Quaestion 2 Cannot see my new I-Phone 5 on my PC's C drive

I have just replaced my I-Phone 4 with an I-Phone 5 and although everything seems to be syncing well (contacts, calendars etc) I cannot see my device on my PC's C drive....which is prventing me moving files e.g. photographs between my phone and my PC? Help? Thankyou

Excel - Cannot see any new data in Excel Workbook

Hi There,
Wonder if anyone can help, we have a .xlsx file, we have it setup so that only one person at a time can edit the workbook.
When a colleague edits some data and saves the change, I go into it but cannot see the new data. I then do the same but she cannot see the changes and neither can a 3rd colleague. In effect, whenever any one
makes a change in the workbook, no one else can see the new saved data that has been added.
The work book is not protected. It is stored on a server, all users are running Office 2013 apart from
1 who is using 2003, but it doesnt matter as even if a change is made using office2013, another office 2013 client still can't see the change.
It doesn't seem to happen with any other workbooks.
Tried open and repair which didn't work. Also tried saving a new version of the workbook, this works for a while but then the issue comes back on the new version.
Any ideas, as currently we keep having to save new versions of the workbook.

What's the extension of this particular file ?Try another file format to test this issue.
Did you get any message when try to save the document? Also does this problem happens when use the 'save as' option within Excel to save the file?
Also try to download the excel file to local driver, update the Excel file,then upload it to the server.

My MacBook Pro 2.33GHz cannot see the New Airport Extreme

Just bought the new Airport Extreme(Wireless N). Power it up, cannot see the new wireless network under the Airport signal icon. The Machine have no problem using my older Netgear wireless router(G) and the new Linksys Wire router(N). Just connot see the new Apple Airport Extreme.
My the other two iMac(G5 and Intel) 20" can see all three wireless network and connet to them without any problem.
My only question is has Apple implement any "regional code" on the hardware. My MacBook Pro is from US and the new Airport Extreme was bought in New Zealand.
Any suggestion? BTW a clean install of the System didn't help. Found out after 2-3 hours of installation of System and all my Application back.

To use the Airport Utility you must select your network under that Airport icon but you can't. So what to try? Of course you may need to reset your router. If still not visually seen under Airport then go to system preferences/network/status and choose Airport. Look for the preferred drop down menu. If network is seeen then select it and hit apply. Then select under Airport icon then use the Airport Utility. If not seen in preferred then type in your network exact name or use the + button. The above will work you just need to keep trying.

Content is added on a friday, but we currently have titles missing on the classic platform (old software) which haven't been added yet and I hope they don't try adding these tomorrow as the new content

Macs with a FireWire port will also boot happily from an External drive. You don't even need to open the MacBook.
Some users buy a drive they would like to have as a future Internal drive, and also buy an external enclosure. They get the External set up the way they want it, then swap with the Internal drive.

I cannot see a new mailbox in mail with OS mavericks

I created a new mailbox but cannot see it. I saw somewhere in the support groups that I should look for user/library/mail folder but cannot find that either. I then decided to see if updating mail would help but when I started to install the update I got the message that my hard drive cannot support the update. I have an OS X 10.9.3 in 3.06 GHz INterl Core 2 Duo iMac with 12GB RAM and 130 GB of free space on the hard drive. Mail is version 7.3.

Might be corrupted Mail preferences after upgrading to Mavericks ...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy / paste the following:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Preferences
Then click Go. Move the com.apple.mail.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac then try adding a new mailbox.

My new WD My Passport for mac,1 Tb harddrive in finder. it's there initially then disapears, I can see it in disk utilities and in the systrm report, so I think it is moounting, but difficult to access and to ejet when not visible in the finder sidebar. This has a USB 3 connection, whic i states is also compatible with USB 2

Check the format of the drive when in disk utility. It should be
Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
A powererd external usb hub can help when the computer's usb port is marginal.

My computer cannot see my new airport express (Blinking Yellow)

OK, Ive been sitting here for an hour and this thing keeps blinking yellow..lol
I reset it twice but it will not appear in the airport setup utility.I am trying to extend my network from my Airport extreme in the basement.

I hope you are sitting 2 feet away from the Airport Extreme with the Airport Express plugged in near it along with your MacBook.
If not, you should do this all in the same room to begin with..
Next, it sounds like you need to reset the new Express.
Unplug it, push a clip into the reset button and while holding the reset button in, plug the Express back in and keep holding the clip in for at least 10 seconds.
Now, wait a minute or two and see if the Express shows back up in the Airport Utility window.
If it does, set it up again the way you want.

I am having problems installing my new printer onto my laptop that has Windows 8 on it. The CD that came with it will not install saying that the driver is being used by another user on this computer. I am the only user. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I have read here it is not possible to downgrade - I wish it was!!!
Some replies say that people should have researched what iOS7 would look like before upgrading but to be honest I just did not believe that it could be as bad as it turned out to be.
I have sent feedback to Apple here and would encourage you to do the same - they need to know how difficult it is now the visual contrasts are so poor:

If you go to Settings -> General -> "Accessibility" it helps a little to do this:
Larger type: ON
Bold text: ON
Increase Contrast: ON
I found that the "Invert Colors" option did not help as it made many controls even more difficult to see!
I have never had to use the Accessibility settings before - the design of iOS7 is a wonderful if unwelcome illustration of the Social Model of Disability in action! Apple used to excel at accessible design. The difference between iOS7 and all previous versions illustrates perfectly that bad design is disabling!

After doing so i can see the link on the menu list and i can navigate to the page. I think there is something missing in my setup can you help by giving the details of how to define menus and functions if i want to see the tabbed page do the setup so that i can see the page.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

[925 Series] no audio.. cannot see audio

please help.. have bought a 925x mother board and ac97 and azilla is set up as auto.... installed pre sp1 xp onto system to confirm boot up.. cannot see the audio codec in the hardware manager and cannnot istall driver cos it cant see the hardware?
