what type of quality assurrance work or check list in XI/PI?

You don't dedicated/specifically need Quality Assurance Check List for PI. But you can have One dedicated section for QA for all points like General Points, Overview, Performance point of view, exception handling, Test conditions, also you can have Namestandards follwed or not etc in Technical Specification itself.

Hi,
1) Integration testing validate end to end business scenarios including interfaces. Use converted data (if applicable and based on the data strategy). Can be executed in multiple cycles based on the implementation strategy
2) Scenario-based testing across process areas
May include multiple t-codes, or equivalent units in a string or sequence
3) Testing across modules
4) Primarily deals with cross-application chains that directly or potentially impact each other
5) Consists mostly of positive testing with selected negative testing
6) Executed in the Quality Assurance test environment
7) Integration Testing will be performed in multiple cycles
8) Next cycle should not begin if critical discrepancies have not been dispositioned. All Integration test discrepancies must be closed by the end of the last integration test cycle
9) A discrepancy can be dispositioned if:
Retest Passes or
Workaround approved or
Alternate resolution approved

- plan the upgrade
- prepare the upgrade
- upgrade the Sap system
- perform the follow-up activities

Alesis stuff is generally pretty good and the Alesis is correct in that it is generally accepted that the TI chips are better and it is good advice.

I paid a $104 AUS it is now $77.90 (go figure)
Unfortunately there is no image on the web site. Without pulling my PC out I'm pretty sure it has 2 outputs and 2 inputs but don't quote me on that.
You should be able to pick something like this up anywhere in the world pretty cheap.
If it was me I would say that it would be a small investment and worth it to see if you can get the Alesis stuff stabalised.

Development and Quality Assurance clients on the same instance

It is possible and you can have DEV and QA on same server
We have at one location 2 server solman landscape in which we have DEV(100) and QA(200) on 1st server and PRD(100) on another server.

do help me.. i have several problem:
1. i cant even log in to my bb application world, and i try sync from laptop, it still the same, download not success. what happen? so how to do so i cant direct log in through phone, they ask me to log in, but never give me the log in tab.it just keep appearing session expire please log in again.
2. i dont even check list my bbm pp will be the same with the bbm contact, why it still keep following the pp same with contact, therefore i cant even see what photo my friend them post. what to do for this?
3. my recent updates, it direct updates will a every single things my friend post, i just wanted it wil be the 1 post for each like usuall. now it one friends, then a lot of their post..

Issue in Customize Clearance check list under the People Management form

Dear
We are on 11.5.10, we have created NEW template as "EXIT CHECK LIST" of People management, in which we have configured our own list which are mentioned below as example.
Check List
Name Date Status
IT Department user_input manually Verified/Pending
Finance user_input manually Verified/Pending
Human Resource user_input manually Verified/Pending
Now issue is, when head of above department change their corresponding record and successfully being update but system update last_updated_by column in all above three records who perform update/change record very last although he updated only IT record.
Therefore, we are not able to get their concern department Name in last updated by due to this issue.
Pls advice.

we handled similar situation through personalization as follows:
1a. Write the validation condition in personalization on WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE of ORDER Block.
Through actions, display error message and disable Book button.
1b. Write the negative of validation condition in personalization on WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE of ORDER Block.
Through actions, enable Book button.
2. Disable Book order button in LINES Block
3. Train the users to enter the order header first, order line next and then come back to header and click book (if allowed).

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. That should be easy to do if your extract is not too long.

Check List Notification

We realize that in the notification came out from the check list there is only minumim of data.
We are missing basic information such the employee's job, manager, department, grade etc...
Is there a way add this information to the check list notificattion?
How did you solve it in your projects?

Hello,
When a notification is created, the task performer need additional information about the employee in order to fully understand the task.
For instance - if the task is to allocate a laptop, need to know the employee's grade to know what kind of laptop this employee is entitle to.
If need to allocate a desk, need to know the employee's location
etc...

Check list field values using LINQ

I have to check if the CURRENT USER is already in the list USERS by comparing his AccountName to the list field ACCOUNTNAME.
If the USER is on the list I have to check if the field IsFollower is YES or NO and change it according to some conditions.
I think LINQ would be the correct way of doing this but I have no clue how to do that.
Any ideas pls, thanks

Yes, you can query the list using LINQ.
You need to get the SPList Object firstly, and then you can query list item value using LINQ.

Check List Option

Pages 08 offers options for bulletized and other lists but not a check list like Appleworks where you can create a list and check off items as they are completed. Is this correct or must I look somewhere else besides list style?

You can create your own custom list as a checklist. You will need to use the character pallette and select the checkbox dingbat. Then type in some text afterwards to have something to highlight in the directions from Pages Help below.
*To create a new list style:*
Select some text.
Click Inspector in the toolbar, click the Text Inspector button, and then click List.
Format the selected list text so that it looks the way you want. See Modifying Bulleted or Numbered List Styles and Modifying a Tiered List Style for Ordered Lists for instructions.
(This is where I added in the dingbat You may need to move the text to follow the box. Highlight just the text)
Press and hold the Add button at the bottom of the Styles drawer, and then choose Create New List Style From Selection from the pop-up menu.
Type a name for the new style.
If you don’t want to apply the new style to the selected text, deselect “Apply this new style on creation.”
Click OK.

Hi,
In SAP, there are quite a few configuration steps which are required in each and every FI implementation. However, it will be different in each client, depending upon several factors like Business Processes / requirements of the client / what modules are being implemented / what interfaces are to be maintained etc.
Similarly, if FI module alone is implemented it will be simple, but if FI and CO are implemented, it will be complex. Hence, I suggest first understand the requirements in a broad manner and based on that you can arrive on what configuration needs to be done.
Also note that SAP standard configuration will already exist and you can copy most of the settings to your Company Code(s).
At the high level, Organization structure has to be created based on Business requirements like Company Codes, Credit Control Area, Controlling Area, Operating Concern, Sales Organization, Division, Plant etc.
Some of the specific configuration steps in FI are creation of Chart of Accounts, Document types, Field Status variant, Account Groups for Customer / Vendors etc. This is not exhaustive and you can look at IMG to identify the different config steps required for your client.
