I want to create a new inspection type for surce inspection and I will assign it to Miscellaneous insp lot origin.
What is the application of vendor inspection lot origin ? Can be used for source inspection ?

For source inspection.
If existing insp types are not going to solve your purpose , you can create insp type & assign it to insp lot origin 01.
But before that , check whether you can use the existing insp type 01 / 0130.
You need to assign that inspection type in the Q-info record , in the source insp field of insp control.

Use
    If you enter an inspection type for inspection lot origin 01 in this field, you can create an inspection lot for the source inspection within the lead time before the (scheduled) delivery date.
Dependencies
    The inspection type must be active in the inspection setup (Quality Management view) of the material master.
    If a status profile is stored in the quality info record for the supply relationship, a goods receipt inspection takes place instead of a source inspection.

1. You can create new PR and PO docu types at the following path:
For PR docu type:
First you need to create number range for docu type or you can use existing number range also. The path for creation of no. range is
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define Number Ranges
Then create PR docu type at below path and assign no. range to PR docu type here only
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define Document Types
For PO docu type:
Follow same procedure as mentioned for PR docu type. Path is
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Number Ranges
SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing->Purchase Order->Define Document Types
If you want to create PO referencing new PR docu type, link the PR docu type to PO docu type at below path:
SPRO>Materials Management->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Define Document Types--> Link purchase requisition - document type

Create a new condition type for tax... and assign in the Tax determniation

Hi,
I need to add custom condition tax type, i tried creating the condition in OBQ1 and add that condtion in FI pricing OBQ3, now I want to confirm what is basic conept means whenever we create on condtion in OQB1 and add in OBQ3.
i need to add that in Sales order and need to maunally populate that in the sales order.
could anybody suggest to create a new condition type for tax.(full process).

Hi,
Goto the T.Code "V/06".Create one new "Z" condition type.
Maintain the Condition Class as "D(Taxes)".
Calculation type as "A(percentage)".
Cond. Category as "D(Tax)".
Select the tick mark for "Group Condition" if it is applicable for you.
In the next step assign this condition type to your pricing procedure by using the T.Code "V/08".
Also maintain access sequence by using the T.Code "V/07" and assign it to your Condition type.
Now this condition type will appeared in your sales order after maintain teh condition records.

How can I create a new iCloud account for a familiy member having a new iDevice and reuse one of my aliases for it

Hi there,
I moved into iCloud from the very beginning and started with one iCloud account for me and my family, making use of email aliases for family members. Now the number of personal iDevices grows and I want to create a new and separate iCloud Account for my son. The pity is, that I reserved his full name already as alias address on my initial iCloud account. If I now delete this alias, can I create a new account with the former alias as new primary email address?
Or is there at least any transfer procedure supported for aliases between different accounts?

Couldn't agree more... the folks who are getting penalized for this are the early adopters of .Mac/iCloud dating from the days when the only way to implement a "family" account was to use aliases. Now all my kids' / my wife's name aliases sit in my account, unable to move. I guess the good news is that if I delete them nobody else will get them, but this seems a pretty poor consolation.
Would it really be so difficult to implement a "move this alias to another iCloud account" option that requires the "sender" and "receiver" to exchange some sort of code to implement the transation in order to prevent fraud?

You don't need to create two separate libraries.
If you want to sync different content onto each device, select the device in iTunes, select the tabs across the top and sync what you want.
To make it easier, create different playlists for each device and sync only those playlists.

How to create a new condition type for palets

Hello Gurus,
I want to create a new condition type to order material palets (like LP02) but I need to calculate a discount in % for entire palets only.
By example:
A discount of 5% for each completed palets.
I order 1 palet for 100euros, I want a discount of 5 euros, and final price is 95euros.
I order 1,5 palets for 150 euros, I want a discount of 5 euros and final price is 145 euros (100-5% + 50) and not 142,5euros (150-5%).
I order 2 palets for 200 euros, I want a discount of 10 euros and final price is 190euros
I tried with a fixed amount calculation type and it works fine, I have a discount only for entire palets. But when I tried with percentage calculation type, it doesn't work.
Any Idea?

Hi,
In the pricing procedure config, you will have to create a new formula under the AltCBV (Alternative formula for condition base value) column. The base quantity should be
Order Qty DIV 1
That will give you the effect of truncating the decimals. Suggest you get an ABAPer to have a look for you.

RH9: Can't create a new RoboHelp Style for tables

I'm using TCS3 (FM 10, RH9) in a Windows XP environment.
I have some tables in FM10 that I want to map to a RH style. I'm on the Conversion Settings dialog box, and don't have a RH style to map to. In RH7 I was able to create a new RH style and then map my FM style to it. I don't see where that is possible in RH9.

Can I create a new apple account for a product that is already associated with an existing account?

I have had an apple id account for a few years that is shared by myself and my family. It includes 3 ipod touches, 1 ipod nano, and 1 ipad. All of the devices are synced to each other and settings keep getting changed around between them, which is becoming an annoyance. I would like to create 2 separate apple id accounts, and keep my existing one, is this possible? Will I and my family be able to sync the devices to new accounts without having to reset each product? any advice and/or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks.

Can I create a new itunes account for my kids and still keep old music on both?

My kids currently have ipod nanos. They are getting ipod touches for christmas. Originally we setup a "family" itunes account on my computer. We now want to set them up their own account on their own laptop. Can we transfer old music from nano to touch to the new itunes account?

I have a question for the forum based on a business requirement.
On our standard FSG monthly reports, we display variance values for current MTD versus the MTD value from the previous year.
As designed, a positive variance in revenue is displayed as a positive number. Also as designed, a positive variance in expenses is displayed as a positive number as well.
In our industry (Time Shares), the prevailing method of showing an unfavorable variance in expenses when comparing the current month to the same month in the previous year is to format the variance as a negative number. This is apparently a requirement which I have to try to meet.
In researching the seeded amount types in the FSG setup, there does not exist one which would invert the sign on the expense variance only, and inverting the sign on the column reverses the sign on the revenue variance as well.
Has anyone gone through this exercise before, whether with clever programming or through an engagement with Oracle Consulting?
Any comments or lessons learned from past experience would be greatly appreciated.

But I do not know why anyone would create a new batch type for release strategies, it is totally unnecessary and provides no additional options. The class type indicates which objects can be classified and there is already one for release strategies.
You can create a new class or add characteristics to the existing class used in the release strategy anyway.
Ther is also NO WAY that two classes can be used in the release strategy and this new class type would not change this either???

Configure another Inspection Type for Production Order

Hi QM Gurus,
I have one scenario, my client wants to have another inspection type for inspection lot origin goods receipt from production because they have this requirement that for some materials they need to have a status profile that will be active for inspection type standard 04. And there are also some materials from goods receipt from production that does not need status profile. Since the only thing that we could assign as specific status profile is to its inspection type. Hence, i need to create another inspection type for lot origin goods receipt from production aside from inspection type 04 that will create automatic inspection lots with different status profiles.I try this in configuration but no inspection lots has been made for new inspection type assigned to LOt origin 04 and also assigned in the material master inspection set-up. How will i do this???

Hello Edsel,
you can configure for example an inspection type 0401 and activate this inspection type for the inspection origin 04 in customizing. Please look at the following customizing items:
Transaction QCC3
-> Inspection Lot Creation
- Maintain Inspection Types
- Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types
By activating the correspondent inspection type in the material master you can decide which inspection type is used. If you need both then you could think about using the exit QAAT0001 to assign the correspondent inspection type.
