QTP is crashing while spying on checkbox present inside a grid.

Hi,
In my flex application, QTP is crashing while spying OR clicking on a checkbox present inside the Flex Advanced grid. Any inputs please !!!!
Thanks,
Narasimha

I forgot to follow my old axiom, "never assume". Did you already run Disk Utility to repair the hard drive? Did you already run Software Updates to check for any OS X updates (such as security updates)?
It is a bit annoying that Apple likes to call almost every application download an "update". Usually, the system will not permit two versions of any Apple application to exist at the root of the Applications folder. I get around this with an "Applications old" folder. Sometimes an "update" will install a full, working version of an application by replacing the previous version. Other times it will only install updated files into an existing application package. The latter is the case for Safari 1.3.2 update. It will not install a full, working version and it will not install a second version alongside the one that is already there. It will only update version 1.3.1

  • QTP 11 crashing when spying seagull bluezone version 5.2

    Hi All
I am using QTP 11 trial version and automated bluezone v5.2, but when I am trying to do spy, QTP hangs the system with the popup says "QTP has stopped working". This error I am not only encountering while spying but also during test run.
Please help, based on the feedback of trial version my company would decide to purchase its licenses.
Below Softwares are installed in my machine
    WIN 7, 32 bit
    QTP 11.0

    Thanks

Re: My iPhoto will not longer let me hit the Facebook icon and immediately post to Facebook.  Now it says, "Do you want to set up iPhoto to publish to Facebook?"  which you still can't do.  What gives?

Just solved it here after an hour+ of experimenting.
    Try this:
    • When you get prompted "Do you want to set up iPhoto of post to Facebook?" confirm and it will bring up your regular Facebook home page in a small viewer window.
    • Go up to the upper right corner of the Facebook page and log out, then hit the "Close" button at the bottom of the small viewer window.
    • You'll probably get the same "Do you want to set up iPhoto to publish to Facebook?" prompt again. This time hit Cancel
    • Now try to share your pictures to Facebook again.  You'll get the "Do you want to set up iPhoto to publish to Facebook?" message again. Do it and this time hopefully you should get a prompt to login to your Facebook account. Enter your Facebook name and password. This should reset your connection.
    • If successful you should get a prompt from Facebook that you can close the page. Close it and fingers crossed, all should work again. That's what worked for me.

  • Keynote on Ipad keeps crashing while i open new presentation

Hey guys I recently purchased Keynote for my ipad adn as i started to learn it i ran into some issues. When I select a new presentation and choose a template from the provided list the app crasshes. EVERYTIME. Please help, What can i do?

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Safari 4.0.3 crashes while opening website

Safari 4.0.3 update on OSX 10.4.11 PPC G5 dual 2.3 6GB RAM 169GB of free HD space. Safari crashes down when opening certain sites. It also downloads the files called b.ashx at time. I tried everything what I know and have read in this forum: re-installed completely Safari and flash plugin after thorough cleanup, tried to disable Java script and plugins in Safari Security, checked Input Manager, tried to open another account did not help so far. Have feeling it has a connection to Flash because when I take Flesh out of the Library>Internet Plugins folder it doesn't crash while accessing the site but does not display parts of the site either. Thanks for having OPERA browser. Bellow is the link to one of the crash sites
    http://www.snocap.com/

..... Menucracker or whatever it was is gone didn't change anything here is the report after restart and attempt to access the snocap site. I noticed that after Safari crash it takes very long time to open whatever. I don't know how to get full report when I click on Crash Reporter it's empty this is a console.log and bellow is system.log report...... Last two lines in console.log is what appears there after Safari crash.

  • Photoshop CS4 crashing while using program on Vista

PS is crashing while using. No clear repeat of when and causes my computer to be unable to "end process". I have to do a hard restart.
Using trial version of photoshop and this is not helping when deciding to purchase.
Using Vista Ultimate. ATI Radion HD 2400 (I've updated the driver)
I've disabled the Open GL checkbox.
I've been using PS CS 1 before this and I may just keep using it since it's stable. Love to upgrade but not with this headache.

Using Vista Ultimate. Not sure about security since this is a work computer and I don't know the PC (I'm a Mac Person using a PC by force).
Where would I find the "event log"?

  • Crashing While Asleep

So... almost 50% of the time my new iMac (with dual Intel processors) will crash while it's "sleeping." When I try to wake it up, the disk drive runs and runs but seems stuck -- it makes a grinding noise that won't stop and the display doesn't come on properly; rather the display shows my screen saver, though the screen saver doesn't move.
Have I gotten a lemon of an iMac or is there something I can do from home to troubleshoot this?

    Welcome to Discussions!
Based on your description of your optical drive repeatedly recycling, it's unlikely that you have a lemon, but it's possible that your RAM is not fully seated, or (sorry to say) may be defective, especially if your iMac is brand new. In fact, the recycling drive and failure of display to refresh indicates the possibility that there is no RAM present, or, in your case, that no RAM is being detected. [Since this is a temporary situation, possibly it involves the SMC, see below]
It's really not difficult to check the RAM if you have a Phillips head screwdriver. To make yourself comfortable with the idea, use the Apple instructions: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303084
as well as Discussions member Vince Bennett's iMac (Intel Core Duo) RAM installation video
In addition, check System Profiler to verify that your firmware is up to date according to the version references in the read-me's of the possible Firmware Updates: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303903
SMC reset - this is simple, no risk, and should be repeated if not successful the first try. Many have reported using that a somewhat longer time period helped, but I think it's just a matter of the more tries the more chance of success:)
PRAM reset - simple, once is enough. A good real-time check on whether you've done it right: first set your iMac's sound level high or low and then listen to the sound level of the startup chord that sounds during the reset in comparison - the PRAM reset if successfull will reset the sound level to the default (mid-point). It might also reset another one or two of your System Preferences (typically Startup Disk).
    To reset the PRAM:
    1. Shut down the computer.
    2. Locate the following four keys on the keyboard: Command (Apple logo), option, P, and R. You will need to hold these four keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    3. Start up the computer.
    4. Press and hold the Command-option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination after the startup chord sounds, but before the gray screen appears.
    5. Hold all four keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup chord for the second time.
    6. Release the keys.
Disk repair. This is done by booting from your iMac's grey-labeled Install Disc 1, get past the first (language selection) screen, (after fully loading) the second screen will contain a "Utilities" pull-down in the menu bar. Open and select Disk Utility.
On the left side of the Disk Utility panel, select the top-most drive shown, on the right side select "First Aid" and then click the "Verify Disk" or "Repair Disk" button. Allow to run to completion. Run a second time to be sure. Do not click on "Repair Disk Permissions," but instead quit the installer version of Disk Utility and restart to your usual startup disk, which you should re-select using "Startup Disk" which is also located in the same "Utilities" pull-down where you found "Disk Utility."
After restarting, Repair Disk Permissions in a similar manner after opening the version of Disk Utility located in your Applications>Utilites folder.

Photoshop CC 64bit regularly crashes while working in 3D. My PC is Windows 8.1.  I am trying to create 3D text but while I am adjusting extrusion depths or editing the materials, the program crashes.  I am able adjust my graphics card settings to give more memory to Photoshop for 3D, but I don't know what are the best settings to use.

The interactive manipulations in 3D are quite dependent on the display driver for your video card.   I notice yours is a bit out of date:
    >gpu[0].DriverDate="20130829000000.000000-000"
It's possible a newer driver may help.  Visit nVidia.com to facilitate downloading/installing their latest release.
That said, I've also found Photoshop can get flakey once you start working on 3D stuff.  I've had amazing, long sessions where it just worked, and I've had others where it just wouldn't cooperate - doing exactly the same things.
It's then that you start to appreciate the auto-save in the background, but even then once in a while it doesn't auto-recover, so you want to save your work in multiple master files fairly often.
I think the latest version (14.1.2) seems about the most stable for 3D work so far.

I have the latest downloadable version of LR5.  It crashed while it was createing 1:1 previews during an import. After a Win7(64) restart, it shows a message that LR needs to quit because it can't read the preview files and it will try to fix it the next time is launches.  I get the same message the next and every subsequent time it launches so I can't launch LR at all now.
I get that the preview file got corrupted somehow.  Is there some way to fix this problem without building a new catalog?

Use Windows Explorer to open the folder containing your catalog. You will see a folder with the extension .lrdata. You need to delete that folder and then start Lightroom again. Lightroom will generate a new previews folder.

Can you not sync your iPod with iTunes? That should get the movie onto your computer. Now sync your iPad and transfer the movie?

Photoshop CS6 keeps crashing. I am using a brand new IMAC, I have 16GB RAM recently updated as it was running slow with 8GB and lots of hardrive space. When it crashes, i lose all my presents and it changes my preferences, it also fails to save or produce a recovered file despite settings asking it to do so every 5 mins now. When i try to report the problem, it says it has found an issue and gives me a link to a solution....but wont let me click on the link.... PLEASE HELP! It's killing my productivity.

If the crash started right after you added RAM, it could be a bad Ram dimm. You can try this - change the amount of RAM in Photoshop to 4G, this should stop Photoshop from using the higher ram. If it doesn't crash, it's probably the ram. Or run a diagnostic app. You don't say when it crashes, what you're doing when it crashes - it there a pattern? Did it ever work on this computer? Did it work on your previous computer? Without a lot of data, it could be related to the new computer... What OS version? Did you recently update it? Have you updated Photoshop to the most recent update?
Do you have any plug-ins loaded? Try restarting Photoshop, and immediately press & hold the shfit key to turn off plug-ins.

  • Firefox crashes while logged into Lumosity

This what I related to Lumosity support:
I'm using Mozilla Firefox 22.0 (up to date) with Win7 and IE10 10.0.9200.16618 update version 10.0.6 is in the background (not using it for browsing, etc). I believe Java is involved in gaming, so here is that data: Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.250.17 10.25.2.17 and Java TM Platform SE7 U25 10.25.2.17 Whether I access Lumosity by email link or directly by the URL, Mozilla is crashing repeatedly, going on days now. It tends to crash with Disillusion very frequently (in other words when I finally get access, it crashes repeatedly). It has crashed on Familiar Faces and Rising Word Bubbles . I wish I could give you a better list - but it seems to crash w/more demanding games. It crashes while loading the game. The progress bar gets one-quarter into the load before it goes down.
I have been sending crash reports to Mozilla. I have looked on line for some answers. Nothing found yet in the way of answers. I have seen that various people (general online chats/forums) are experiencing the crashes and obtaining no answers. If there is more info you need that would help analyze and fix this, please let me know.
I have gone through Mozilla's general help about crashes and have restarted Mozilla in safe mode (no add ons) and I have opted out of using hardware acceleration (permanently). I do not think it's crashed in the safe mode.
My husband uses Lumosity on his computer and his entire computer shuts down. He has the same systems I have only on a PC (mine is a laptop). His Java versions, (Toolkit) - 7.0.60.24 10.6.2.24 Java TM Platform SE7 U610.6.2.24.
I received response from Lumosity and understand that support believes this issue may be due to a compatibility issue with plugins on the new version of Firefox. I also understand that Lumosity depends on Adobe Flash Player, so after discussion w/Lumosity support, I updated my Adobe Flash Player to v. 11.8.800.94. BTW Lumosity support is able to recreate the events w/Firefox and to control them by starting Firefox in safe mode.
I have uninstalled Firefox, deleted the Mozilla folder from the program files as outlined in support info. I did notice that uninstalling Firefox did not uninstall Mozilla Maintenance Service v. 22 7-2-13 333 KB. There were several folders in the Mozilla folder when I deleted it, the Maintenance file being one of them I am sure, and it is now dated today's date, v. 22 at 219kb.
In the process of this, I had notice of Windows updates, so I rebooted the computer to let the updates install. I went back to Mozilla and logged on to Lumosity, opened the game "Disillusion" and it started up fast w/o crashing. However, the very next game I opened, Rising Word Bubbles, it crashed. Twice or so. I opened Mozilla in safe mode and it did not crash when I played one of the games.
I think I have listed everything that I've done. Sure could use some help to fix this. I've even backed up and defragged.
One last thing, I had installed "Memeo Premium Backup" and was having trouble with that program crashing, Windows indicating it would debug and advise (nothing received on that). I am wondering if those problems were also a part of this problem. I have since gone back to "Memeo Instant Backup" which works fine. FYI
Now, I see there is a button to push that will automatically do something. I think I'll copy my notes, just in case. Probably TMI for an auto response anyway.
    Help. Thank you!
I typically LOVE Mozilla and spread the word ... oh please let there be an answer. ;)
(Cool, didn't expect the data after I clicked the button and installed. Woo-hoo. Keep on rocking Mozilla.)
    Thank you,
    Jenn

Thanks - I'll go the "safe" route and disable add ons.

An error occurred during calculation of the net present value.
The yield curve for determining the net present value is not completely maintained. Possible causes are:
    1. Evaluation type IM01 does not exist (table ATSYC).
    2. Yield curve types 9990 (bid) and 9991 (ask) have not been created (table JBD14) for the currency of the controlling area of the appropriation request.
    3. Reference interest rates have not been created for the yield curves (tables T056R and JBD15).
    4. Interest rates are not maintained for the complete planning time period for the reference interest rates.
    5. Under certain circumstances, the standard exchange rate types 'G' and 'B' may be inconsistent.
    Procedure
    Check your Customizing settings:
    1. SAP supplies the evaluation types.
Remember, SAP supplies the evaluation types in client 000. You have to copy them into your working clients. If you do not have them in your system, you can create them in Customizing for the Treasury component (Treasury Management -> Market Risk Management -> Evaluations -> Define Default Settings). Create evaluation type IM01 with bid yield curve type 9990 and ask yield curve type 9991.
    2. In Customizing for appropriation requests (under Planning), create a bid yield curve type 9990 and an ask yield curve type for the currency of the controlling area of the appropriation request.
    3. Create at least one reference interest rate for each yield curve.
    4. Maintain the reference rates, starting at the minimum fron the point at which you you have planned costs or revenue.
    5. Check Customizing of the exchange rate types 'G' and 'B' in the IMG under Global Settings -> Currencies.
I have checked all the procedures of the said customization and the values are similar to that of the error message, but still I'm unable to proceed further.
I have goe through the note 160375, but did not succeed on this issue.
Can any one help me out in solving the above error and also can any one explain me the process in SAP to calculate IRR?
Is there any more customization missing or whats wrong going in that process?
    Please help me out...
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards,
    Praveen.

  • Indesign getting crash while exporting because of bad pdf inside file.

    Hi,
My indesing is getting crash while exporting to pdf. I have link to pdf file inside the indesign file, when i export that indesign file to pdf indesign is getting crash without showing any error message. If i place another pdf file in same location then it is going fine and i can able to get the output pdf file. Please suggest me how can i check and correct that pdf file and is there any solution to this. Please help me i have thousands of indesign pages with the same issue. If you want pdf i can send it to your mail id. please i need fix for this problem.
    Thanks
    Kiran

For all of you lurkers, Kiran sent me a copy of the PDF, and it looks like I found the problem (and learned a new technique which may help others in the same boat).
I tried re-frying the file by creating an eps and distilling, but the result was the same, then I tried exporting from CS3, just for fun, and it worked, but I realized the PDF had been cropped, so I started trying differnt sections and isolated an area that failed, though that wasn't particularly helpful.
Acrobat preflight didn't find anything that looked odd or problematic, and then I decided to run Examine Document. It came up with MetaData (no surprise) and also two items under a heading of Deleted and Cropped objects, with no preview or description. I unselected the MetaData from the list of found stuff, them clicked the Remove button in the Examine Document panel, and resaved (and while you have the opportunity to give it a new name, doing so doesn't remove the stuff untill you do the whole procedure again and save with the same name). Placed the new version of the PDF in a new file and exported no problem.

  • LV crashes while loading my llb, but the built app. functions correctly???

Im hoping someone may understand the cause of the LabVIEW crash Im experiencing.
LabVIEW 6.1 crashes and Windows 2000 says, "LabVIEW.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows" when I try to load an llb by clicking on the top-level vi from within LabVIEW or when opening the llb from outside LabVIEW. It crashes while loading particular sub-vis of the llb. If I try to load the offending subvis directly, I also get the same crash. If I build the llb into an application, the build goes smoothly and the resulting application functions correctly. If I use a splash screen approach and do not load the offending sub-vis (by not opening vi references to them), they load-up fi
ne when the top-level vi loads and then I am able to edit and re-save any vi of the llb including the offending sub-vis. Ive tried re-saving the llb as a separate development distribution and still get the same crash behavior. Ive also tried saving the offending sub-vis to separate files outside the mother llb (after getting them open with the splash screen approach) and I get the same crash when I open these files. If I save one of the offending sub-vis as a separate llb, I cant get it open even with the splash screen approach. Ive loaded the latest video driver for my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop and I get the same behavior on a Dell Dimension 8200 desktop that is also running Windows 2000 (Version 5 SP4). There are 110 objects in my llb that includes *.vis, *.rtms, and *.ctls.. Any ideas as to why/how this is occurring and how I can fix it? Is this a known 6.1 bug that is fixed in 7? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Ive included my splash screen like loader, f
    or what its worth. Thanks.

Thanks for responding. Your understanding is correct. Mass compiling was one of the first things I tried (although I failed to mention it). I also un-installed and re-installed LabVIEW. It crashes during mass compiling of the full llb, although the vi that it appears to be working on when it crashes is not an offender, i.e. I can open that vi fine. The crash during mass compiling is the same crash, i.e. Windows says it had to close LabVIEW because it generated errors.
Ive attached one of the offenders. It is missing many of its sub-vis so youll have to hit ignore vi a bunch when opening it. (The llb of it is ~2.6 MB. I thought that might be too big/rude to post.) This vi crashes LabVIEW upon mass compile or upon opening it (after hit
    ting ignore subvi a bunch).
I was going to attach an llb of another smaller offender, but in the process of editing it to be a little prettier and better documented, the problem kind of vanished for that vi. The main routine still crashes when I mass compile the full llb, but now I can open some of the old offenders without incident. I still cant open the main routine directly as it crashes LabVIEW. Thanks for your time.
