i am working for QM,
i have maintain plant parameters for quality. activate qm vie in material master for raw material( with inspection type 01)
Maintain characteristics QS21. w r t quantity and another for quality.
Define No. Range for Inspection charact. method .
create sampling procedure.
Create Labour Work Centre.
Create Inspection plan with Usage = 05 and Status = 04.
Now i crate PO for Raw Material made MIGO for RAw material and check stock with MMBE. system shows inpection lot.
Now when i go for Inspection lot Selection : QA32
w r t plant, material & insp. lot origin = 01
i get blank screen. i dont what is the error can anybody please help me ?

Please check for the following
1. MM02 QM View - QM Proc indicator active ('tick') & QM Control key
- Inspection setup - Type 01 - Active indicator ('tick')
2. Whether QI Info record exist for the said material??
3. In MIGO, If you selected stock type as "Unrestricted stk", then qty will be posted and lot will not be created. So check for whether stock type given as "Quality Inspection "in MIGO.
Check & revert back.

Returns sale order stock from returns to quality error

Dear All,
For FG Material we have activated Inspection Type '06' - Returns from Customer Inspection and Inspection Plan with Usage 'Goods Issue 06' also created.
We create return sale order material comes in returns and we need Inspection lot with '06'. so in MB1B using mvt type 457 trying to move stocks from returns to quality but system is not allowing to transfer stock it gives error Change Inspection stock in QM only.
kindly give your suggestion for this error.

SAP has returns set up to create 06 inspection lots. These are not stock relevant. In this case the inventory goes into the return stock category and another move must be done to move the material to unrestricted or blocked as needed it will not allow to move to QI
If the material should go into QI stock and be under QI control, then config must be changed to use the 05 inspection type instead of 06.

In SPRO SD schedule line category for returns(DN) change movement type to 655 and make relevant settings for QM movement types.

Logon load quality error

Dears,
I checked one error in RZ20 in logon load quality option.
LogonLoadQuality               [ 1 Alert ], 6 < 50   current value below threshold value
Then i check in SMLG that one of my instance is having very less load quality than other.

You can't, Quality is calculated by an algorithm that takes in count lots of different factors to produce a quality value... The value of quality basically will tell SMLG where to allocate the next user that try to login. (instance with the lower value on quality).

I'm getting the following address error codes and I don't have the corresponding messages: F440, F441, F505. I have the descriptions for all the other codes.

Can you tell me which data quality product you are using? If this is for International Address Correction & Encoding you can find all error codes in the Quick Reference for Views and Job-File

Change to Best Quality error

No, this is not yet another post asking which really is the setting to get the best quality DVD.
My project runs about 1.5 hours so when I try to burn a disc image I get the error message telling me it's too big for one DVD so change the preference setting to Best Quality. The problem is, the preference setting is ALREADY set at Best Quality.
So I close it out and try to burn again and get the same error.
What am I doing wrong? Please help!

OK I figured out my error.
I was changing the preferences in the program settings - which changed NEW (but not current) projects. Once I went to project on the toolbar and changed settings it worked fine.
Live and learn.

Error 1074397153 Cannot Detect Recognizable Video source

I'm using a single PCI1410 card to acquire images from two cameras and display those images in Labview using the Multiple Camera Acquisition.vi found on the NI website. I'm running Windows XP, and my two cameras are Sony XC-HR70's with a resolution of 1024X768 each, running ~15FPS (total for both) thru the frame grabber. I have one camera as a master, supplying the HD & VD synch signals for both my slave camera and the PCI1410. Here is my problem:
      Whenever I change the light intensity for the cameras drastically (ie, abruptly shutting off the light source or blocking the camera), I get an error in Labview: "1074397153 @ IMAQ Extract Buffer.vi.   NI-IMAQ: Cannot detect recognizable video source". If I perform a gradual decrease in light intensity, I don't get the error. Unfortunately, the users often need to toggle on and off my camera illuminators abruptly, so a gradual transition is not an option.
       I thought this was a MAX issue, but it is not-MAX gives no errors regardless of light intensity.
       I also tried decreasing the white level and/or increasing the black level-(per NI Knowledgebase post) all that did was decrease my image quality, error still appeared. The error first appears in imgwaitforimaqoccurrence.vi which is inside imgsessionexaminebuffer.vi.
If I could somehow ignore the error and insert a ~ 500mS delay and then re-attempt to acquire video lock, it would probably work. Just not sure how to do this, or if it is the right approach. Any ideas?

I was wondering if you ran just a simple grab example program, and perform the same action of shutting off the camera's light source, do you get the same error? The error you are getting means that the frame grabber is not receiving any data from the camera in the expected timeout period. There shouldn't be any reason why decreasing the light quickly should stop the camera from sending data, as the camera should still be sending some data, like all black pixels or something. I might suggest tapping the data coming in with an oscilloscope to see if the data stops when you decrease the light. If you can't do this, I might suggest altering the code so that you don't stop the loop. You could also look at the shipping example called LL Scan Multiple Channels.VI. What version of the NI-IMAQ driver are you using? I would suggest that you upgrade to the most recent if you don't have it. Other than that it sounds like you need to find out what is causing the error before you start to find a solution.

Deploying JavaFX on Ubuntu (to a .deb package) -- Installed-Size error

I've already posted this to the NetBeans forums several times over the past 4-5 days, but no answers, so I thought I'd try here, since perhaps this is JavaFX related.
Essentially, I'm getting a "package is of bad quality" error (due to bad DEBIAN/control field "Installed-Size") when I attempt to install a .deb I've created with NetBeans when I install it on Ubuntu 12.04

Has anyone here successfully deployed to Ubuntu (or Debian itself) and you are not getting this "package is of bad quality" warning when installing? Or know how to fix it?
(Please see my last post--at bottom--at the netbeans forum link above for all the places--multiple links in that post--that I've referenced in an attempt to figure this out!)
My app runs fine, I just click 'Ignore and install' button--but that's really dirty and certainly undeliverable to a client that way!

To avoid the warning you can do this:
in file <name-of-project>/nbproject/configurations.xml
Add a line between <packInfoList> and </packInfoList>
with the estimated installed size like :
<packInfoListElem name="Installed-Size" value="528" mandatory="true"/>
then rebuild your package.

Quality LimitExceed:LowLimited

I have to read a tag which represent a "Status".
The data type of this tag is 2-byte integer.
The problem is this :
If I read the tag like "BitArray" I didn't see all
status bits.
If I read the tag like "Analog-Input" I obtain this
quality error : LimitExceed:LowLimited
Please, may you suggest me the solution?

In the Tag Configuration Editor, in the scaling tab, there are entries for the expected full and zero scale for all analog tags. By default, these are 100 and 0 respectively. These represent the expected range of values that the engine look for. If you write a value to the tag which is below the zero scale you will get the status you report. Changing the zero scale for this tag should correct your problem.

What happened to FaceTime?

Around this time last year, and for whatever reason, the quality of facetime calls seriously degraded. The people we talk to for the most are my wifes parents who live in a different state. We both have ipad 3's MASSIVE bandwidth and stable connections. Yet, we constantly get poor connection quality errors, Stuttered playback and outright dropped connections. It wasn't always like this. I can remember when it work, and it worked well, consistantly.
In fact, no matter who I use facetime with, the quality overall just *****. I don't know if this is a question or a comment at this point. I just want it back to were it was a year ago.

This is probably pack peddling for you, but can you share some data: What is your bandwidth-upload and download speed. Did you (or a close by neighbor) add anything new in your home a year ago that has any kind of wireless transmitter? Have you been able to try FaceTime from another wireless network/location?
I know you said you have "massive" bandwidth, but, clearly something is wrong.
Do you know that the parents can facetime to someone else and it works, or not?
Have you tried resetting your network settings on the iPad >Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

Fiscal year variant not maintain issue

Hi Gurus,
I am loading data from DSO to Cube. But I amgetting an issue "Fiscal year variant V9 is not maintained for calendar year 0001". Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

This looks like a data quality error.
The years maintained in your source system probably does not have a year 0001. If that data record is corrected and the correct year entered in the data record, this error should go away.
You may have mapped a date in the DSO to fiscal period in the InfoCube. That date may be incorrect for year 0001 which does not make sense.
You can identify this record in the DTP monitor by clicking on the magnifying glass icon which will show you all the records in that data package which has the error record.
And then click on the field header for status and click on sort ascending icon. It will quickly show you which record is failing by bringing the failed status record to the top of your list.
Once you have identified the record that has this bad data, you can ask the functional team who owns that data and ask them to fix it.
Or you can fix this record in your PSA. Or you can exclude that record in your DTP filter. There could be multiple records with the data quality error in which case you should filter out those records to be able to load data to the cube successfully.
These records may also be in your error stack. You can click on the error stack icon at the top of the window in your DTP monitor view. This will show you only the error records.

I captured the TR through making cube in edit mode and activated again.
I got the error while moving the TR from dev to quality:
ERROR : Partitioning can not applied as cube is having data.
May I know what can we do in this condition. as we know that repartitioning concept should work in case of cube contain data, than why this error we are getting.
And 2nd method which you said its not giving any option to capture the TR.

did you activate the Hierarchy data source in CRM? did you replicate metadata in BI? Try running RSA3 for the extractor in CRM , see what u get

well the vimdiff is always optional. what i will probably do is, when a pacnew helper is found:
1) $helper -c
2) $helper > $file.merged
3) allow user to vimdiff, rm merged file, move merged file over old file.
only step 1 is new. if the user likes the output and fully trusts the pacnew script, he only needs to type 'mv<enter>'

It means you are sending down the same characteristic to an external system like LIMS more then once.
I believe this is a warning. Not a hard error but I'm not 100%sure.
