Qualification catalog

Hi expert,
I am a beginner with SAP CRM 2007.
I have created a qualification catalog in the SAP GUI with a structure : for example :
SAP
CRM Module
Service
In the WebUI, when I want to assign a qualification to an employee I see only the first level (SAP), in the SAP GUI, I see all the tree of qualification.
How to do to display also the tree in the WebUI ?

BAPI_QUALIFIC_GETLIST
This one returns the qualifications for an employee.
Another function is
BAPI_QUALIDIRECTORY_LIST
that returns all qualifications in list.

It is working fine , if user is assigned sap_all role. This is issue with permissions. Which role need to be assigned to work with Skills Profile in r3. Please help me out.

Have a look in table T77S0 for an entry called QUALI ESSST and make sure the object ID stored there matches the appropriate node in your qualifications catalogue.
This setting is designed to be used for restricting ESS users to a particular part of the Quals Catalogue.
If the table entry was configured in your development system, it may not match the obect numbers in your production system.

Issue in PD- qualification catalog

Dear Sap folks
I have an issue in creating qualification catalog. I selected catalog and clicked on create but after that i get a message as
"en error occured during external number assignment" Please help me with number range assignment as well.

Pls check the t code OONR for number range and check ur subgroup (standard $$$$) in which first two $$ is plan version and last two $$ is object type.
so u r having the error while creating the qualification catalog (QK) than ur subgroup must be Plan version+QK. select this subgrop and click on number range maintenance and setup interval for ur number range as per ur requirement or u can change the status by deselecting the external (Ext) check box.

E-Recruitment u2013 Qualifications Catalog not displayed as a hierarchy view

I have an issue where I need your support,
We are implementing E-recruitment EH4, E-recruitment is running on a separate instance,
ALE for moving Qualification groups & Qualifications has been done,
And I can use our qualifications with candidates or requisitions,
My issue here is Qualification group (QK) not displayed on a hierarchy view as displayed on R3,
T. Code OOQA as instance,
My case for example, we have only 5 main qualification groups and we have huge number of sub groups, so It comes on E-recruitment view as tap pages , Is there any way to view Qualification groups On a hierarchy view ,

there is not really the possibility to have two different cataloges for internal and external candiates.
In most of the projects I did the customer decided on a standalone scenario for e-recruiting and created an e-recruiting qualification catalog which was much smaller than the one of the personal development on the hr core server. It was used more for a general orientation on a hand full of key language and IT skills. We usually had 2 or 3 QK with perhaps 20 or 30 qualification. Overall the customers tended to not to overrate the technical features of profile comparison between requisition and candidate. They just took the general information and had a look on it in the personal interview with the candidate - the candidates self evaluation is often not very exact ;o).
A possibility which might be interesting for you are the options for the T77S0 switch RECFA HRQUA. Have a look at the description for the IMG node unter E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Set System Parameters. There is one setting that allows to use the full qualification catalog for internal candidates and only the QKs assigned to "SAP_ERECRUITING" for the externals.

Keyword Seach on Qualification Catalog

We recently implemented LSO and a concern has been raised regarding the skills that they have added to the skills catalog. These new skills should only be assigned once an employee undergoes a specific training (should never be selectable by the
employees). On our ESS and ERC, employees are able to update their qualifications. When using the skills catalog this is restricted in ERC (due to the configuration). However when using the keyword search it pulls up all the skills defined in the catalog.
A suggestion was made that we hide the key word search from the qualification screen (please see attached pdf). I was informed that this is a JAVA webdynpro and that it could not be done.
My question is:
1. Is there any other way to limit the keyword search?
2. Can we hide the key word search option on the qualification screen?

Hi,
I have to create a categorization schema and then a new category. I tried following post on SDN:

Bit I could not understand why and how this schema is created in CRM 7.0. They speak about some category hierarchy in this post but where it appears on WebUI?
Same doubt is with Qualification catalog. Why and how it is created in CRM 7.0?

1) Why ? If you need any of the provided functionnalities described in the following online help:

2) How ? I don't think you will find any better explanation and step-by-step procedure than in the thread you've mentioned. So if you are facing any issue, kindly be more specific.
3) Where ? Service ticket creation screen, interaction record, case management, etc.
I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with "qualification catalog".

E-recruiting qualification catalog

can we create a qualification catalog individually in E-recruiting , i.e. in addition to the PD qualifcation catalog.
if so, how to do it!

Hi Bharat!
In the IMG for e-recruiting you can limit which qualification group(s) you want to make available to e-recruiting.
So it is not a spearate catalog, it is part of the one PD catalog, but you can reduce the qualifications being available to e-recruiting.

Define Qualification Catalog (cProjects)

In the transaction OOQA, when I create a qualification group and fill in required fields and try saving, I get a message "An error occured in saving". Is there some note which I can try?
On the whole, I intend defining the task/resource qualification catalog. How do I do this?

I am able to create the qualification catalog using the details you suggested.
I am now looking to specify the qualifications for a Business Partner (created under the Employee role). I get to the s000 transaction, and 'Collaboration Projects > Qualifications > Change Qualification Profile' I get the BP whose qualification I need to specify. What next? I am not too sure of what to proceed with. I have SAP All access. However, when I select this BP, in the right pane of the page, I see a 'Qualification' tab below which I see 'No authorization for the sub profile'. Any idea???

there is no limit i guess. may be 99999999
You can create any number of qualification under qualification catalogue. but my suggesion is to create many catalogues under a catalogue for good understanding and classification

Edit Qualification Catalog

Hi Experts,
When I am trying to delete or create an entry in "Edit Qualification Catalog" node I am getting a msg"Entry in outbound table not found". I am doing this in dev server.

Hi,
this could still be an issue of authorization. If someone revoked authorizations by taking roles away from your user or by restricting roles before transporting to production.
It could also be that someone activated structural authorizations for your user by removing the default entry responsible for assigning structural authoizations to all users without explicit assignment or changing the default users structural profile.
As the issue can be reproduced on the development system I would assign SAP_ALL authorization profile to the user and structural authorization profile ALL.

If you mean to load 100's of qualification and qualification group , probably you need to use lsmw/ecatt/bdc .Record using tcode pp02.
You need to have a seperate recording for qualification group and qualification.Make sure you are capturing all few which are available in tcode OOQA(for this necessary config settings much be in place)

Assign Qualification Catalog

We created, qualification catalog, QK, and Qualifications via OOQA. Then created Qualification Categories, via SPRO-Talent Mgmt and Talent Development-qualifications in Talent Management.
Now need to assign Qualifications to Qualification Categories, what should be the object ID in the table here?
Please help.

just 2 things, how do I select multiple entries via OOQA, I did, while staying in the HRP1001 table, I selected the multiple column button, this gave me the list of all QK IDs and then I marked Check on each row of all QK object Ids, hope this is what you meant, not going to OOQA tcode in separate session, please confirm, becasue, going via OOQA give the tree of QK objects with Qs under each QK.
Secondly, should I delete SOBID Column before downloading entries to the excel, if so, how can I do it?

We are looking to load Qualification Catalog and Matrix using excel/csv file, in SAP MRS.
Any BAPi/function module that we can refer to.... Any other inputs/pointers on developing this load program - please share...

Hi,
IN the transaction OOQA click on create button and create this will create a QK Qualification group and assign a scale to the Qualification Group,
On the qualification Group place your cursor and click on create button system will ask you to create qualifications or qualification Group under this.
Rating scale will be inherted from the main group itself.
