Qty to be updated and not inventory

Hi
We have a plant "X" as no value warehouse
Now I have a situation that I need to move some product to "X" as no value (as we get free goods from one location "Y" and then when we ship the product from "X"; we will charge the customer and pay back the money to that location "Y")
<b>We do not want this product to have any Inventory value to be updated in the system but just Qty in system</b> (and this product is a common product so if we keep in other warehouse "apart from X"; it will evaluate the value)
Hence can anyone and advise me for some solution if possible

Caching service only works for OS X updates and not for Apps

Hello,
It seems that my OS X Server Caching service only works for Apple OS X Software Updates (in Mac App Store updates, when the icon of Mountain Lion appears). I see it in my logs in verbose mode when I download an Apple OS X Software Updates and not when I download an app in Mac Appstore.
So I'm sure my Caching service works but not for all downloads.
Why ? What's wrong with my server ?
I read in some blogs that Caching Server can work for iOS devices appstore too. I try to download some apps with my iphone but nothing happens in logs ...
Can somebody help me about the Caching Server ?

Probably because it was hacked/jailbroken to unlock it. Jailbroken or hacked phones cannot receive support on these forums. Sorry.

Hummmm, you might not be missing anything... From what I understand, really the only new visible add-on apps type programs are Newstand and Reminders. The Notification Center seems to be about how your info and alerts are pushed to your screen and you control that thru the phone settings>General>Notifications, the panel is accessed by swiping downward from the top of your screen. Weird I know, should be more obvious. Enjoy!
Don't forget, you can now use the volume button on the side of your phone to take photos. I really like this!

Error message with offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there) cannot partition SD card

Hi - Recently I put the latest update on my LT15i (4.1.B.0.587), after this I rooted the phone, and everything seemed okay. But since then I keep getting an error message with an offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and the note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there). The news line on top shows a red exclamation mark all the time. It seems to me that it is due to this error that I cannot partition my SD card. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that? IOS 7 App Store showing old updates / showing updates and not letting me install

I noticed two issues with the iOS 7 App Store starting last night. I'm not sure if it's a temporary issue, since the issue seems to be server-side on Apple's part, or if it's a long-term issue.
I am running iOS 7.0.2 on an iPhone 5s. I do not have automatic updates for apps turned on (I like checking what an app is updating before installing it). I have tried force quitting the App Store app and restarted my iPhone.
The first thing I noticed last night was that the App Store showed an update for Hulu Plus on my iPhone but wouldn't let me install it. On my iPad (3rd-gen) running iOS 7, it let me install it. This morning, it let me install it. After, I noticed another badge on my App Store app icon with a "1", and it said there was an update for 94 Seconds, but wouldn't let me install it either. Then when I expanded the details, I noticed the date on it was from July 30, 2013. I already had that update installed over 2 months ago. Screenshots for that issue are below.
Is anhyone else experiencing anything similar? Any solutions?

I do indeed seem to recall that happening with an app previously.
However, this time it was two apps (Google and Tivo). I figured they'd get flushed out when more updates (for other apps) hit the App Store. However, when that happened just now, while it did show "update" for those old updates instead of "open", I could not select "update all" up top and had to press update next to each of the (now 4) apps. The real issue though is that it (of course) can't further update Google and Tivo and gets stuck. So I can't update any of my apps now.
When I went back into App Store I then got the blank screen that shows nothing under updates but the "Purchased" slider up top. I thus had to reboot. I can get back into the App Store, and got an error regarding the Tivo update not being available (this was a Jan 10 or so update that had already been installed), but there it still sits in the updates. Interestingly, Google did "update" and fall off the badge indicator. I selected only my true/new updates, so now I'm just stuck with a false Tivo update/badge.
I should add that I am on 7.0.4.
EDIT: Tivo "updated" after the reboot too. So, bottom line is that you're (I'm) stuck with the false updates until a real update comes through, and then I have to go through that song and dance to clear out the false flags.

How do you backup all files from the ipod to perform a software update and not lose anything?

Is there a way to BULK COLLECT with FOR UPDATE and not lock ALL the rows?

Currently, we fetch a cursor on a few million rows using BULK COLLECT.
In a FORALL loop, we update the rows.
What is happening now, is that we run this procedure at the same time, and there is another session running a MERGE statement on the same table, and a DEADLOCK is created between them.
I'd like to add to the cursor the FOR UPDATE clause, but from what i've read,
it seems that this will cause ALL the rows in the cursor to become locked.
This is a problem, as the other session is running MERGE statements on the table every few seconds, and I don't want it to fail with ORA-0054 (resource busy).
What I would like to know is if there is a way, that only the rows in the
current bulk will be locked, and all the other rows will be free for updates.
To reproduce this problem:

HT1758 Power failure in the middle of a software update and not the computer will not boot up. The computer just has a white screen with a grey apple and just loads non stop.

My iMac will not boot up after a software update. the screen is all whute will show a grey apple in the middle and will look like it is working but nothing happens; this can go on forever.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have a backup in the form of a bootable clone or Time Machine? Restore that and then try the update again.

Another option might be to download the standalone from Apple Downloads on another Mac and try installing it in Firewire Target Disk Mode to the Mac that was interrupted during the update.

Purchased apps didn't get updates and not appear in the cloud

Hello,
Some apps did not added to my Purchased Apps. Most of this are free apps like Facebook, Flipboard, Popular Science, Wired, Imdb etc...
So when this apps get an update in the store, symbol appears next to the Application tab on iTunes, mark that there is an available update. But when I click on check for updates it says there is no available updates for my account.
At this point I start deleting apps from my library until the symbol mark disappear. Then I can know which app makes the problem and purchase it again. But still it doesn't added to my Purchased Apps, and it doesn't get a "Downloaded" mark on the store next to it or appear in the cloud.
It's really annoying. I want to get those apps on my cloud.

IPad update and Notes (a question)

I read an earlier post about a user who lost his notes when applying the latest update. I wanted to know if this was the exception, or if it's normal? I'm going to update my wife's iPad and she has a lot of notes that I'd hate to lose. If it does wipe them out, can I restore them from the back up that I'll do before updating? Thank you for your help.

I had a issue with notes, I noticed when I entered multiple email accounts the account with the notes was not set to default. In Settings under Notes it had Yahoo notes as default not mobileMe, I changed it back to the correct account.
You can always pull up your notes prior to syncing and press the Home middle button and the Power button at the same time and snap a picture of the notes. It may take a few tries snapping a picture of your notes if you don't normally snap pictures of your screen.

Since the new update, when I plug my phone to my car stereo it shows albums/music that I have in my main computer and it seems to be sorting through it making it run slower. Also when I skip to the next track it displays music not on my device but that could be found in my computer or iCloud

If you mean this one:
It's the orientation lock, it stops the display rotating when you rotate your phone.
You can turn this on/off from the control Centre which you can reveal by swiping upwards from the bottom of the screen.
