Quality score by usage decision?

Dear SAPIENTS,
Can any one help me in creation of this configuration setting?
I would like to have quality score calculation from usage decision. Score calculation should be done by number of quantity received against order.
Suppose if 100 quantity ordered:
25% Deviation means 75 only received then score is 75
Likewise for 50%, 75% and 100%

Partial quality inspection & partial usage decision?

Hello Friends
Inspection lot is created when GR is done against purchase order, in normal case result is recorded for whole lot and usage decision is made partially / fully.
Say business want to inspect (record result) only 50 pieces and want to do usage decision of 50 pieces immediately and again want to inspect (record result) another 50 pieces of same lot and want to do the usage decision u2026u2026u2026u2026how to do it?
As per my knowledge once inspection is done & usage decision is done system stops to inspect that lot again.
Looking for your valuable input as soon as possible.

For result recording to be done for qunatity In control indicator of each char tick on long term Inspection.
This will allow you to do RR after UD has taken.
For UD to be done Partially means stock posting partially ...
You can create a UD code(AP) & in customization do not post it automatically.
Then You can only post 50 Qty initially with UD -AP
then for rest of the qty in QA32 select those lots with UD & stock post rest of the items when you carry out RR for rest of 50 .
This is the solution

Quality management - Collective usage decision

I want to do collective usage decision, I am using T-code QA16, but i am not getting the list of inspection lots.
Do I need to process some other transaction before it ?
QA16 - collective usage decision for OK parts. What is mean by ok parts. is it that we have to release these inspection lots before usage decision ?

Anybody knows ?

Work flow for Rejections in Quality- Usage decision

Dear all
We are in the process of activating work flow for Quality Inspection, During Usage decision there may be rejections for which we need to trigger a mail to the Internal department , stating the Remarks, description, rejected quantity etc ,
If any one has come across the same scenario kindly help us so as to implement the same in our organization.

Hi,
You can do any of the following according to you Requirement.
1) Below the Rejection Branch using the Send mail you can send the mail to Respective person.
2) Other wise using the Function Module you can send the mail, refer this l[ink|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/nYKdAw ].
3) Else place this Std. Task TS20000139 and provide the necessary binding below the Rejection branch a popup will open and the user can enter the comments and it will go to the Person whom you want.
Try any of this according to you requirement.

Production Order Receipt Block before Usage Decision is Made

Dear all,
I have a requirement to block production order receipt through MIGO into any storage location before the usage decision has been made for that production order.
This should be the rule for all non serial items, meaning that it should only apply to batch controlled and neither batch nor serial controlled materials.
Could someone please help me on this?

Hi,
Is it possible through by maintaining the inspection type for the material master. Then the material will be moved to quality stock after usage decision then you can move that material to unrestricted material.
For Batch managed or serial number profile defined material don't activate the inspection type.

Need to send data, after Usage decision in quality inspection (QA11)

Hi all,
After Usage decision in quality inspection (QA11), i need to send some data like material number, qty etc to external database or to external party. is there anyway i can achive this in real time? real time means, it should send the appropriate data to external party after usage decision is made.

Hi,
You can change results recording in case the MIC in the inspection plan of the lot are marked as "long term characteristics", else it wont be possible to change result recording.
you can change the UD code only after giving the Usage decision.
you cannot change the defects recording.

Quality inspection stock showing in urestricted stock without usage decision

Dear Gurus,
We have came across a serious issue in Quality department as follows.
The skip stock status "REL SKIP SPRQ CROK QLCH" is showing in unrestricted use stock even before the usage decision is made. Now when we are trying to reject the skip material, in MMBE there is no stock against Quality inspection. & the stock when rejected is getting deducted from unrestricted stock.
Request you please guide me so as to transfer the "REL SKIP SPRQ CROK QLCH" stock yo quality ispection once 105 is done.
Kindly guide what configuration settings need to be changed.

As I am new to QM kindly clarify following things to me.
1. Even if we reject the skip stock by making the usage decision, it won't be deducted from unrestricted.
2. Skip/DOL lot will never be shown under Quality inspection in MMBE.
3. The only rejection of SKIP/DOL that will happen is the line rejection.
4. Once the line rejection happens materila status will be removed as DOL & converted to normal for next 5 lots.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Quality Management - Usage Decision error

Hi all,
My scenerio is - There is a material ABC which is procured from the supplier. The Quality of the material is 'below standards'. However, material ABC, in Tcode QA11 Usage decision was done as ACC1 (accepted). Since the material ABC is not meeting quality standards, Usage decision is changed to RET1 (Bad Raw Material - Return) using Tcode QA12.
Now the problem is that when I enter QA11, the system does not allow me to enter as a message appears 'Detailed Info- Usage decision made is disallowed' is showing.
Please provide me a solution as the material is lying in the unrestricted stock and it has to be returned to the supplier. Also please consider costing implications.

Cancel the inspection lot in QM using the function to change the usage decision.
Logistics - Quality management - Quality inspection - Inspection lot - Usage decision - Change with History - Usage decisions - Functions - Cancel lot

Usage decision without quality certificate

Hey Gurus,
While doing MIGO for a particular material the quality certificate was not attached. Now after recording the result when i am doing the usage decision for this material, it is giving error that quality certificate missing. The material document has already been posted. How to make UD in this case?

1.What is status of the inspection lot: is it CTCM
Then go to UD screen ( QA11)-->edit --> Confirm receipt certificate
2.Now second option is go to QC51-->enter purchse order >select certificate/Material>double click->go to Certi Status-->select status 5-filed & Inspected
Save.

Sample still showing in quality inspection stock after usage decision completed

After process order completed, we have received 100 units as a quality inspection stock. After usage decision,( QA11), I have posted 98 units to unrestricted use and 2 units to the to sample usage
98 units successfully move to unrestricted stock.
However 2 units for sample still showing quality inspection stock.
I have checked MB51, mat document number for sample is 4900000160 and movement type is 331
Do you have any idea why sample still showing in quality inspection stock. It should consumed and zero out the quality inspection stock in MMBE

Please check you MIC's control Indicators.
Is it tick on Destructive insp. under Sample tab ?
Please tick it and try again with whole process.
Destructive Insp. : You specify whether the sample is to be destroyed after inspection. This means that is no longer available. This quantity is used in the usage decision as the proposed quantity for the posting to sample.

I understand the U/D is done through QA32. Can you suggest a transaction for mass processing of usage decision for multiple insp lots

QA11 is also UD for a single lot, you can try using QA16 which collective UD for Inspection lots.

Selection of usage decision based on % of rejection done thorugh Insp Lot

My business scenario is as follows:-
I have created new usage decision codes as mentioned below through QS41and assigned the same to code group RI-UD and catalog 03.
I3     INITIAL REJECTION >75% to <=100 % (1)
I4     INITIAL REJECTION >50% to <=75% (40)
I5     INITIAL REJECTION >25% to <=50% (60)
I6     INITIAL REJECTION <=25% (80)
and quality score maintained the same through QS51

Anything can be done SAP!   But what you want would be all custom. There is no SAP functionality that would do that for you. I'd start with the auto UD program first. Have the programmers modify the selection parameters to select the list of lots. Than process those lots with the logic you want o use and change the UD accordingly. I'd make sure I could run the program manually as well. Similar to some of the other UD workload programs.

Quality Score in Vendor Rating

Dear Sir/Mam
I want to know about quality score which comes in Usage decision,Now in our case when inspection lot is generated we have only one case if accepted the quality score is 100 and when rejected 1,but our requriment is we want different quality score,i maintained different score in selected set,my concern whether this quality score has impact on vendor evaluation score( for quality criteria),how it is calculated please guide.

Quality score are maintained for quantitative valuation of the quality of inspection lots against a vendor, material , customer
1) They have to be first maintained in the client level setting
SPRO > QM> Maintain settings at client level> You need to maintain the highest quality score (100) and lowest quality score (1) system doesnt take 0. also Lower limit for good quality (90)
2) it is maiinly used in the selected sets for usage decision
QS51/ 03 catalogs for each UD code you can give a Quality score. So while you are giving UD system picks up this score and update the same for inspection lot , material, vendor, customer as applicable.
You can give 100 as quality score for clean acceptance, 1 for complete rejection, may be 50 for partial acceptance etc.
for eg you can maintain your UD selected sets like this Code, Description and UD score
001     Clean Acceptance     A Accepted (OK)     100
002     Accepted subject to Rework     R Rejected (not OK)     50
003     Accepted with deviation     R Rejected (not OK)     70

Evaluation of Quality Levels
You can use this function to can select quality levels, display the selected quality levels in a list, reset or tighten selected quality levels, display the data and dynamic modification rules for selected quality level records, and display the dynamic modification history for quality levels as a graphic or in a list.
Quality levels that have been deleted can no longer be evaluated (that is, you can no longer obtain a dynamic modification history of the inspection lots that were included in these quality levels).
If the system finds more than one quality level record for the selection conditions, it switches to a dynamic selection list that contains all quality levels that meet the selection conditions.
If only one quality level exists for the selection criteria, the system switches directly to the dynamic modification history list for the corresponding quality level. The dynamic selection list appears by choosing Goto ® Back. You can make changes in this list. There are the following functions in the dynamic selection list:
In the transaction Edit list (menu path: Logistics --> Quality management --> Quality inspection -->Quality level -->Edit list)
Creating a Quality Level Manually
Use
In most cases, you will not need to create a quality level manually. However, if you are implementing the Quality Management (QM) application component for the first time, you may want to enter data for the quality levels recorded in your previous system.
Prerequisites
You can only create a quality level manually for lot-based dynamic modification.
Procedure
Choose Logistics -->Quality management --> Quality inspection --> Quality level --> Create.
Enter the necessary data on the initial screen for creating a quality level and choose Quality level.
You define the dynamic modification criteria (material, vendor, manufacturer, or customer) and the inspection plan for which the quality level will be maintained on the initial screen.
Enter the following data on the screen for creating quality levels:
Next inspection stage
Number of inspections or inspection lots that (based on the dynamic modification valuation) have been completed since the last inspection stage change or were accepted without an inspection (skip)
Number of inspections or inspection lots (based on the dynamic modification valuation) that were rejected since the last inspection stage change
Reset date on which the quality level again uses the initial inspection stage (specified in the dynamic modification rule) as the current inspection stage
Earliest possible deletion date for the quality level
The system makes entries in all other fields if:
An inspection lot is created.
A usage decision is made.
Save your data.
The initial screen for creating a quality level appears and the system informs you that the quality level was created.

You can do change quality score according to the usage decision
go to selected sets of usage decision. QS51.select the code group and go to codes
there you can define quality score against each code as per your need
