pro Won't Start due to Komplete 5 .dll Loading...
Hi,
I'm running Komplete 5 by Native Instruments on a brand new Quad Core laptop that was built and tweaked by a pro audio company that specializes in configuring machines for musicians. The Win XP Professional system runs very well.
After installing Adobe CS3 Suite, I noticed that the only program that won't start properly now is Premier Pro. When try to start Premier Pro 3.0, the splash screen opens and I can see the Komplete 5 software programs (Kontakt 3, Massive, Pro 53...) trying to load their .dll files. After a few seconds, Premier Pro quits and gives me a Runtime Error.
I've searched around a little bit and can't even find the .dll's for Komplete 5 to try the suggested experiment of moving them away out of their folder and then to bring them back after (if) I get Premier Pro to start as I have indexing turned off on the drives (which I "think" is to keep the system speedy?) so searching manually has not been easy so far. I looked in the vst folder and they are not there, unless I am missing something.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You likely have an issue with one, or more, of the NI .dll's. There have been several issues with these. Do a search of this forum (go back to get all Premiere versions) for "Native Instruments." There are serveral threads on moving the .dll's, so that Premiere doesn't try to load them. Premiere will attempt to load every registered VST/.dll, as you have found. NI's do cause PP to hang.
