Qualified Range is not Working

Hi,
I am having issue with Number Range getting crated for my Customer Number.Steps what I took to Acheive .
In Console :
For Remote System R/3
Key Genration : Qualified Range
Lookup Fields : Account Group.
Even For Account Group table has Key Mapping set to "Yes"
Then in the syndication Remote Key Value is mapped to Customer Number .When I syndicate the Records customer number not getting created and also when I check the Edit Kay Mapping,doesn't show anything for the Record.
Please help us onthis ,do I miss something here.

after completing MDM Console setting for qualified number range
kindly Note following points:
1. make sure main table(for e.g. Product) and account group table key mapping should enable
2. import main records with specific remote system
3. open syndication map, and map value field under remote to destination side
4. in syndication map properties tab select remote system under Remote Key Override
5. Dstination preview tab will display customer number based upon qualified number range

Table range is not working!!

Hello all,
I am using the JHeadstart 10.1.3 production (build 91) and JDeveloper 10.1.3
I have a main group and 2 detail groups (nested) and regions on the main group. I tried to limit the number of rows by the "table rangë", by selecting it and putting the number of rows and its not showing on the page. I am getting the entire rows.
any comments about it

Hmm, very strange. Is this the only page where table range is not working? Can you try creating a new project from scratch and see whether it works correctly there?

Colour Range Tool not Working in CC as it did in CS6.

Hi, I'm currently trying out Ps CC and have realised that the Colour Range tool is not working as it did in CS6. Rather than selecting the solid colour sampled by the eye dropper (in this case pink from a blue and pink design) it is selecting fragments of both colours. No amount of playing with the sliders is improving the selection clarity. Does anybody have a solution? Thanks Kayle.

Range Expander Not Working with MAC

Have been using two WRE54G Range Expanders for over two years. However, I wanted to add WEP to my system, but when I did that, the Range Expanders lights went RED. I tried to access the SETUP, but for some reason I am unable to access it. In any event, made the classic mistake of trying to fix something that really wasn't broken. Have spent three chat sessions trying to resolve all the issues and of course, after solving one, another cropped up. Here's where I'm at right now. Still cannot access the Range Expander SETUP, but more importantly one of the Range Expanders is now no longer working with the MAC's that we have at home. My wireless PC works fine, but each time I try to log in one of the MAC's, in the expander territory, it tells me that it's a secure connection, which it's not. For now, I've unplugged one of the expanders and am only using one downstairs and while I have connectivity upstairs, it's not as good as when the expander was working.
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

OK, my problem has now shifted to another issue. I did as 'quack' suggested and got both expanders to apparently work, both had two blue lights. I tried two of the MAC's we have, the third is out of the house at the moment. Also tried my PC laptop, that worked as well.
I then decided to activate WEP on the wireless router Linksys WRT54G. Here is where it gets confusing. Both expanders now have one blue light and one red light, but when trying to connect either of the MAC's it does prompt me for the network key, which once entered, both computers get on the Internet. It took a while and a re-start for the PC to recognize the network as secure, but once it did and I entered the network key, it too worked.
What continues to baffle me is that there is no way I'm able to access the web setup for the extenders. The other routers/etc in my network connect via http://192.168.49.xxx, however when I try this using '240' and/or '241' for the expanders, nothing happens. If I try to ping those addresses, I get no reply.
What furthers confuses me, in that reading some of the other posts it seems that the expander actually showed up in your list of 'AVAILABLE WIRLESS NETWORKS', that is not the way mine is now, nor was it ever in that list. I guess I should just leave well enough alone, since everything seems to be working, but I get the sense, it's not working properly.

Page Range Printing Not Working In Snow Leopard

I am trying to print multiple pages from the Help menu>User Manual...Selecting a range of pages to print using Reader 9.3.2 and Snow Leopard does not work. I can see the printer briefly accepting data, but no printing occurs. Reader works fine with other PDF documents.

This isn't quite correct! The 'booklet printing' facility was present (and worked - I've just checked it!) in Leopard (10.5); but, as with some other useful functionality, was lost on installing Snow Leopard (10.6).
I suspect that it is a print driver function and that (since I'm using an HP laserjet) it will be up to HP as to when, or even if, they choose to reinstate this very useful function.
Come on HP: let's have it please!

Range Extender not working on Wireless 802.11n

Long story short the RE1000 Range Extender is not working (connecting, extending) on Wireless 802.11n after the firmware upgrade. As a result the device is not useful because the devices that attempt to connect to it are NOT expecting the wireless level to change and thus just get stuck in limbo land.
My wifi network (as of writing this) SSID is called "SeriesOfTubez" and is broadcasting on b/g/n. However as you can see by the wireless network survey (from the router) all other devices connect on "n" but the RE1000 is only connecting/broadcasting on "b/g" (not "n")
Is there a setting somewhere to force it to use "n" or does Cisco/Linksys need to fix the firmware again to get it right? or do I need to take the unit back to the store and buy another brand that properly supports 802.11n?

Great to hear that, Steve. Keep your eyes open and observe your connection. Don't worry, Linksys Support is available 24/7. I've had a number of great support experiences from them even at ungodly hours!

Range Expander not working .. Desperately needed HELP

I just bought the wireless expander yesterday. At first, i followed the instructions which came with it. As my network is WPA-enabled, i insert the CDrom to start the utility. Everything went well and the utility was able to find my network and the wireless expander. My network had a boosted range after that. However, after one of my family members accidentally pressed the auto configuration button, everything went haywired.
I tried to reset the wireless expander and start the utility again. However, this time, the utility wasn't able to find the wireless expander.I tried it over and over again , to no avail.
I came to this forum and realized that quite a lot of people are facing the same problems as me. I followed the solutions as stated. I was able to get 2 blue lights lit after that. However, my laptop kept prompting something abt ip (can't remember the exact words) And i can't used the internet at all. I went on the forum and found the solution to it. I did what it says but it's still the same. So i decided to reset the wireless expander and at the same time taking note of the ip problem.
However, after i reset the wireless expander, whatever i did wasn't able to get the 2 blue lights lit. I have been at this for 6 hrs and on my way to madness.
Can someone help me out here?
My Modem : Motorola ( Can't remember the exact model)
My wireless router : NetGear WGR614 v5
My wireless expander : Linksys WRE54G v2
What i did :
1) I connected the wireless expander to my laptop using an ethernet cable. Thus, getting a lan connection.
2) I changed the static ip address of it
IP -- 192.168.1.155
Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0
Default gateway -- 192.168.1.1
3) I was able to access to http://192.168.1.240
4) I changed the settings
ok -- here's the problem ..
When i run cmd --> ipconfig /all --> i get ip: 192.168.1.137
                                                               subnetmask : 255.255.255.0
                                                        default gateway : 192.168.1.1
When i went to my wireless router settings it was IP : 222.164.18.197
                                                                   Subnet mask : 255.255.248.0
                                                                   Default gateway: 222.164.16.1
I do not know which one to use , so i tried both settings. For the 1st one, everything went fine , until after the power cycle. The blue lights still did not lit up .
For the 2nd IP , i can't even get the webpage to change my settings.
I have tried a combination of things. Set the SSID to the same as my wireless router SSID . I have download the firmware and yet when i tried it , all 3 trys were used and nothing happened.
I have tried doing this over and over again , looking for a step that i might have missed , but i think that i have reached my wit's end..
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

MINdReAdEr, yep you are in trouble with the unit. The WRE54G does a good job but it can be quirky to set up. When I bought mine from Amazon, i went first to the Customer reviews for info and I there found the right way(s) to install the unit. First of all, of course, forget about the CD instructions. Too frustrating when they start to backfire. ************************************ Better ways - got from Amazon (in fact, go there and search for WRE54G and see all review): ************************************ 1. The one below outlines easy installation if your network/wireless router are on the SAME SUBNET AS THE WRE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, i.e. 192.168.1.xx 279 of 285 people found the following review helpful: It does what it's supposed to, once you can set it up, August 1, 2004 By Anthony Taylor (Sherman Oaks, CA) - See all my reviews If you're having trouble setting it up, definitely call the 800 number as opposed to going online. Change the IP of that computer/laptop you are using to setup the WRE54G if needed - i.e. if that computer's IP (from the local LAN NIC, not the wireless card) is on another subnet than 192.168.1.xx. Use something like 192.168.1.1 for example. This is necessary to access the WRE54G's internal web screen (default: 192.168.1.240). Disable wireless on the computer you are usng to set up the WRE54G. 2. MAKE SURE that your internet connection DOES NOT at this time do through a proxy - mine normally does (Satellite Internet provider=Direcway/Hughes - proxy server advised/required). You have to dig really deep into Linksys EsyAnswer/KB site to even see that suggestion!! Momentarily disable proxy server in IE > Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN settings. I.e. the wired LAN connection you are using to set up the WRE54G must not go thru any TCP/IP proxy. 3. Power up and connect the WRE (I have version 3) to that computer's newly re-IP'd LAN port (the WRE54G comes with a short cat5 cable). So, at this point, BOTH the WRE54G and your LAN connection are on 192.168.1.xx subnets. 4. Just to make sure that a LAN connection has been established, ping the WRE thus connected. Should return satisfactory result. (Again, the computer wireless connection should be disabled at this point) 5. Access the WRE's web screen via 192.168.1.240. Screen should come up. Defaut PW is of course admin at this time. 6. And now we are ready to enter specific information pertaining to your own wireless network, as follows: a. Enter - if necessary - the IP address you want the WRE54G to have on your wireless network - to be on same subnet as Wireless router used for your wireless network. My network is on subnet 192.168.0.xx: I set the WRE54G on IP address 192.168.0.240. b. Same with subnet and gateway c. Check mode (mixed/b or g only) d. SAME CHANNEL as the router e. Enter new SSID and enable/disable broadcast - same settings as Wireless Router's. 7. Now it is time to select/enter Wireless Security settings for the WRE54G: actually exact same settings as your Wireless Router's. 8. Change the WRE54G password while you are at it! Save settings and that's it! Finally unplug the WRE54G from power outlet AND LAN connection to the computer used to set up the Extender; locate/power up the WRE54G somewhere appropriatly a bit away from the laptop, in range of the Wireless Router, and in sight from the wireless laptop for initial testing (just so you can actually see if the blue lights come on: they should in the following sequence - top blue > top red/bottom blue > both blue if everything is OK.) To initially test-drive everything, I placed the WRE54g about 30ft from the Wireless Router and 20ft from the wireless laptop (which I make sure still connects to the Wireless Router.) 9. Now re-enable the wireless connection on the computer used to set up the WRE54G. Experiment with the new connection with the WRE54G. It should kick in as the stronger connection right away (if you are CLOSER to the WRE54G then the router). You'll see that when you are connecting to/using the WRE54G to connect to your Wireless Router, the signal strength is indeed higher. In fact, if you can run NetStumbler (free wireless detection software) and thus run a Site Survey, you'll see that two APs show up, same network SSID (i.e. the Wireless Router and the WRE54G, now considered as an AP itself). Of course the WRE54G will show much stronger signals. 10. Then if all is OK, experiment with placing the WRE54G as suggested otherwise - i.e. at the periphery of the wireless range obtained by just using the Wireless Router. 11. Seems to work so far. I do not otherwise detect loss of signal or b'band speed. This thing does work. I have placed the WRE54G in many different locations and I am truly AMAZED at its range extension potential. NOTE: I assume that in case of presence of signals from BOTH the Wireless Router and the WRE54G at a given location (since both devices are on same channel/SSID/Protection scheme), one might have to reset the wireless connection on the remote(s) laptops (or to reboot) to allow it(them) to pick just one (the stronger of course) connection. I was looking all along for a way to set up the WRE54G without having to go thru the rigamarole of changing other settings elsewhere on the network, using the dreaded Install CD or other cumbersome procedure! As I change my encryption WPA code often, I'll just have to change that info in one more device (besides my WRT54G and the Linksys wireless bridge WET54G - another excellent, not cheap Linksys product which i recommend also and which I use to make my Sat internet service available to another building on my business premises). Simple enough however! Note: you can also use that device to allow a web access to a computer that does not have a wireless card: plug the WRE54G into elect outlet, make sure that the unit is in range of the wireless network, connect a LAN cable from the WRE54G to the card-less computer, and voila, ths computer can get online. **************************************** Hoping this helps! - Roger T

PR number range Exit not working

Hi all ,
We are using Exit for assigning the number range to the PRs using M06B0004 and M06B0003 but its not picking the exit .
We are using the same exits for getting the number range for other roll outs (Plant numbers )and its working fine .
I cant debug it as it doesn't stop there even if I put a hard break-point .

Y-T-D and Range Functions not working in upgrade to v 11.1.2.507 FR

Has anyone else had this problem. We are upgrading to v11.1.2 from 9.3.1 and when I create a new report with a range function in v 11, it just hangs there. When I use the YTD function, sometimes it works, sometimes it just hangs. Does anyone have any ideas on this. Thanks, Donna

To be honest the best place to start is to read through the Upgrade section of the install/config documentation, if you still don't understand after reading through then ask or specific question or maybe discuss with a consultant.

Date range searches - not working

Whenever I use a date range on a OTN forum search, the results are not what I expected them to be. For example I did a search for JUnit within a timefram of 30 days and my own posts don't show up.
Is this a known issue?

Replace range still not working!

I cannot get replaceRange to work properly on a textArea, with words longer or shorter than the word i want to replace it meeses it all up! here is my code:

In RGB Color Corrector Effect I cannot get the Output option of Tonal Range to work!
I have tried it with various files/projects. I have restarted the computer. I have uninstalled Premiere and downloaded again.
Nothing I have tried has made it work.

Neither can I.

On windows its working like expected.

Feature NUMAP - Applicant Number Range is not working

Dear Experts,
I have set number range from xx to xx with number 25 (for Applicant Number), and set the NUMAP feature as follow:
Molga:
>>25 Singapore
     >> PERSG (Applicant Group)
          >> Z Outsource Employee
               >> 25 (number range that i have set up earlier)
The problem is whenever i perform initial data entry the applicant always took other number range ( i already choose the Z as the applicant Group and personnel area that correspondence to Singapore). Do I miss something here? Thank you.

Validation not working on Qualified Field!!!! is this Normal!!!

Hi All,
I have an Integer field in the Qualified table.
Name-> Non Qualifier -> Type Text
Code -> Qualifier -> type Integer
Now, i need to write a validation which throws error If user enters a number whose length is less than 4 or greater than 4.
The business requirement is User should enter Exactly 4 Numeric values. Not less and not more.
As integer type field done not control Field length i have written a validation.
I have written a validation..
IF(IS_NULL(MAINLOOKUP.Code),1,IF(LEN(MAINLOOKUP.Code)<4 , 0 ))
But this is not working.
this works for a Normal Integer field which is in Main table, But this is not working when Code field is in Qualified table!!!
Is this the normal Behaviour of MDM??
Or am i missing something!!!
Experts please provide your suggestions.
Note: i changed the Code field to Text and made length as 4 in field property, But this is not controlling if user keys in only 2 values.
So written the above validation on text field as well, But it does not work.

Qlut contain next fields

and list of values

your main table contain next fields
name-text
Qlut->your Qlut
qlut_code->text
qlut_value_>text
For qlut_code create assignment like Qlut.code
For qlut_value create assignment like Qlut.value
add some records to main table like this:
name=test1
in qlut select next:
item name =Q1
item value=1
item name =Q2
item value=2
item name =Q3
item value=3
and another one record in main like this:
name=test2
in qlut select next:
item name =Q1
item value=1
item name =Q3
item value=3
item name =Q4
item value=4
item name =Q3
item value=33
select both records and run both assignments
If your assignments is correct
In first main record you have got
qlut_code=3:Q1;Q2;Q3
qlut_value_>3:1;2;3
for second main record you have got
qlut_code=4:Q1;Q3;Q4;Q3
qlut_value_>4:1;3;4;33
Then you can use records values from qlut_code and qlut_value for validation
This is work fine.

Print range with JavaScript does not work on Mac

Problem: I am using this.print({bUI: true, nStart: 1, nEnd: 2, bSilent: false}); to print a range of pages. Works perfectly on Reader 8 and 9 and AcroPro 8 in Windows XP. Works in AcroPro 8 on OSX 10.4 but not in Reader 8.1.2 or 9 in 10.4 or Leopard.
What happens: the print dialogue opens, the range is selected correctly and the pages radio button is selected, but the preview shows the first page, and clicking to print prints the whole document.
Workaround: making any change - even adding and deleting a space - to the print range in the print dialogue immediately causes the preview to switch to the desired pages, and the range now prints as desired.
Have submitted this as a bug, but wondered if there is another way to do this from a button, as we're on a deadline.
