I did some more study on lead transaction and following is my conclusion.

I need to develop a custom BSP search page which is a modified version of search.htm page of HCM_LEARNING bsp application.
here we need to replace the Qualification dropdown boxes with 2 qualifications in tree format where first one is 1. Prerequisite and 2. Aspired . the values will be in node format and the other functionality should work the same way as it works in search.htm page.
How to handle 3 events now?? 1. Node click on Prerequisite Tree
2. Node Click on Aspired Tree
3. Find button click
Only when the find button is clicked , The search should happen not on any node click.

Not able to get the Qualification data from BAPI

Hi all,
I am using a BAPI (BAPI_JOBREQUIRE_GETLIST) to get the qualifiaction data for requirement profile. It's working fine earlier but I did not get the qualification data from this BAPI, although the data is there in DB against this requirement profile.
Can someone suggest me why I am getting this issue. I have looked into SDN and in BAPI documentation and found as below:
"You require authorization (structural authorization) to read the Requirements subprofile."
I am having the same User ID as I had before (when I getting back the correct data), so I don't think it should be authorization issue.
Can someone help me out in this issue please.

Hi Shiva,
It does not going to these includes at all. Message comes out with successfully done. The BApi is calling RHPP_COMMON_QUALI_READ inside, but this will not return any data. But if will call any qualification object ID, this BAPI will come up with data.
So the QP type LO profile will not come up with any kind of data, but if we pass the OTYPE as Q and pass any Qualification object ID then the data will be returned.
Is there any relationship or some other thing is missing? Any idea.

Mail.app - Applescript - Looking for help with my 1st Applescript

Okay… so I am taking the plunge. I've finally found something that is bugging me enough that I want to make a script to resolve it.
*Here's the situation:*
I use Smart Mailboxes a lot. It's my primary window into dealing with email.
I use MailTags (an addon for Mail) to apply keywords to messages, via Mail Act-On rules (an addon by the same company).
I use Smart Mailboxes to show me messages with various keywords etc.
What I have found is that Smart Mailboxes do NOT automatically update themselves. For instance, when a message in the Smart Mailbox is changed in such a way that the filter on that mailbox should not display it, the message will still sit there until I either leave the mailbox and return, or hit Rebuil in the Mailbox menu.
The same applies for when new mail comes into my Inbox. If there is new mail that qualifies for inclusion in the smart mailbox I am currently viewing, it will not appear until I do one of the above two things.
What I discovered was this script:

"Mailbox" in menu bar 1 of process "Mail"

This is what got me thinking about scripting a solution.
The other option is to assign a keyboard shortcut to the Rebuild command. But I would like the Rebuild to take place automatically when I apply certain rules to messages. I want my Mail Act-on rule to trigger the a Rebuild. I figure I can do this by having it trigger the Rebuild script shown above.
*HERE IS MY QUESTION:*
Is there a way to have the script check what the currently active/selected Mailbox is? Or, put another way, can I get it to NOT run if certain mailboxes are selected?
Here's what I am thinking.
Under no circumstances do I want this script to be triggered if the current mailbox is NOT a smart mailbox, and IS any of my IMAP mailboxes… most especially the Inboxes. That would trigger a complete cleaning out and rebuilding of the entire IMAP inbox, which has many gigs of mail in it.
What I am trying to figure out, and would love some help with, is how I can make sure this script ONLY runs when the current mailbox is either ANY smart mailbox, or NOT an IMAP mailbox, or some other logic that keeps it from running in an IMAP mailbox.
Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I appreciate your help with this. I am also enjoying learning more about AppleScript. It seems much easier that other scripting languages, if for no other reason that it uses basic english logic and words.
When I run your script with an inbox selected, I get the following Result:

When I run it with a smart mailbox selected the following is produced:

So get the impression it's not throwing up an error. Certainly, either way it does not run what I put into the On Error section, which was simply
display dialog "Success"
Is this useful? Can I test if the output contains the word "INBOX" ?
I notice that if I have, for instance, a SENT folder select, it gives the following result:

{mailbox "INBOX/Sent Messages" of account "[email protected]" of application "Mail"}
Which again has the word INBOX in there. Drafts comes up a little different.
Result:
{mailbox "Drafts ([email protected])" of application "Mail"}
So if there was a way to parse the result through a test against "INBOX" "DRAFT" etc then this might work. What do you think?

Help getting iphone 4s out of recovery mode as i keep getting error 1611 or error 21.

can anyone help (with ways to fix this issue other than the 1's ive already tred) I was charging my phone and when i went to get off off charge it was dead and only displayed the itunes connect image. I have tried to restore it and when i connect it to itunes it displays this message 'itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore ths iphone before it can be used with itunes' so i tried to restore it may times now but get so far and then have an error message. Ive had error 1611, error 21 error 1611 again and error 21 a further 4 times. I have also been to the apple store and made an appointment with the so called geniuis people however after 4 and a half hours waiting to be seen did they take my phone out the back then over 15 mins later the chap dealing with me came back saying ' WHEN DID YOU HAVE A NEW SCREEN FITTED' I replied 2/3 months ago as i dropped it on my table and the screen cracked so i took it to a phone repair shop and paid £105 to have it replaced and my phone was working fine after I wasnt aware that the warranty covered you for a cracked screen that you was caused because you dropped it accedentaly etc.... well any way tghe chap then said ' I can t help you any further as you need to go back to the shop who changed the screen and get them to resolve this isssue. I asked how on earth can a new sceen fitted cause my phone to go in to recovry mode (2/3 months after the screen was replaced mind) the reply i got was ' Its not my issue its out of my hands........' I was more than tamping, raging fuming leaving there as no advice was given to rectifiy the issue i have with my phone. The following morning i went straight to the shop that replaired/replaced my cracked screen and told them what apple had said to me and that i was to come back to yourselves as you need to rectify the issue? to say the repair guy was baffled is an understatement but in fairness at least he tried to help me and attempted to restore it on itunes 6 times in total and changed the battery to a brnd new 1 plus checked the charging port to make sure this was not faulty. after all his help he was still baffled as to why apple felt its his fault after replacing a cracked screen as the error codes being displayed clearly were a software issue not an issue caused by replacing the crakced sceen'
I was more than happy to pay apple and charges to fix my phone based on the fact my warranty was now null and void (which is pathetic as the replacement screen was an apple origianl replacement screen it was just fitted by someone else whom is qualifed to do so) but wasnt even given the option to pay for any repairs etc.....they simply blamed someone else and offer me no further help.
so a week later after this first hapen to my phone whilst on charge and i still in the same boat and have run out of things to try (which was all found by using google as apple support secton is a load of fresh air and doenst actually give you the info and help your need.
Im grateful of any help that can be offered.

Help - please tell me if sth is wrong with my plan!

I have joined this community because I am a wimp. Well, here is the thing:
I have a one year old Lenovo R61 with an OEM version of Windows XP Pro 32bit version pre-loaded. Now I would like to do three things at once with this laptop:
A) upgrade the RAM from 3 to 4 GB (2GB DIMM bought via Lenovo)
B) replace the 160GB hard drive with a new 500 GB hard drive
C) upgrade Windows XP 32bit to Windows 7 64bit with a commercial upgrade disk
(actually to Win 7 Ultimate 64bit, if I understood it right, any previous Win XP version qualifies for any Win 7 upgrade?!)
This is the first time I am doing such a major computer makeover myself and the first time I do anything to computer hardware. So I am a little nervous if everything will work out fine. Here is my attack plan that I have put together after several internet searches. Please please please let me know in case I missed something important that could screw it all!
Step 1 - Preparations
I bought all the above mentioned upgrades, created Windows XP recovery discs inside my running Win XP system and checked with the "Windows 7 upgrade advisor" that my hardware is sufficient for a Win 7 install. I already have all the program install discs ready for re-installing after the "clean install" of Windows 7.
Step 2 - Backups
I plan to do a final backup of all my data files on an external hard drive. For this purpose I downloaded "Windows Easy Transfer", but being overly cautious I still intend to manually copy all document files, browser bookmarks etc. as well.
Step 3 - Hardware Installation
I printed out the instructions from the Lenovo website to install the hardware and if I got it right the order would be:
take out battery pack --> replace RAM & hard drive --> put battery pack back in --> restart
I read that I have to somehow "partition this hard drive correctly" before installing anything on it. Honestly I have no clue how to do that and what I should look after. If anyone of you can give me some easily understandable advice on that, I would be very grateful!
Step 4 - Win XP reinstallation on new hard drive
Here I am a little confused. I hope I got it right that I can move the Win XP to a new hard drive, even if my XP is an OEM version and I do not have an installation disk? I plan to use my "system recovery disks" created in the current XP system. I read some stuff about "cloning software", but since I have to do a Win 7 "clean install" anyway that will wipe my whole disk, I feel it is not worth cloning the old disk on it first. Right?
Step 5 - Win 7 upgrade
I will use the bought Windows 7 upgrade disk to overwrite the restored Win XP with it. Since the XP was a 32bit and I want to install Win 7 64bit, do I need to do any other changes before?
Step 6 - Software re-install
Here I will re-install all earlier software from the scratch to the new hard drive. I am mostly worried about one: I have the Office 2007 package as an OEM version pre-installed on my Windows XP OS. Could there arise any problems to re-install Office 2007 to the Windows 7 drive (using the genuine discs provided by Lenovo with the new XP computer)? I hope not. If so, what is the best way around any possible problems?
Step 7 - Data recovery via Windows Easy Transfer
Do you think that should work? Or should I change anything in this plan?
Also I wondered, in case I want to re-install Windows 7 later on (after a crash, to refresh the computer or else) or install it to a new hard drive/computer, will I be able to do that with the upgrade disk?

Ok, finally...but with a lot of hassel!
IMPORTANT to anybody who might try the same thing (new hard drive & Windows 7 Upgrade):
DO NOT TRY (as proposed here) TO INSTALL WINDOWS 7 DIRECTLY ONTO THE NEW HARD DRIVE!!!
Initially everything seemed to work fine and Windows 7 installed properly, BUT since it did not find an earlier Windows version on the new hard drive I was unable to activate Windows 7! So you HAVE to first re-install Windows XP (or any other earlier Win version) and then upgrade with Windows 7 to overwrite it.
So far so good, I thought. BUT: Since Windows 7 creates a partitioned hard drive, you cannot simply overwrite it with a Windows XP Recovery disk. I tried that, without success. Using the recovery boot disk I created earlier in XP I did not get the option to recover XP as a factory setup first. Instead it allowed me only to do a full restore, for which I did not have the disks.
So basically I was stuck until I had the idea to go back to the Windows 7 Upgrade CD, boot with this one and then chose in the option menu popping up to format the hard drive instead of installing Windows 7. Only this allowed me to afterwards reboot and recover Windows XP, then overwrite it with the Windows 7 Upgrade.
To make a long story short, again, do NOT try to install Windows 7 Upgrade directly onto a new hard drive. Instead go right away for the Win XP Recovery discs.
Sidenote: The Lenovo Support was not at all helpful. I would have expected more for being a customer who bought two laptops in the last year from them. I spent ten minutes to give him all my personal data just for him to tell me that the warranty had run out and that there was no way he could assist me. Instead I should go to this forum. Dude, honestly? The least I had expected would have been that he would have offered me the option to pay for his assistance. But NOTHING! So, though I like the Thinkpads, after the experience of this really POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, next time I will probably go for the competition. Blame yourself, Lenovo!

Why do you want to trigger a wflow and what do you want to do with this trigger. Can you give more details of your exact requirements.
But, if you are looking for how to trigger, you can write a small ABAP pgm and schedule it as a job every night. THis job basically reads the table P1000-ENDDA for expiry date and if it reached today, then you can either trigger the wflow with SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW or use SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT to raise your custom event(for Business Obj. BUS7018, i think this is your BO and there are no std events right now, so you will ahve to add your custom event by extending BUS7018 to ZBUS7018).

One part of my assignment uses Inheritance and unfortunately I missed the lecture on this topic.
The problem goes like this:
I need to create the following 3 classes
Student class : Includes all common data from the UGStudent and GradStudent
UGStudent class : Creates a single UGStudent object. This class is descendant from Student.
GradStudent class : Creates a single GradStudent object. This class is descendant from Student.
I then have to read data in from a text file, which I can do.
Each line of the data file represents either an entry of UGStudent or GradStudent (each detail separated by ;).
The format for a UGStudent will be :
name, student id, address, contact phone number, subject number followed by list of marks (integer)
eg: Joe Bloggs;123456;1 First St, Sometown,9999;0401 234 567;9876;75;62;84
The format for a GradStudentwill be :
name, student id, address, contact phone number, previous degree, year of graduation, subject number followed by list of marks (integer)
eg: Bill Smith;111222;2 Second St, Sometown,9999;0499 876 543;B Sc;2000;5432;57;65;74

HP Envy 13 1030nr. Windows 7 64-bit. RAM upgrade help.

I just purchased a RAM upgrade for my Envy 13 and I was trying to figure out how exactly to access the memory module. I couldn't find a youtube video for the Envy 13 and reading the maintenance manual provides only partial instructions to access the memory module. It tells you what you need to do (Disconnect the TouchPad cable 2 from the low insertion force (LIF) connector on the system board) but not how to do it without damaging the computer. I don't want to permanently sever a cable or anything so I'm looking for help via a link to a video or more detailed instructions on exactly how to safely access the memory module.
I was under the impression that this would be a quick replacement, but the more I read the manual, the more I think that this is going to be a little more complicated than opening up the bottom and removing the current RAM chip and replacing it with the one I have. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dear Sir or Madam，
I am a student in China, I really need your help, my iphone now problems bothers me! HELP ME PLEASE!!!
As I bought my iPhone 4s(16GB,White) in the USA from Sprint, full price with tax, unlocked ,it was excepted to be a global phone. But now I come across with some problems in China using local carrier.Now I am in China, not the normal use of the phone, I rely on odd jobs to earn, very not easy, English is not my mother tongue, maybe there are many grammatical mistakes, I hope you'll forgive me! Mobile phone can not be used normally I am very sad, I can not contact the parents and friends, can not let them worry about me, I've tried all means, including the upgrade to 6.1, but still can not solve the problem, I think maybe I am in China, so can not be used normally, at this moment I am very anxious, because of the time difference, it is later I can send mail, you can see it, please help me, a Chinese student's request!
I tried all the possible solutions from the Internet, and the Official solution offered by Apple (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4459), but it doesn't seem to work.
Will Apple help me with this issue? Please do.THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

We are not Apple, and Apple does not unlock phones. Sprint will unlock phones, but you have to qualify. One of the qualifications is to have been a customer in good standing for a period of time. You can check their website for what that is. After that, they can unlock the GSM side of the phone for International use, that is it. If you are on a CDMA carrier, then it cannot be unlocked. Are you trying to use a local SIM card in China?
Your only option is to contact Sprint to see if you qualify for an unlock. Only they can unlock it. Sprint is one of the poorest choices to take to another country.
